I am trying to understand how AMS works. In onprem option we host AEM in any date center or any cloud and use any deployment method to deploy the code.  In case of AMS, what I understood is,we should take from ccontract(kind of package) with Adobe Managed Services to host AEM on behalf of the customer which means AEM will be hosted in any cloud based on customer wish.  In case of of AMS, how does cloud manager works ? can we use any deployment method(Jenkins etc) in AMS as do in onprem?

I have a document which is published as a PDF. There are multiple codeblocks containing code within the document. THe alignment of the code displayed in the PDF is correct.  When I copy the codeblock from the output and paste it in a txt file, I see that the alignment is not correct. The leading spaces are not shown, and so all the lines start at the same level. Is there any way to fix the alignment issue while copying the codeblock?

I was getting a NullPointerException  in my method in the following line of code ValueMap heroTeaserImageValueMap = resource.getChild("image").getValueMap()so I rewrote it to:ValueMap heroTeaserImageValueMap = getImageValueMap(heroTeaser);private ValueMap getImageValueMap(Resource resource) { if (resource.hasChildren()) { return resource.getChild("image").getValueMap(); } else { return ValueMap.EMPTY; }}This is not giving me the NullPointerException since I make sure I check if node has children nodes and from the data structure in the repo I know the child node name is image. Can someone suggest how I can improve this code.  This is how the resource looks like in the repo "heroteaser": { "jcr:primaryType": "nt:unstructured", "targetBlank": "false", "bgColor": "blue", "teaserLead": "Home Hero Teaser Lead", "linkType": "button", "sling:resourceType": "xxx/heroTeaser",

Hi all, I am new to Adobe Target and i found myself with this problem where the documentation does not cover. My companys site uses the same URL for both desktop and mobile sites, but the mobile version is not responsive so i cannot use mobile viewports. However i cannot find any option to load the mobile version of a website while making the activity, thus all my activities can only work for desktop version. Does anyone know how i can choose the non-responsive mobile website when i make a new activity? Thank you.

Hi guysWe have two questions regarding the change of Marketo channel status, please. Below it's one of our channel setup. And there are a number of programs that are using this channel.    1) If we change the Success tick from Influenced - 50 to Received - 40, what will happen to the programs & members that are currently using this channel? 2) if we add another new Status, for example: Engaged - 60  after the Influenced - 50 status. But still keeping Influenced one as Success (adding another status after the success stage, but don't count it as success). What will this do to the programs that are using this channel? Can we add another status after the Success step in a channel? Thank you Wayne

Currently we have an Adobe Target Experiment active on our site for an A/B experience. It seems to fail to load the experience on the initial load of the website (we have cleared all cookies/cache/history). However, when we refresh the page, Adobe Target successfully loads the experiment in either A or B experience.  Any suggestions as to what could be causing this to happen? Why does Adobe Target experience only begin to load after a refresh?

Hi All, I created a junit class for a service and while running, getting an exception as below.  I am getting resource resolver as below. Only then I am able to adapt that to session in later step. Inside serviceclass, I close resource resolver that was created in service. when(resourceUtility.getResourceResolver(Mockito.any(ResourceResolverFactory.class))).thenReturn(context.resourceResolver()); If I return mocked resource resolver as below, resolver.adaptto(Session.class) is returning as null.when(resourceUtility.getResourceResolver(Mockito.any(ResourceResolverFactory.class))).thenReturn(resourceResolver); @vijayalakshmi_s

Hi All, Can some one help me with below issue. GraphQl persisted query endpoints aren't working in the publisher for me. To give an example when I hit below url to fetch list of all persisted queries . I get bundle name instead of query list. Whenever I attempt to click into the "Reports" tab in Analytics Workspace it never loads and just takes me to Workspaces ... I've tried to re-download report builder but it's not supported by Mac

Hello, I am trying to install AEM6.5 on AWS EC2 instance and similar to what we do on-prem, I am trying to execute the below to install java -jar cq5-author-p5502.jar -r author It does create the crx-quickstart and all the respective folders but when i try to start the instance from bin/start it appears to get stuck at the below and generates core dump - 29.06.2022 11:12:37.227 *INFO* [FelixStartLevel] org.apache.tika.parsers BundleEvent STARTING29.06.2022 11:12:37.365 *INFO* [FelixStartLevel] org.apache.tika.parsers Service [720, [org.apache.tika.detect.Detector]] ServiceEvent REGISTERED  Below is what i see in the hotspot file, please let me know if anyone has faced such an issue and have been able to fix it. Hello, We're writing 4,000,000 at a time to a custom broadlog table (on prem instance, Oracle back end, 19c, AC build 9349). This table is partitioned on tscreated and is quite large (163,740,279 records, 256 GB). Stats are gathered each morning by a cron job on the database server. Old partitions are dropped as the data ages out. As I watch the job loading the 4mm records via TOAD Session browser, the behavior is this: a few hundred thousand records are written, and then up_UpdateTableStats is called. Then a few more hundred thousand are written, and up_UpdateTableStats is again called. This process really slows down the load.  So, the question is: how can we turn off the automated up_UpdateTableStats call during insert/update? Thanks,Jim

Hi there,  I'm new to backend AEM development. Do you know if it's possible to trigger a workflow via API? If so, can you point me to an example? Thank you

I'm using sling:resourceType = "granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form" for creating a form. In this I've mentioned the action = "/bin/servlets/servlet-name". There is one textfield which has name = "userName". I have not mentioned any method. When I hit submit button, the GET request is sent to servlet forming the following url : http://localhost:4502/bin/servlets/ranosys-osgi-config?.%2FuserName=nikita . That means the value is passed as the parameter in the requestURL. But when I add method="post", the parameter is not passed into the URL resulting into the following link: http://localhost:4502/bin/servlets/ranosys-osgi-config which results into the null values for the servlet variables. Is there a way that the parameter can be added automatically in the URL for the POST request too?

Can I get more detail on my A/B test in my email program than what it shows me in the dash? I don't want numbers of clicks/opens. I want %. The same kind of details I get from a regular smart campaign. Is there somewhere I can look in this A/B email program that has more detailed metrics?

Working with the adobe client data layer. I see only some variables being passed back in the beacon. Not all. The variables are set in the data layer. I am setting these in Adobe Analytics set variables (custom code):The structure where the component is found: 5. component: form-container-123456: formId: "form-container-123456" formName: "main contact" formType: "contact us" pageOfForm: "home"  How I am setting the variables.  Tags > rule > actions (formStart) > AA set variables custom code:  s.linkTrackVars = "events,eVar10,evar33,eVar83,prop10"; s.linkTrackEvents = "event12"; var myComponentPath = event.message.eventInfo.path; var acdlComponent = window.adobeDataLayer.getState(myComponentPath); s.eVar10 =acdlComponent['formId']; s.eVar83 =acdlComponent['formType']; s.eVar33 =acdlComponent['pageOfForm']; s.prop10 =acdlComponent['formName']; s.events = "event12"; s.tl(true,"o","Contact Us Start"); s.

Hi All -I have a Calendar Token in an email and I cannot get the color of it to change. It's always a bright blue which isn't inline with the color theme of the email. I know that I can just grab a copy of the link and hard code it in as an HREF but then what's the point of the calendar token?I've tried editing the color, putting a SPAN around it but it doesn't work. It always defaults to a blue.  Is there a trick to it or is this a limitation?
