HiCan someone help with how & character should be used in AEM sites textual nodes.When text is extracted from AEM through the translation integration framework, & characters are converted to entities (&) in the exported xml. The entities are preserved during translation and imported back into AEM, where the displayed page renders them back to the & character. This all works as expected except for jcr:title and jcr:description, where the entity is retained after translation.Example:Source text:Apples & Pears Extracted xml content: <translationObjectProperties>    <property isMultiValue="false" nodePath="/content/we-retail/language-masters/de/CC_nameV1/jcr:content" propertyName="jcr:title">Apples & Pears</property>  </translationObjectProperties> retruned translation in the AEM title field is: Apples & PearsAEM TIF is not rendering it back to the & characterIs this expected behavio

Hi,  I have a single line text field in my metadata schema editor and I need to know if I can create a new form component that has multiple lines like a text area rather than a single line where you can enter a really long string without a line break. Is that possible to create in /libs/granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/textfield ?

We are using AEM 6.5.10.We are subjecting a custom workflow to couple of pages parallelly using create -> workflow option available at sites.html. And we are supplying the HTML content via FTP path to another application. The content authored is different on both the pages while we subject the workflow (page1 has Text component & page2 has image component).After the workflow is complete, when we check the content in the FTP path both the pages are rendering same content (i.e., both the pages in FTP are rendering me the content from Text component only which is wrong).When we subject the same workflow to a single page, we are able to get the correct content in the FTP path.The problem primarily occurs while we are subjecting the workflow for multiple pages only. Is it right option to subject same workflow parallelly for multiple pages.How do I resolve this problem.Kindly help me out. Thanks in advance !

We are trying to overlay /libs/screens/core/components/page/cq:dialog which is a Screens related page properties in /apps path and it works fine when we check on our local SDK.However, when we deploy to AEM Cloud Dev environment, it fails during the 'Build Image' phase (when custom artifacts are merged with AEM Cloud) with below error:  java.nio.file.NoSuchFileException: output/customer-extract/scripts/target/customer-precompiled-scripts-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT.jar[0m[91m at java.base/sun.nio.fs.UnixException.translateToIOException(UnixException.java:92) at java.base/sun.nio.fs.UnixException.rethrowAsIOException(UnixException.java:111)[0m[91m at java.base/sun.nio.fs.UnixException.rethrowAsIOException(UnixException.java:116) at java.base/sun.nio.fs.UnixFileSystemProvider.newByteChannel(UnixFileSystemProvider.java:219) at java.base/java.nio.file.spi.FileSystemProvider.newOutputStream(FileSystemProvider.java:478) at java.base/java.nio.file.Files.newOutputStream(F

Hi All, I am making a new fragment to help with some code a want to run often. I'm at the point where it should be working but whenever I attempt to reference it in the field I get an error saying "error: TypeError: form1.variables.employeeLookup.employeeLookupMain is not a function". I have no idea what's wrong, I have a decent amount of javascript experience I can't see where I messed up the function. Can anyone help? Applicable code attached below: Code that runs in the field:  form1.formPage.mainSub.initialUserData.empNo::exit - (JavaScript, client) console.log("beggining of exit event"); //xfa.host.messageBox("1"); try{ console.log("before the script call"); var lookupReturn; //lookupReturn = form1.variables[0].employeeLookup.employeeLookupMain(this.rawValue); lookupReturn = form1.variables.employeeLookup.employeeLookupMain(this.rawValue); //lookupReturn = employeeLookup.employeeLookupMain(this.rawValue); console.log("after the script call");

Hi Everyone, I created a custom lucene index on local environment and deploy it to the cloud via ui.apps module. Index definition created on Author instance succesfully. Then i created new version of the index with naming convention. first index name "cqPageLucene-custom-1" and new one's name is "cqPageLucene-custom-2".When i check the sample query on Query Performance-> Explain Query page on author instance. It shows that "cqPageLucene-custom-2" index used to return results. Also our search result page returns the same results. But on publish environment search result page still returns old results. I cannot open Query Performance page on publish environment, it gives 404 not found error. How can i check which index is used on publish instance. And why author and publish instances use different indexes? I check developer console and publish instances also have the "cqPageLucene-custom-2" index definition.

 Hello, I extracted some data on Video Views from a workspace. The totals of video views is lower than the sum you get when looking at the 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% percentages. The percentage values equal more than the video views number (1,143 rather than 1,042).  Is this a bug or any reason why it is like that?

Hi Team,I am facing a weird scenario. When I go to tags inmy AEM console i do nto see any tags are loaded . it is just showign an empty page. Tags are existing in crx/backend but not getting pulled on localhost:4502/aem/tags.DId anybody face this issue?Also, it seems due to above issue , even when I am pulling tags for a particular CF/resource through tag manger API that is also giving me empty list.Plz let me know if any body has seen this and fixed the issue.

Creating multiple transaction message templates seem to be very redundant and manually time consuming activity, Is there a better way to create the templates like EMAIL and SMS specifically by using the APIs. If so, where can I find the relevant documentation? I have so far gone through a few APIs which doesn't seem to be regarding the templates. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

Hey All, I'm trying to understand how best to get number of unique email sends for specific email campaigns (the campaigns may send to the same recipient multiple times which is why I care more about unique than total). My initial assumption that I have been using is to find either the number of unique recipientIDs or broadlogIDs from the nmsbroadlogrcp table that are related to email codes from joining with the nmsdelivery table. The numbers I get seem logical, but I was wondering if there is another accepted way considering the delivery table does provide email send metrics but they seem to be more in line with total emails sent rather than uniques.  Thanks for all the help!!

Hi All, I am trying to run a site audit to understand tagging and variables and where on the site there is no tagging, apart from manually clicking the links on site and understanding from debugger, is there a better way to document this? Any advice is appreciated.

We are setting up SMS and we have Keyword text messages we want to implement. But some of the replay back messages need to have content placed inside of them to fully work.  Example.  Customer text "ID"We replay back with "Account Alerts: Download your ID card at "place content here". Reply STOP to cancel texts " Is there a way to do this or am I going about this wrong?

I have to create Alerts Component using  Content fragments to load Alerts via XF how can I do that ? Thank You

I'm running AEM Forms 6.5 JEE for WebSphere with the latest Service packs and hotfixes.Everything works properly, except that I'm unable to login to AEM start (http://localhost:8080/lc/) with admin credentials when Global security is turned on. I have also installed the aem-websphere-globalsec-config-pkg-1.0.0.zip package.Whenever I try logging in the AEM start (http://localhost:8080/lc/) , the following error is thrown :- Error 500: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Location cannot be null in javax.servlet.http.HttpServletResponse.sendRedirect(location)The following Error is reflected in logs when I try to login in AEM start : After turning off Global Security the login with admin credential works fine. Is there any configuration I am missing on WebSphere or in AEM ConfigMgr ?Note, that AEM start login is working with other users like administrator/or any custom user but the web console is forbidden with 403 error.Thank You in advance.

Hi All, We are using Gson in our AEM code repository but below Gson version 2.8.9 it has a security vulnerability. To fix this we should increase the Gson maven version equal or greater than 2.8.9.In our AEM code repository we tried updating the gson version from 2.8.0 to 2.8.9 along with that we also updated the Junit version from 4.12.0 to 4.13.2 as suggested in maven.Post update of Gson version the code is compiling fine, but Junit test cases are started failing with the below exception. Till Gson version 2.8.8 everything works fine but from version 2.8.9 the Junit started failing.Hoping many of us might be using Gson in code repositories, so anyone who faced this issue and find a fix, kindly let us know.Thanks in advance. Exceptionjava.lang.NoSuchFieldError: FACTORYat com.google.gson.Gson.<init>(Gson.java:200)at com.google.gson.Gson.<init>(Gson.java:174) Maven Dependency<dependency><groupId>com.google.code.gson</groupId><artifactId&gt

Hello community, I do have a few questions related to the target activities in AA.I created a dozen of activities in target, tested with them, waited for a few days already. 1. some activities still don't show up in the dropdown list. Does report suite configuration matter?2. some deleted activities are still shown up in the dropdown list. I would like to get rid of them...3. is there anyway that I can "hide/ignore" the activities from a specific target workspace.
