I am working with the training sire (Geometrixx) and want to use with Eclipse. I got the Eclipse plug-in working and the sample site from the plug-in. I want to bring in the samples from the training workshop and practice with those. Has anyone done this? Is there a link to the procedure?Thanks in advance, Jim

Hi,I am using CQ 5.6.1 and want to search pages that are tagged to more than one values of tags. For example: I want to search all the pages that are tagged to:topicId=investment and language=english and type = somethingI can do it for single value of tag like        //searchMap.put(tagid, topicId);        //searchMap.put(tagid.property, @jcr:content/cq:tags);How can I implement it for more than one values of tags.ThanksAnkit

Hey there , I'm new to CQ and playing around with forms .  I have a html form (not cq form) where i am posting to a custom servlet which creates properties on a specific node in jcr  and also saves the values to a .txt file  based on some custom logic  .After successful post ,  i want to return to the same form page with saved values reloaded on the form ? Normally my requirement is  , only to write to a .txt file on post , but since i have to show the saved values to user reloaded in a form I'm also saving to node so that they can be easily retrieved when compared to parsing the text file .What would the best way to achieve it ?  Thanks in advance for your pointers and tips .

Hi,what would be the best way to execute custom servlet /service once a page property is added or modified? For example , if author opens up page properties from side kick - advanced- update or add new design path, I want to execute my custom service. One way which I read through some of the posts is to use jcr observation listeners,but some recommend not to as they might create problems in multi cluster environment.would using a sling post processors right way to archive it? Hey there!I've got a huge DAM here (60GB) and my goal is to do a cleanup. I removed all unreferenced DAM-Assets, removed the sub-asset workflow steps and removed all subassets and now I'm looking into the renditions. I saw, that out of the box CQ is generating a few renditions. My question is: Which one are realy used by CQ? I noticed if i delete all renditions, i won't get a thumbnail preview in the contentfinder-sidebar :). I couldn't find a documentation of the generated renditions on the cq website.

I am trying to extend the OOTB chart component. I created a chart component with resourceSuperType = foundation/components/chart. and then created a chart.java file which is a replica of com.day.cq.wcm.foundation.chart.java and saw a int variable yawidth defined like this:int yaWidth = "" + this.maxValue.length() * 7;I have copied chart.jsp,img.png.java and legend.png.java on my local chart component and updated their import chart.java from my local.With this yawidht definition my local chart component is not working. But if I define yawidth like thisint yaWidth = 100;It starts working again. Can someone tell me whats the significance of yaWidth and why its defined like that?.Another part is, I am trying to induce tooltips on linechart, on hovering a certain point on line it shows the value. Is there any possible way of achieving it ?

CQ dispatcher is caching content over https request. How can I config the dispatcher so that it won't cache https content? I'm using dispatcher 4.1.5 with IIS server.

I'm new to the forum and still trying to get up to speed on CQ5 so forgive what I hope is a newbie question.I didn't create this situation so I'm a little unclear how we got here but this is my problem:We deleted some pages from author when we redesigned one of our many websites. It was developed in a preproduction environment and moved as a package to our production environment. The new site works well and looks exactly the way we want it. The problem is that although you can't navigate to these pages as you click through our website you can still hit what I guess you would call "orphaned" pages if you use the specific URL to get there. (I presume the same is true for anybody who may have created a bookmark to those pages.) When I look in author these pages appear to be thoroughly deleted. I have gone to our dispatch servers and deleted the html pages that I found there. However, when I try to hit the pages they are brought back over from our publish servers somehow (although,

I have made it mandatory (allowBlank : false).In my selection changed listener function i am making the field disabled/enabled .But even when it is disabled (Disabled : true) , since there is allowblank it still keeps alerting for the mandatory field  .My requirement is that when the button is disabled it should not check for allowBlank property .Please help in doing this . Thanks in advanceHarish

Hello,Is there a way one could have the binary data of an asset stored elsewhere(outside of AEM, say CDN) and have a reference say a url , stored in metadata property in AEM,  pointing to where the asset is stored in CDN. The asset in CDN has the binary data.Thus the asset in AEM has the refernce to the asset and its binary data in CDN. Is it possible to go about this approach?Please suggest.Regards,NZ

Hello,I have set up the LDAP and in ldap_login.conf I set up syncCallbackClass="com.test.ldap.LDAPConnector". I then created the bundle that contains the class LDAPConnector that extends the Callback. However, after deploying the bundle I am seeing following error. To create a java object that has a property holdign the node wehre the properties are stored and then the getter will get the value from the node strucutre?2. or create the object while retrieving all the data from node, and then when getter is triggered it get values directly from java objectIs there any performance difference?THnaks.

I want to activate the pages that reference a certain image at the time the image is updated and published. Does CQ 5.6. offer out of the box functionality for that?
