Solved

Hello AEM Community,We have the problem which I can't understand fully:Was in 6.3:When we were working on AEM 6.3, we were using 2 static templates where some components were allowed:And it was working good. Now in 6.5:According to repository restructure we moved  /etc/designs/default to /apps/settings/wcm/designs/default. As a result the pages created by these templates don't see this path in design mode - /apps/settings/wcm/designs/default. Every change is saved under /libs/settings/wcm/designs/default.But if we return our templated under path - /etc/designs/default, everything works good.So questions are: is it expected behaviour or something is wrong? Which path for static templates should be used: /apps/settings/wcm/designs/default or /etc/designs/default?Thanks.

Hey!here am I with another beginner question..On the home page of our site, we have a field where the user adds their zip code and the API automatically finds our partner that works in the area. There is no submit button, etc.. Talking with the consulting company that implemented Adobe for us, I was told that we can collect the zipcodes that were added in the field using data layer push. However, they didn't leave any documentation about it or specify how to do so. Since I don't have any experience with the data layer, I'm kind of lost. Is there documentation that I can read more about this? How would the data layer be for that case?Additionally, after inserting the zip code, the price of some products automatically appears according to our partner´s price and the user can select quantities of each and move on to the next page. Is there also a way to collect the zip code added, what products were selected, and quantities once they click the next button? I infer this can also be do

Hello! Of the default data columns in the Analytics data feed, which column would show me the source of the visitors? For example, I would like to know if they came via e-mail, search (Google), social, etc. I see that some of the values in the page_url column has UTM parameters--in which case I can refer to the utm_medium. However, I also see that there is a first_hit_ref_domain that shows additional related data. Just a little confused on what I should be looking at.

Hello Community, I would like to understand Magento PWA and Adobe Experience Manager integration. Is it possible to import some Magento PWA resources as AEM Components?Did someone use the Commerce Integration Framework for Magento?I would like to understand better this connector.

I've successfully followed the @SanfordWhiteman method for reCAPTCHA v3 - very thankful for that. Thank you!   We also use SendSafely for document upload, following their guidelines here. The widget.finalizePackage method (API reference) is asynchronous. When trying to use both SendSafely and reCAPTCHA on a form (with the standard code from the links above), we've had trouble with either duplicate leads coming into Marketo, or duplicate form fills for the same lead.   I've tried refactoring the two blocks into one in multiple different ways to resolve the duplicates. The best success I've had is to stop the duplicate, but the reCAPTCHA 'Fingerprint' hasn't made it onto the form (even though it's logging in the console). I'm sure it's something to do with the two async functions resolving at different times, but I only know enough code to be a slightly helpful - not a developer.   Has anyone done something similar before that you could share advice, pseudo-code

I wanted to create a counter that is counting amount of MQLs and I created an internal field for that, however, it won't sum up the global amount of MQLs, only per person. Is there a way Marketo can sum this up as a global counter?

I can see bounces higher than entries in some months for my data. This caused the bounce rate to be more than 100% in such cases. But we know that bounce rate can only be between 0 to 100% and bounces should be less than entries. So what could have caused such an anomaly?

Hello Folks,We are looking at sending emails to a Distribution List (DL) using External Account "Email routing using mid-sourcing (defaultEmailMid)". But seems like we are not receiving any email to DL when fired.I understand DL is nothing but just an ordinary email address which campaign recognizes and previously used to work fine when fired using External Account "Internal email routing (defaultEmailBulk). So we would like to understand is there any specific configuration to be done in order to enable emails on DL via mid-sourcing ?Kindly please help with some insights (or) provide any reference document which talks about it.Thanks,SSB

I have a master form that I use for multiple landing pages. Is there a way to change the submit button's text just for that specific landing page? Is there a script or code that I can drop onto the landing page that will do this?

Why is there a difference between the number of clicks on a download link and the number of downloads from the link??

as above. To better explain the question, I have this example: I have this node (/content/data/marketo/events) of type nt:folder. In CRXDE if I create a new node of type nt:unstructured inside the events folder, I would get an error. Thanks

Hello all,I am in need of some help and am in a hurry.  We have a campaign going out tomorrow and my boss just said he wants to send it out to a random groups that are 10% of the original target list size.  So send to 10% on this day....wait for their instruction and send to the next 10% on which ever day they specify.  So how can I generate random sets of targets from the list into 1/10th of the original target size.  Essentially split the targets into tenths randomly but each tenth cannot contain the same targets as another tenth. Thanks!

Hi Which is the rest api endpoint for user/group management in AEM.

When we rollout language copies from language master, I understand the changes from language master are not synced realtime to its language copies as in live copy. I want to sync the changes from language master into its language copies on demand basis [not using live copies]. On searching for a solution for it, I found a workflow - wcm: sync language copy. I cant seem to get it running properly, it fails with below exception and also I cant find any documents around this workflow. Caused by: com.day.cq.workflow.WorkflowException: Failed to load destination language from payload.at com.adobe.cq.wcm.translation.impl.process.SyncLanguageCopyProcess.execute(SyncLanguageCopyProcess.java:72) [com.day.cq.wcm.cq-wcm-translation:1.6.110]at com.day.cq.workflow.compatibility.CQWorkflowProcessRunner.execute(CQWorkflowProcessRunner.java:93) [com.day.cq.workflow.cq-workflow-impl:6.3.16]... 9 common frames omitted Can anyone help me understand how to use this workflow or any

Is there a way to remove packages from the crx-quickstart/install folder without uninstalling them? Background:We upgrade our AEM instances by copying the service packs to the install folder. If a content package is removed from the install folder, it gets uninstalled and its content is removed. This even happens if the instance is first shut down before the package is removed, after restart the content is gone again. The same happens with a service pack. /productinfo still shows the version of the current service pack, but we can notice that some of the files of the service pack being uninstalled. I assume this means the service pack was partially uninstalled.

I am trying to build automation that will fill out country based on the ccTLD. For example if an email address comes in ending in ".ar" the country will be filled out as Argentina. I'm not seeing anything in Marketo currently that will allow me to sort email addresses by what they end in.

Hi All, We are currently capturing the original source info from our third-party apps via API, however it only shows source as Webservice API. Is there any way we can track the exact source like ex. Cvent, Uberflip, LinkedIN etc.   Thank you, Rohan

Hi there,We have one standard form that we use on multiple Marketo landing pages. We're struggling to find an easy way to customize the submit button on the form and hope someone out there has found a good solution! We'd like to be able to change the look of the button (color and text) from page to page. How could we do that without having to create a new template for every landing page or having multiple forms? In other discussion threads, people have mentioned using tokens, but I don't understand where we place the token initially in order to make this work. We're using Marketo's new guided landing page template feature which is making it much easier for our marketing team to make changes to landing pages, but this is the last piece of the puzzle—thanks in advance for any advice!James

Hi friends,   I have an email where, after the email is sent, the preheader copy displays old copy from an email sent two years ago and the subheader text disappears. In Edit mode, everything looks correct. In preview mode, the subheader text disappears and after being sent the email, some users receive the correct preheader copy and others receive the incorrect copy that pulls from the old email.    There is no dynamic content or tokens in these emails.    Has anyone experienced anything similar? I'm assuming the subheader copy is a CSS issue, but I can't understand why the preheader continues to change, especially with no tokens.   TIA!

I have implemented a component whose HTML should only render when the JS is executed. The JS is triggered when a button is clicked and then it calls a servlet. The servlet in response returns some values which will be needed in the component's HTML. But the problem is the html of the component renders without the JS execution. It does not show any values but markup is present on the page. Next time, when I click on the button, then the actual execution starts. I want that the HTML of the component should only be rendered when the servlet returns the values after the JS execution.
