Hello all, 1. How and where is AEM authenticated?2. Also, when authenticated, how to pass user name and password? Obviously hard coding is not an option.3. How is the session gotten with such authentication passed to other components?4. If I am writing an AEM component, how will I know that AEM was already authenticated? How to get the session? Appreciate all your replies. Thanks,RK.

Hi there, I'm trying to set up an alert that will trigger based on a weighted composition value that is computed. I will include a screenshot of the math using orders, but my use case is looking at total null searches WoW and assigning a weight to how much a specific search term influenced total null searches WoW. As a result, sorting by this weight would show the null searches that should be fixed first and are influencing total null searches the most. The math below says orders for hotels decreased -14,100 WoW vs all departments -68,891 WoW. As a result the decrease in hotel orders is 20.2% of the total decrease. Given all departments decreased -24.3% WoW, hotels made up -4.91% of the total decrease. This would easily translate to null searches where if null searches went up by X%, we'd want to deal with the top Y that are greatly influencing this total number X. I'm confused how to set up an alert for the highlighted column below that will say if any department (or se

In our team, campaign planning happens in Salesforce where details about the url being tracked are entered. These url's then needs to be used to create the Smart lists in marketo. This process is error prone & time consuming. I would like to be able to create a utility that will be a Marketers assistant that will take the URL from Salesforce and generate the Marketo Smart List.I read that this isn't possible today. Is this on the product roadmap by any chance?

When I am installing AEM Forms add ons package, Channel Core Implementation is not getting active. It's in installed state. It is showing msm api dependency missing while I am installing AEM Forms add ons package.com.day.cq.wcm.msm.api,version=[5.9,5.11) -- Cannot be resolvedAnd when I have checked, this version of msm.api dependency is also not there on maven repository.

I wanted to see if anyone has had this issue of Job Roles showing blank boxes for Currency/Override Currency and Cost Per Hour/Cost Per Hour Override when they upload through a Kickstart (or just in general).  I am able to view the information that I entered when I add it to my Job Role View (under Setup) but when I click into the Job Role it is blank. And when I add the Job Role details as a filter to a report it pulls no data through. Tested by manually updating a Job Roles details and I then got a result. Added an image for reference.  I have a ticket into Support, but wanted to see if anyone has run into this and found a solve. Thanks!

As part of the AEMaaCS migration from AEM 6.5 AMS, we have plans to migrate only the assets. AMS pages will consume migrated assets using Dynamic Media with OpenAPI.  1. DM with OpenAPI has TTL of 10 minutes to reflect the changes in the delivery URL - is there a way to reduce this turn around time?  2. Assets using DM with OpenAPI delivery URLs should be approved. It means assets are published. There are use cases where the asset should be published along with the pages and not way ahead. how to avoid this?     - Note: if assets are not approved, delivery URL wont be available on AMS sites to author the images.

Hello We'd like to give some report-like workspace views to users ... that are very simple... much like reports available in Tableau.... and we don't want to go through the hassle of connecting Tableau to Dataviews. Does anyone have experience in creating simple dataviews and workspaces that are the equivalent of Tableau reports???? thanks

I am working on Adaptive form core component (version:1.1.64). I am using grid gap to set the gaps between the form fields, however the components which are set to hide in the form are still taking up spaces. How to replicate the issue: Set hide component using the author dialog:In preview mode: I found that the display: none was set to the component, but not to the component wrapper. I tried to use cq:noDecoration to remove the wrapper element, but it broke the component edit functionality on author. Is there any other way to fix this ?

I have a graphql query which takes IDFilter! as parameter and this works fine in the graphql editor and when i try to request from postman i am getting "Variable 'paths' has an invalid value: Variable 'paths' has coerced Null value for NonNull type 'IDFilter!'"exception. My Graphql Queryquery ($expression:IDFilter!) {internetList(filter: {_path: $expression}) {items {_path}}}Graphql Variables{   "expression":{      "_logOp":"OR",      "_expressions":[         {             "_operator": "EQUALS",            "value":"/content/dam/sample/content-fragments/internet/internet1"         },         {            "_operator": "EQUALS",            "value":"/content/dam/sample/content-fragments/internet/internet2"

Hi Workfront Friends! I'm looking for some text mode assistance. We have a series of projects, all of which contain a task for "Initial Launch". When viewing a report of all of these projects, I would love to be able to have a column with the Planned Start Date of the "Initial Launch" task for each one of these projects. Any suggestions?

I'm hoping someone has a solution they can share! Right now, we are able to have some YoY summary change widgets along with YoY trended line charts based on a key metric summary table. Unfortunately, if someone were to select a different date range in the date selector, the comparison period changes. No longer is YoY the selected option, but it redefaults to "previous period" instead. This causes a lot of confusion if someone was previously looking at YoY but now looking at previous period comparisons after selecting different dates and unable to get back to that YoY comparison.I've included a video of what happens when i change date range from last 90 days defaulted to last 30 days instead. You can see the comparison period in the trended graph line changes to previous period. Any thoughts on a solution to default to YoY comparison regardless of what dates are selected? Any help would be appreciated!

Hi all, just wondering whether it is possible to calculate a dynamic field like the Profile user's age based on his birthday and keeping the value up to date e.g., on a batch update? In other words, a field that is either preprocessed by a job or evaluated on the fly when queried.

During our initial attempt at go live we imported several schemas from our Dev environment and enabled them for profile.  During final validation a major issue was discovered, and we had to do a significant re-architecture.  I am now attempting to migrate in the updated schemas but running into issues as we're overwriting schemas that already exist, so the import is throwing errors.  What is the best way to either remove the existing schemas so I can pull in the new ones, or align the data so they overwrite properly and update to the new structure?

Hi All, 1)I am trying to expose all components on the page in JSON format. When I use OOTB feature pageUrl.model.json, I see a lot of unnecessary data being shown, such as allowed components and other irrelevant details. I want to expose a clean JSON and have already implemented Sling Models using jackson exporter,  However, when I execute pageUrl.model.json, it doesn’t return the custom properties I've added in the Sling Model. On the other hand, when I use componentPath.model.json, it returns all the custom properties from the Sling Model.I'm trying to understand how to expose all component data as JSON via pageUrl.model.json. 2)Additionally, I attempted to create a custom Sling Model for the page component, but this doesn't provide the JSON for all the components within the page. I thought about traversing through each child node and adapting each resource to a Sling Model, but the code below always returns null. The model doesn’t re

if allow.empty is enabled BUT I have entries in allow.hosts.regexp, is my instance still limited to the hosts lin the allow.hosts.regexp list or will the instance accept any request coming from anywhere? Thanks!

Hi, I will apply utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign to my landing pg link that will be converted to a QR code for people to scan.Do I have to create new field values in Marketo for each of these utm parameters to support these efforts? Will be hidden fields in the form. If so, would it be best to create those in our CRM system and then they'd sync down as new field values into Marketo? (using Microsoft Dynamics)Wondering: does Salesforce have those parameters already built in? Thank you.

Hi Everyone,I am trying to use AEM Groovy Console to add a new tag to a page's existing cq:tags property.Below is my code:def page = getPage("/content/mysite/en/sample")def modifiable = page.nodedef tagToAdd = "myproject:custom/tag"def existingTags = modifiable["cq:tags"] ?: []if (!existingTags.contains(tagToAdd)) {existingTags << tagToAddmodifiable["cq:tags"] = existingTags} I expect this to add the tag only if it's not already present. But it doesn't work in some cases - especially when the page already has one tag.Can anyone tell what is wrong?

Does anyone know if there is any risk to data loss if we move projects from one portfolio to another?  Currently our setup is that most projects live under one portfolio and we would like to move projects into portfolios that make more sense (e.g move a project from the Information Services portfolio to the Marketing portfolio).   Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you

I have created a report and added a value expression on a couple columns to truncate the results. The goal is to have less 'scroll' for the user since it a project dashboard with three reports visible. Is there anything I can do that will allow the user to see the full result in the truncated columns if they hover over it? I would like the same experience as when you are hovering over the Project breadcrumbs and it shows you the full Portfolio, Program, etc...name. Thanks!

Hello, We are performing A/B testing on a pair of deliveries and trying to generate a winner delivery for the remaining population after a wait period for feedback. We have followed along with the solution in other Experience League posts, and can generate the delivery within the JS code activity as a copy of the winning test delivery via Duplicate(), post winner decision. The issue that we are encountering is that we happen to use targetData as a source of a number of Target Mappings into broadLogRCP and substitutions into our emails. We haven't had issues with this in the few years that we have been using Adobe Campaign, but this is the first time that we have tried any deliveries from code. All others have explicitly been defined in Delivery activities. In this case, none of the targetData is recognized (we can see it in the transitions) so our broadLogRCP records are mostly empty, aside from Recipient and Delivery references, and our emails are produced with missing conte

My salesforce admin team have created a new object linked to an Opportunity.I wanted to check if this should be visible in Marketo? I have visited the Salesforce Objects Sync following these instructions https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/crm-sync/salesforce-sync/setup/optional-steps/enable-disable-custom-object-sync I have a couple of questions if anyone could assist? 1) If I disable the global sync, I am assuming that the back log will be dealt with, and their will be an option to renable the global sync.2) to refresh the Schema will this be ok to run during the day, is it heavy on calls?3) the schema isn't showing in the search bar, will this new schema appear once I have completed Step5? Just a bit nervous of grinding everything to halt and it not be doing what I'm expecting. thanking you

I have a few scenarios running with the same logic.I get the projects of specific portfolios, then search for documents and apply the metadata. My current challenge is to identify zip files and trigger the action. Any thoughts on how to do it?

Hi, I'm just looking for a steer on the best approach... I want to set up a trigger to listen for changes in an opportunity, and then send an email. This will be a custom field = True and the Stage has changed to Closed Won. What is the best way to identify the recipient. is it best I identify the person and add them to a list and then send the email once they hit the list? Or is the email going to be sent to all the related contacts in Contract roles? The field I need to use are not live in Salesforce yet, so I have limited testing on the actual fields.   Any guidance is very welcome.

I have a below code written in js activity. I need to add 1 hour to the variable currDate. How can I do that? I tried with setHour() and + operator without luck.  vars.currDate = new Date();logInfo("vars.currDate----------" + vars.currDate);

Hi all, For AEM front end coding, I see the predominant use of CRXDE and for back end IntelliJ or Eclipse. Also, we start with an AEM Archetype. 1.In Real AEM Projects also do we start coding with AEM Archetype only?I understand AEM Archetype is a very good starting point for coding, as it complies good coding standards. But AEM Archetype has many components, etc. that we may not need. 2. In case I want to avoid AEM Archetype, what is way out? Appreciate all your replies. Thanks,RK.
