Solved

Hi there.   I recently encountered a situation where a lead was navigating through our website but the visitWebPage and clickLink events were not being recorded as activities in the activity log. I checked into the browser configuration and confirmed that: the JS was configured correctly and clickLink and visitWebPage events were being POSTed to Marketo Do Not Track was OFF I expected the events to flow into the activity log. Upon further investigation, I realized that the CURRENT token value for the user was not recorded in the cookies value on the lead record. (I tested this using postman). Lots of other token values were there, but not the current one. I followed the advice on this post and filled out a form as this user: Solved: When does a Cookie meet and match it's lead? - Marketing Nation (marketo.com. I can see in the cookie is sent in the form submit, but the cookie was not updated on the lead record:   After this, I used the associate.json endpoint to m

I would like to be able to update the Cause field for blacklisting, but it isn't available in the Change Data Value flow item.

Hi All, What is the best practice to minify JS/CSS file in AEM6.4.2.In our case there there two applications are running on same AEM instances and one of the application(First) is not using AEM minification  that's why they have disabled "minify" option on configuration level. They( First Application) want to use WebPack to minify JS/CSS because some of the pages of there application is breaking by using AEM minify option. But in our application( second) AEM minify is working fine. Just want to check what is the best practice here, do I need to implement WebPack also in my application( second) or can I continue with AEM minify option(CQ Html Library Manager). Regards,

I've to do some benchmark between Spartacus and AEM , advantages and disavantages , pros and cons . Could you share some material ?  I need some support to defend that AEM is good enough  . I know that there are several articles comparing the both solutions but maybe there is some best benchmark overview (pros and cons) unifying it better .Thanks in advance,

Need to integrate Adobe Analytics into our mobile app, which is built on Ionic Capacitor. If there's a git repo or npm install commands available or can be referenced to, that would be fantastic. Thank you so much!

- We set an email program in Marketo. - We set a "From" email and a different one for a "Reply-to" email. - The "From" email is getting the replies.   Anyone knows why it's happening?

Hi Experts, How can we configure ACS to allow the customer to select dynamic content to send personalized messages based on the client's tags? Here is the use case: if a client is tagged "Apple," "Wine," and "Sport," and each tag corresponds to two recommended products, the client will receive a personalized email with information from six recommended products, such as product name, product image, price, redirect URL, and so on. We can assume that "user and tag mapping data" and "product information data" and "tag and product mapping data" have been imported into ACS already. Regards,Jaman

Hi, I'm building a workflow that first prompts the initiator for assignee and stores it in the payload node.  The next step is Dynamic Participant step, and we have a ParticipantChooser (implements both ParticipantStepChooser and ParameterizedParticipantService) class that retrieves the value from payload node, and assigns the workflow accordingly.  In this ParticipantChooser, it first attempts to resolve the payload itself.  Here is sanitized code, note the comments:public String getParticipant(WorkItem workItem, WorkflowSession workflowSession, MetaDataMap metaDataMap) throws WorkflowException { WorkflowData workflowData = workItem.getWorkflowData(); if (workflowData.getPayloadType().equals(PayloadMap.TYPE_JCR_PATH)) { String path = workflowData.getPayload().toString(); ResourceResolver resourceResolver = workflowSession.adaptTo(ResourceResolver.class); // path is correct Resource resource = re

All,  I have a use case where I need to implement a custom feature in asset share search page. Use case : I need to apply search filtering at page loading, if I have a suffix in the URL, for example : en/mediacenter.html/Image/Rolex => filter assets with a tag : Rolex.  The solution I figured out, is to implement a Sling servlet filter, to intercept the request, if I have the suffix then I create a predicate and call the search model otherwise do nothing and proceed with normal processing.  I have two questions : what do you think about this solution ? do you have better suggestions ? I stated implementing a sling servlet filter, but my request is never intercepted by my filter. Here is my code snippet : @8220494 @SlingServletFilter( scope = {SlingServletFilterScope.REQUEST}, resourceTypes = {BrandFilterServlet.RESOURCE_TYPE}, pattern = "content/assetshare/.*", extensions = {"html"},

Hi Community,I have trouble retrieving information from a data element.I try to retrieve the value of the "condition" variable of my products in a data element "Adobe Analytics - Product - Condition".Here are some screenshots to explain what I did:            Here is the custom code inside:Returns 1 if the value is "new", else if it's "used" return 0.  var productCondition; switch (true){ case (digitalData.product[0].attributes.condition === "new"): productCondition = 1; break; case (digitalData.product[0].attributes.condition === "used"): productCondition = 0; break; } return productCondition;     What I can see from the console is the following: First I tested the code itself. Then I just tried to call my Data Element.I'm getting the expected result with the code, but when I call the Data Element, it says it's likely setup incorrectly.I don't get why.

I would like to send an update to all people with planning licenses, can this be done? Or all workers? We are new to Workfront and there are things I would like to share without updating our Work Instructions, and not all things pertain to all users. Thanks!

Hello,I'm trying to build an integration with AEM that allows managing assets via Assets HTTP API.Is there any way to get access not to my AEM instance, but to another user's instance? The user can give the URL of the instance inhttps://author-p#####-e#####.adobeaemcloud.com format (not local instance) and login via Oauth or Basic auth. I cannot get the service credentials, obviously. The application can download images from Assets or upload them. Thanks in advance.

We are trying to leverage aem personalization for content targeting using contexthub targeting engineOn authoring its working fine but on publish site I'm getting 403 error due to wrong path to target experience.  Wrong path  : https://www.samplesite.ca/en/personalization-page/_jcr_content/root/responsivegrid/banner.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html.default.html Should be  : https://www.samplesite.ca/en/personalization-page/_jcr_content/root/responsivegrid/banner.default.html Does anyone know any possible root cause or faces similar issue in past? Let me know if you need any further information.

The Adobe Experience Platform Debugger is a great tool for use on a website, but does it also work for apps? If it works on app, does anyone have any advice on how to best use it in a practical way, to test & validate tags etc? (This is a non technical / non IT developer asking - I'm interested in knowing if there is a (simple) way to replicate an app experience in a browser in conjunction with the debugger tool; in the same way that one would typically use the debugger for a website). Thanks!

So I'm trying to build a segment using the Region dimension to group them together to create wider geographical regions. Usually I would use the "equals any of" or "contains any of" operators and add in the list but I am only able to select standard operators: equals, does not equal, exists, does not existIs there a way I can get the extra operators added in?

Hi all,I was wondering what is the limit to adding number of conditions to a segment. We have a bots exclusion segment that I update every week and keep adding conditions based on bot activity to exclude this traffic from our VRS. I want to know if there an upper limit to how many conditions can be built within a segment? Currently there are 30-40 conditions already and this segment will keep growing. Thank you

How to invoke transaction api in Workflow to trigger Emails

Hi all,    I have one investigation requirement to check if there is a way to access Assets api from Jira or other external projects. When I am looking into firefly project, it looks like it is feasible. But, I cannot find any useful docs. Any suggestions?    Thanks.

Hi all, We are currently looking for a solution to deliver personalized (targeted) content to different native apps. https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/contexthub_personal_exfragments.html seems like a good match, but it doesn't show how to expose the personalized experiences through Content Services when using a headless setup. How can I expose all different experiences through the page's model.json, so the native app can select the appropriate experience? Kind regards Wim

I am using guide drop down list in AEM adaptive forms and it is working fine in general but when I pass the query parameter in URL for the value of same field, the form opens & it selects that option in the dropdown which we have passed in query parameter in UI but if I click on submit to submit the form data, it shows an error msg which I have entered in "Required Field Message". As per my understanding while using query parameter guide drop down list is not able to select the option provided in query parameter as value in backend. I tried several things but not able to resolve this issue, Kindly let me know if you can help.Views

Hello Team, Can anyone please tell me, other than Azure, what other Cloud platform Adobe can host Adobe Experience Platform? For example: AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud etc. If customer have preference to have AEP hosted in other cloud platforms, then what would be options? Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi there,    Question for you all. We currently have global forms set up. For example, we have 1 form for all our gated content. We're experimenting moving off Marketo landing pages & I had a question for you all about possible loss of functionality.    When I'm setting up a Marketo landing page, I can 2x click on the form and from the pop-up set the subsequent URL that I want the page to load post form submit.    If I'm using a global gated content form on non-Marketo landing pages - do I lose the functionality?     Thanks!

Hi,I have a requirement to limit the min & max file size of assets which I can upload to DAM. I found two possible possible solution:http://experience-aem.blogspot.com.br/2014/12/aem-6-sp1-classic-ui-restrict-large-or-small-files-upl...But it is related to classic-UI, and I'd like to restrict that for all interfaces(Touch, Classic, WebDav.), is this configurable? Does anybody have some suggestions for this requirement? And for Touch UI: but it seems working for only maximum file size not minimum.I want for example: Image size : min-2MB and Max 8Mb. Video : min-2MBand Maxi 50MB, something like this. Thanks,Gyanendra
