Hi,I have created a node of type sling:OsgiConfig and have inserted a property 'propertyPath' which is of type String[]. I can access this in my component JSP using:Configuration conf = sling.getService(org.osgi.service.cm.ConfigurationAdmin.class).getConfiguration("Name of the config"); String[] myProp = (String[]) conf.getProperties().get("propertyPath");How can I do the same in a java class. I want to make a method in java class that I would call from my JSP.  I am doing this using taglib. How can I achieve the same thing in the method that I am going to write.Thanks in advance, Ankit

I'm trying to run CQ 5.6 on a Macbook Pro with OS X 10.9...just for development purposes. I'm using the default JDK 6 bundled with the OS.When I attempt to launch CQ, quickstart opens my browser and ... nothing at all appears. The content of localhost:4502 is just an empty browser screen. Hi, I would like to write a filter that will intercept a page properties post request. My filter will check to see what parameters are being posted and if it find the ones I am interested in. I would like to stop further processing of this post and do a redirect to another page. So far I have had no luck. Can you please provide an example. Thanks

Newly created comments are replicating properly across the Publish and Author instances. However, when deleting comments, the comments are removed from the Author instance but *not* the Publish instances. No exception is being thrown in the logs. Where would be the best place to look at troubleshooting this issue?

I wanted to know if the CQ 6.0+ is backwards compatible for the code I have deployed on 5.5. and 5.6?

I want to develop a component for pdf(asset) searching. The existing QueryBuilder API does not search thru  Scanned and OCRed PDF files. It searches only normal PDF files. Is there a way I can achieve this?

Has anyone successfully set up WebDAV on Windows 7?  I have followed the instructions here: https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/administer/content/webdav-access.html, but after entering the URL for the network location, I am prompted for credentials, but none work.  I try admin and the password and also the user matching the user that has logged into the computer since the documentation for Windows 7 states: "In addition, you need to have a Windows user with the same credentials as the repository user, otherwise you will get permission problems."  Neither set of credentials worked. My registry setting for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WebClient\Parameters\BasicAuthLevel is set to 2 and I have added http://localhost:4502/crx/repository/crx.default to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WebClient\Parameters\AuthForwardServerList to see if that fixed it.

This article https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/creating-touchui-xtypes.html says "It's strongly recommended that you place custom xtypes in a cq:widgets client library folder for use in AEM 6, as shown in this development article. If a custom xtype is placed in a client library folder based on a custom category property (for example, myclientlib), it may not work in AEM 6 Touch UI. "Can someone elaborate on the "may not work" aspect of that? In my case, it seems to not work unless I use a categories property of cq.widgets. However, I'm in a situation where this client may have other vendors installing code to the AEM servers, and I'm trying to minimize the possibility of collisions with their code. Having everyone use the same categories property will introduce more risk from that perspective, and if there's a way to remove that requirement, I'd be interested in looking at it.Thanks

The AEM 6.0 classic UI's siteadmin has a help link on the top right corner.  Our customers click it and they get a dialog with a title: "Documentation not installed" (see attached screenshot).  They think we failed to install something for them.I tried to search for a package on package to install so that this error goes away.  However, I could not fins a documentation package for 6.0.  I do see that in touch UI the help link actually goes to online documentation.My question is:1. Is there a documentation package for AEM 6.0 on package share?  If so, would you let me know what keywords to use to search it?2. If no documentation package exists, then what would you suggest?3. One option I think would be to point the help link to docs.adobe.com, Is that feasible? If so, where can I find the action associated with help link in JCR or code?Thanks for your help.

Hi, I am currently developing an App in AEM based on the PhoneGap Starter Kit. The bootstrap project does bring in the Ionic css in their clientlibs, but I need to add the ionic.js as well. I've tried different approaches and ended up adding ionic.js and ionic-angular.js to the clientlibs. I can see in the developer tools that Ionic is being loaded but it is not compiling the html accordingly (meaning Ionic behaviour is not being applied). Adding 'ionic' to the angular-app-module-list.js.jsp brings up an Angular Module error. Does anybody know how to add Ionic to an AEM project? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Alex

Can I get some code for fetching component properties from a java class.I'm  working on a component which requires some properties that the user sets during run time.Initially, I was simply using a properties.get('employeename') to fetch this property from my component(JSP), but I'm trying collect this value from a java bean.How to fetch this property 'employeename' (which is set during runtime on my component) within my Java code?We can achieve this by using third party AEM frameworks like Slice,Bedrock etc.But I didn't want these frameworks.Refer : http://code.citytechinc.com/bedrock/component-framework.html​

Open any page in Geometrixx: http://localhost:4602/content/geometrixx/en/company/management.htmlIn sidekick, go to page properties and add any tags into Tags/Keywords. I've added the 3 tags as shown in the attachment.Hit OK. Now re-open the page properties dialog. The tags in the TagInputField has been re-ordered. It's not in Alphabetical order, or the order they were entered in the Tagging console when they were created. I do not want these to be re-ordered. They should keep the order in which they were added. CRX/DE however shows the order conserved on the jcr:content node for the page. But the dialog doesn't reflect this. Is there a way to avoid this?See attachments.Thanks in advance for any help.
