I'm trying to create a custom artwork file name based on the name of the project name entered into our system and reference number. Is there a custom expression I can use to remove the spaces in a project name or replace the spaces with an underscore?

I am trying to delete the references of a component from pages where the component is being used using a Servlet. I have registered the servlet to a path. But when I hit the path I am getting a 405. In Error logs I am getting, "writeuser is not a known JCR system user id and therefore not allowed in Sling user mapper service.". Can someone help me with a code snippet that I can refer for the same.

Hi All,we have requirement that needs to allow only one component for parsys. Generally when we drag a component in parallel it will create one more empty parsys and can create  drag/drop another component but we do not want this behavior. Is there a way to restrict like this??Thanks,Kishore

Hi All, In My application we have lot of external calls which takes more than 2 minutes sometimes to complete. In AEM 6.5 publisher I am not facing any issue. However in dispatcher connection timeout happens exactly in 60 seconds. I could not find any timeout setting in dispatcher where this 60 seconds is configured. I need to set the timeout to 180 seconds. Where should I set the timeout to 180 seconds? so that application external calls can complete the process and user will see the expected result.  Any help is highly appreciated.  Thanks,Pradeep

Suddenly today I cannot remove segment filters I have added to reports. I can replace them but the cross has vanished so I can't delete them if I want to remove a segment filter on a report. This is affecting my colleagues as well. Any idea what might cause this?

Hi there,I was wondering if anyone has ever successfully entered a field input element into the Rich Text editor area of a form. We have a lot of styling with our forms and landing pages that's making this request a nightmare. I just want the checkbox for our opt-in field to be lined up left of "label". This would typically take one minute, but due to all the styling I can't cut one bit of html/css down without having issues pop up elsewhere. This is what I'm trying to do<input name="Marketing_Opt_In__c" id="Marketing_Opt_In__c" type="checkbox" value="yes" class="mktoField" /> I wish to receive future informational and marketing communications. The field shows in the form, but it's not functional. I know this is a wacky way to achieve what I'm trying to do, but I've been on and off this request for far too long and I feel like this is the easiest way to get it done without overhauling all the stylesheets and LP html.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am trying to merge the two XDPs where one is an address fragment and another one is a form. I am using assembler service for the same and am gettting an error as "com.adobe.internal.pdfm.xfa.XFAServiceException: PDFM_S28003: XFA Assembly unable to assemble required XFA Fragment" even after passing the correct fragment name. Can you please help me to figure out this issue?

Hi Team, Here is my use case : There is one address fragment (xdp1) and there is one main form xdp2. Want to merge xdp1 into xdp2 and generate a pdf after merging. How do we do that in AEM Forms? Thank you !

Team, From one of the recent notifications [1] we have came to know that Oracle JDK will no longer be support for AEM/AEM as cloud and this would be soon switched to Azul Zulu OpenJDK. Has anyone experienced switching from Oracle JDK 11 to Azul Zulu OpenJDK for AEM as cloud? Any issues being faced? Appreciate your help.[1] https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/assets/adobe-azul-openjdk-license-agreement.pdf?lang=en

hi all,  what would be the best approach to handle following requirement : We need to have one global website in English and multiple country specific web sites which could be multi language. All examples are showing country/lang specific organization but we could find approach which incorporates global website. I guess for the beginning we should start with archtype, using singleCountry=n   Thank you

Hi,During the implementation of SAML config with AEM, I went through the official documentation but the part that ain't clear about Service provider private key and chain certificate. From where can we get it?Is it going to be from AEM side or Okta?Could you please provide clarification on it?Best regards,Himanshu Singhal

Ok bear with me here...Row percentages with in a breakdown seem require the full metric field to be included in order to be calculated across the row. Otherwise it calculates across the entire report. Why does the system generated percentages not match the calculated percentages? Within a breakdown, the system generated ROW percentages are actually percentages of the higher level dimension for that specific day. See screenshots below... i.e. Reference and Tools breakdown for Sept 1... Aud Non Registered User Page Views shows a ROW percentage of 25.6%. That is NOT 25% of page views on 9/1 within the reference pillar. Its actually shows that the 811K page views are 25.6% of the entire page views for the entire day. (see 2nd screenshot to compare) 811,220 / 0.2561058 = 3,168,828 (This is the total page views across the site for 9/1 NOT for just the parent row) Non Reg + Reg PV = 811,220 + 841,128 = 1,652,348 - This matches the total page views for the referen

Hi Team, Does anyone know if we can setup a destination via Audience Manager to Pinterest? Thanks

As per my understanding, we need to have the trait key name and value in place in AAM even though if we use regex to consider “ALL” (i.e.: .*) . Highlighted below. Assume that, we have sent only 3 different dealcode trait key value to AAM but wanted to exclude those 3 key value but need to include rest of the new upcoming key value. Scenario:We would like to consider all users falls under dealcode by using regex .* and at the same time exclude the users with the specific value(“yaa|abc|tst”)

Hello experts! I am trying to capture a simple value from my data layer into an eVar. It is part of any array and does not produce any results only "Unspecified"  the path is data.page.category.categories[1]  as you see i need the value from the 1 of the array but it does not fetch any results. Other data layer objects are fine. What is the trick to fetching this array value?  I have tried variations such as data.page.category.categories.1page.category.categories[1]etc... to no avail.  Any suggestions? It seems it ought to be fairly straightforward and not require custom code, right?

My understanding is that when a visitor goes to our site (with Adobe Data Collection/Analytics), the Adobe software looks for an Adobe cookie. If there is one found it means that cookie was created previously and an ECID already exists for that visitor (or technically the browser/device). If there isn't one found, a new cookie is created. Each ECID is a unique identifier for a unique browser/device.How is it possible that in Workspace I see ECIDs that have more than one Unique Visitor count? In essence, isn't the Unique Visitor a count of unique ECIDs? Or am I misunderstanding this? Not all ECIDs in Workspace have more than one Unique Visitor. The majority have a 1:1 ECID vs Unique Visitors but there are some that have more than 1 Unique Visitor count for 1 ECID. eVar11 is the ECID in the screenshot.

Hello Everyone, We are capturing event data from our website using AEP Web SDK [via launch]. The data captured in data elements is mapped to Adobe Analytics fields  like eVars via XDM object. I can see all the eVars populated correctly in AEP debugger under events. However I randomly see many eVar values missing under profile of a user [email address as identity] in RTCDP. Does anyone has any idea about probable cause for this issue or a way to fix it. On a different note, how can I have this unified data for customer profile visible in CJA. Currently I can see the data fragmented but not related and so can not frame a full journey of customer in CJA. For example I can see dimension 1 and dimension 2 for a particular email id separately but cannot map dimension 1 & 2 together with the email id. Thanks

We have various permission groups in our AEMaaCS Assets and would like to allow our editors to create new image profiles but not give them full admin access. That said applying admin access so far appears to be the only way to give a user this level of permission. Can someone confirm this or provide alternatives to try.

Hello Everyone,I just wanted to throw a question on REST API implementation here. We have a third-party REST API that returns data needed for our website's couple of pages. I am not sure which REST Client to use or how to implement one in terms of AEM development. So, I am just seeking some guidance here. Additionally, we have authentication credentials for different environments to access the API. Where should I store those credentials so that it stays secured and won't get compromised.Continuing the above, we want to build a component that displays those data. We want to have an authoring dialog where the author can select a location from the pre-populated list, and that component will bring data for that particular location only (once authored). With this, how the overall setup should look like? Also, how would I build (if possible) a caching mechanism so that it doesn't make API calls for the same set of parameters repeatedly?Any suggestion here will be appreciated. Thank you!

We have a JBoss environment running AEM 6.5.In our implementation, we are trying to send an email, but we are encountering the linkageerror with the com.sun.mail classes. We did find this suggested fix (https://helpx.adobe.com/aem-forms/kb/day-cq-mail-service-not-working-forms-jee.html), but for some reason this doesn't work for us. Is this fix still valid for an AEM 6.5 environment, or should we do something else?

Hi All,We have recently installed AEM 6.5 JEE on WebSphere and deployed few HTML5 forms on the server. However when we are trying to render the forms we are facing layout issues, The same form works fine on the older version(6.3) of AEM JEE forms. Can Please someone let me know if there are any additional configuration we need to make or update in crx/de or profiles to resolve this issue or if this is something related to the forms and not the application. The issue is mostly happening with the dynamic forms with multiple add and remove features. Thanks

Hi All, I am working on a project where we are creating dynamic Adaptive forms. The adaptive form has multiple questions and based on the options you selected on the first screen the rest of the questions are derived. We have a requirement to put Static text (disclosures, information etc) on the questions based on the selection from the first page. For example, it could be a information text such as - "You credit card allows you to withdraw $10000 a month" . Here the $10000 must be populated from value selected from first page. In Lifecycle designer we use something like Floating Fields. Do we have something similar in Adaptive forms? Thanks
