There is requirement to restrict a user to get one email per delivery campaign. the solution what i have currently working is to use typology rule as marketing do not have to worry about it to put code in each campaign to check for it. we have multiple delivery in one single campaign what happening the filter typology is currently removing all the recipient who have been contacted that  particular delivery template. Unable to get the current delivery into typology as well as association of recipient with the current delivery template. Any help appreciated.

We have existing marketing channels and associated processing rules setup in several reporting suites that I want to overwrite/update. In a separate reporting suite, I created a new set of marketing channels and successfully copied them to the reporting suites that had existing marketing channels that I want to overwrite. It added the new channels and disabled (although did not remove) the old marketing channels in that reporting suite. When I go to copy over the marketing channel processing rules into the same reporting suite, I get the following error (below). Any suggestions? You cannot change the channel rules in this section because the following reporting suites do not match the templates channel configuration.

Hello everyone, I have two different OSGi-Configurations. One shall be used for the productive system, the other configuration for all other environments (like dev and integration system). The plan is to deploy these settings to the right environment through configration files. The needed folder structure was already existent in the repository I am working with (like "config", "config.prod", "config.prod.publish", "config.dev" and so on.....) I have placed the .conf files in the right folder structure: "config.prod" for the productive data and in "config" for all the other environments.  The runmodes for the author of the productive system are: "author,prod,crx3,crx3tar". As you can read in the documentation the configuration folder that matches the most runmodes will be used to lookup the .conf file. In this case this is clearly "config.prod". But after deployment I find the configuration that was placed into "config" on the productive System (system/ConfigMgr

I am currently trying to set up an Alert activity that automatically picks up the operator that has executed the workflow and selects him as assignee of the Alert. The problem I am facing is that the Alert doesn't recognise any JS variable or instance variable (error: parameter not defined in the current context) , same happens with instance.currentOperator.name .  Do you know how could I could set this up in order to make it work? Any workarounds? It would also be OK for me to select the creator of the workflow instead of the executioner.  Thanks for the help!

Hi, I have a question, we can create Experience Fragments in AEM and can export to Adobe Target to use them as offers, Question:? the same can be applied to AEM forms? can EF can be created for AEM forms and can be exported to Adobe Target? Thanks for the needful.

Dear All, Very weird thing is happening with our AEM forms environment post upgrading from AEM 6.5.4 to 6.5.11.  Whichever application having templates/forms/fragments leveraging "floating field" option to dynamically display the values have gone berserk. This is what is happening (explaining with sample): Content snippet: Hello {employeeName}, you have been promoted to {position}. Your package will be {salary}.In AEM 6.5.4 (applications are well deployed in production and running), the above text appears as:Hello Sunder Singh, you have been promoted to CTO. Your package will be $1.5 billion. Post upgrading to AEM 6.5.11, the text appears as:Hello Sunder SinghNothing appears after the line is encountering the first floating field. We are able to replicate this from within designer too. We opened the form, gave default value to employee name field as "Sunder Singh" and opened HTML preview. Exact same thing is happening. Pl suggest if anyone has any idea or

Hi,i have a custom component that allows users to save custom html/css/js. The problem is that i cannot save any component having this string into a textfield or textarea: substr()Network response:If i remove substr() it can be saved. Is there some security checks done on strings when saving content? how can i save such a string? It works with core components, so i guess it can be saved somehow. Thanks for the help!

Hi, Please help me on implementing analytics tracking for Adaptive forms.I tried by adding launch script in adaptive form but no use with that.  Thanks in advance.

for AEM components it is possible to set the wrapper elements markup via the `cq:htmlTag` > `cq:tagName` attribute. e.g. `cq:tagName = "ul" `.But when i set its value to a custom element. e.g. `cq:tagName = "my-teaser" `, then the wrapper element is not rendered. Is there a workaround for this issue?

I have a set of new i18n keys which will have translations in a couple of languages and I want to move all the new keys to a higher environment(Production).I want to know the best possible way to do this migration. As this has to be done on Production and there are a lot of keys, we want to do it on a lower environment and then migrate the keys to Production. It would be helpful if I get some suggestions on best practices to move the i18n keys.

Hi All,Somehow I was able to extend the OOTB responsivegrid component in my AEM SPA architecture. So now I have a draggable parsys component which looks something like below. I want to have two place holders but it doesn't work. Following code I am using:mport React, { Component } from "react";import {ResponsiveGrid, MapTo, withComponentMappingContext} from "@adobe/cq-react-editable-components";require('./MyGrid.scss');export class MyGrid extends ResponsiveGrid {/*** The attributes that will be injected in the root element of the container** @2527888 {Object} - the attributes of the container*/get containerProps() {let containerProps = super.containerProps;containerProps.className = (containerProps.className || '') + ' MyGrid ' + this.props.gridClassNames;return containerProps;}render() {return (<div {...this.containerProps}>{ super.childComponents }{ super.placeholderComponent }</div>)}}MapTo('wknd-events/components/content/mygrid')(withComponentMappingContext(MyGrid)

We had a requirement wherein it was required for us to do the customization of OOTB Breadcrumb CIF component. As OOTB Breadcrumb CIF component internally inherits Breadcrumb Core component, it was using Sling Delegation Pattern for the same. But now, when we tried to using the same logic and use Delegation Pattern for our custom breadcrumb component which inherits OOTB Breadcrumb CIF component, it has started to give us a Null object for the same. Below are the levels of inheritance we are following:CustomBreadcrumbImpl <- CIF BreadcrumbImpl <- WCM BreadcrumbImpl Below is the code snippet through which I am trying to access the object.import com.adobe.cq.commerce.core.components.models.breadcrumb.Breadcrumb;@Model(adaptables = SlingHttpServletRequest.class, adapters = { Breadcrumb.class,CustomBreadcrumb.class }, defaultInjectionStrategy = DefaultInjectionStrategy.OPTIONAL, resourceType = "project/components/commerce/breadcrumb")public class CustomBreadcrumbImpl imp

Hi All, I am trying pull data from VRS ( I have admin access for this)  using Adobe Analytics API ,but It is showing I don't have access the VRS when I am calling the API.  Here I am using JWT Authentication method to achieve it. Please let me know if you have any idea on this error ? or do I need to use OAuth method ?

On idea: I'd like more control over how and when data elements are evaluated. Issue:You have a data element that accesses an object/property: "page.name[0].length"If that object or property doesn't exist (or you know it will show up later), JS throws undefined errors as soon as the page loads. Idea:If I could say something like "delay initial execution" - and in theory what it would do is only evaluate the DE when it's called upon in a rule, that might help.  The rule could be based on a Custom Event or a Direct Call, where I know the object is present

Happy New Year!! I have a scenario where I am connecting to HR data to search for terminated users and deactivate them in WF. The process itself is very simple, but I am running into an issue with the 2000 maximum search limit. We have over 2000 users, so basically the functionality works, but only for the first 2000 users. I am guessing I am missing something silly that will allow me to search all users, but I am not sure what I am missing. Use Case:Pull all HR user records and then search WF for user records that do not match and deactivating those users. Thanks!!

Hello All, We are experiencing an issue related to cq-msm-lockables only on PROD environment. The inheritance chain icons are not coming for any of the page properties (In live-copies). The same is working on other local environments like DEV/STAGE and even on local vanilla instances as well. Did anyone experienced similar kind of issue? ** AEM Version 6.5.9-1** No errors in console as well as in error logs** Inheritance functionality is working only the chain icons corresponding to the page properties is not coming. Any pointers on this would be really appreciated!!Thanks in Advance!! Regards,Tanika

When you upgrade AEM AaCS environment, do you always have to take the very latest update or is there a way to choose? If you have to take the latest, then what is the best practice for testing the update through the environments.  With the mini releases, how can you be sure by the time you get to actually upgrading production, that it is the same version that was tested throughout the process?
