Hello Community members -I have to check the feasibility of parsing PDF Asset conent and export it in json format.I have had a task to expose custom component's node properties like Question and Answer and their values, capture them and export them in json format, this have been achieved using a slingServlet and querybuilder. However to achieve similar task for PDF type of DAM Assets, where I need to parse the content for the plain text like "Question" and "answer" and parse related values to export them in json format. Reference PDFs can be big in size and is not just limited to a simple "Q & A " sheet, can have more headings, paragraphs, images, links etc. and There could be multiple such reference pdfs on the page component. Really appreciate any assistance, pointers, references please.

I am trying to enable the Handle advance option in the Goto Step but when I try to add this in the workflow it is adding the property PROPERTY_AUTO_ADVANCE as "false" by default. I modified the value to "true" and synched the workflow but still it is not working and Goto step is waiting for a confirmation to proceed.

Hi all, Hope you are doing well. I am trying to solve one problem using Velocity to Display " Hi Member" instead of Name  in First Name field when it consists of multiple names.  Example : Rodney William Hydes I was thinking to use length check but we don't know the max chars that can be input in this field. So if it is just one input and length is more than 2 then I have used the code to display the name by taking the index at 0. However, it seems like I would need another condition when length is greater than 2 and then find a solution to display Hi Member instead of name if its not in one string. Any inputs will be appreciated. Hope it is not confusing.   Kind Regards, Vidhi

Hello Masters of Adobe, While I am trying to decipher the conundrums of Adobe logic and create specific workflows, I am curious if this is doable? Requirements:a) Workflow filter/filters that will analyze a URL link in the newsletter that was clicked.b) If not, re-send the email with the link to those who did not click.c) Automatically save the list with users that did not click. Please, let me know if you have any ideas or hints that you can share. Any info will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you,

Hi everyone,I'm new to Adobe Campaign Manager and I'm trying to use dynamic date in the email subject and email body. By dynamic date I meant is - days in month followed by month name - i.e. 30 September, 31 October and so on. Also, needs to consider February as a special case. Can anyone please tell me how I can do this in the email template? I can create HTML file and use javascript within the HTML but I'm not sure whether it is permissible to use such HTML as email delivery HTML in ACM. Also, what can be done for subject line with such dynamic date ? Your help and guidance will really help me.

Hi folks,I need to give jcr:read access on certain nodes in /apps directory to anonymous user on AEM publish instance. In AEM as a Cloud Service, I don't have the permissions to access user management console and unable to give permissions manually.I tried repoinit to grant the permissions.  set ACL on /apps allow jcr:read for anonymous end However, the code pipeline gives error during deployment as below. DD.MM.YYYY 04:00:04.307 *ERROR* [Apache Sling Repository Startup Thread #1] com.adobe.granite.repository.impl.SlingRepositoryManager Exception in a SlingRepositoryInitializer, SlingRepository service registration aborted java.lang.RuntimeException: Failed to set ACL (javax.jcr.PathNotFoundException: Cannot set ACL on non-existent path /apps) AclLine ALLOW {principals=[anonymous], privileges=[jcr:read]} Can you please suggest a resolution for this?Note - I am able to give these permissions on my local which fixes the actual issue we are facing. Regards,Anubha

All,Trying to confirm my understanding1. What is the difference between has() and find()2. If no search strategy is selected what is the default set?$(resource).has(foundation/components/richtext) vs  $(resource).searchStrategy(SearchStrategy.DFS).has("dam:Asset:first")3. Using searchstrategy on a large sub tree throws "SlingQuery Number of processed resources exceeded 100. Consider using a JCR query instead of SlingQuery." Thanks

We are in process of migrating site to AEM. Would be interested in anyone else's experience of using Executable Campaign to send an email.  Use case is an auto-response type email e.g. fills out a form, trigger campaign in program sends email from design studio using my.tokens to populate name of content and link to content in email (for example).  We have this currently working across all campaigns; but if I want to change what email is being sent e.g. one based on a new template, I have to change each individual program.   Given that executable campaigns support my.tokens and you can use the parent campaign context I figured we could have one executable campaign which was called by each content program.  If we needed to build a new email, such as for when a new email template is built, we can then just change the email in one place rather than in every flow where that email is called.  The current method we have means its easy to change the email, but not if a template change is required.   Howeve

Hello AEM Community, AEM - 6.5 Could you please share ideas / best practises how to implement the following solution on AEM pages: We need a component with 2 parsyses - "preview content" and "exclusive content". "preview content" should be visible for all users."exclusive content" should be hidden from anonymous users and instead of it they should see "sign-in" form. And authenticated users should see exclusive content fully. Users are not associated with aem, but with another service where they are registered and stored. Thanks.

Hi fellow community members, I am new at this community and I would like to ask few basic questions as I am still learning. So far, I've installed AEM 6.5 server installed on my machine. Now, how can I create my first AEM Adaptive form?  Your guide will be appreciated!

Hi all. I am returning to Marketo after several years working with Eloqua. One thing we desperately need that Eloqua has that Marketo doesn't apparently is having wait lists for Events. We have events throughout the year where we are limited in the number of people we can have attend. We have a 15-city tour coming up which would be very cumbersome to manage manually and would love some way to automate the procedure and once the attendance cap is reached people get put on a wait list and are sent an email saying the event is full. If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Is it possible to use a date wildcard in Fusion. For instance, if I wanted change the planned start date of a task to 3 days from today, or maybe backdate a project start date to last week? Can we use the date/time functions to do this?

I have created the above launch. how should I view launch whenever I go in crx(/content/launches/2021/10/18/test_page) and double click it opens page which is empty. I tried changing it to publish mode as well by changing 4502-> 4503

I think there must be a solution for this, but because I am new to Marketo I don't always know the best way to approach a request.   I need to build a form which has a multiple select check box. [To be used at an event to be able to send content that is relevant in a follow up email] - is this possible.   The fields would only be in Marketo, not linked to CRM.  Can I build a workflow that identifies if the box has been checked to send the information.   Would it have to be a separate email for each option? Or could it be dynamic?   Any advice, direction appreciated. Thanks 😊

Hello Everyone,We added  /apps/cq/Page/POST.jsp which has AEM forms specific logic to fetch "authToken" and forward request using blow line of code:slingRequest.getRequestDispatcher(currentPage.getPath() + ".html", options).forward(requestWrapper, response); After adding above logic in /apps/cq/Page/POST.jsp we are unable to create Content Fragment model and observed below error in error.log.In UI showing "Server Error" in popup after providing content fragment model name and click on Create button.Cannot serve request to /mnt/overlay/dam/cfm/models/console/content/createmodelwizard.html/conf/dam/cfm/models/console/content/createmodelwizard/_jcr_content in /apps/cq/Page/POST.jspError.log: *ERROR* [10.30.61.188 [1634180746592] POST /mnt/overlay/dam/cfm/models/console/content/createmodelwizard.html/conf/dam/cfm/models/console/content/createmodelwizard/dam/cfm/models/console/content/createmodelwizard/_jcr_content HTTP/1.1] org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingRequestProces

HI there!I want to analyze a recent site update with 3 time periods: Since refresh: Refresh day (fixed) to yesterday (rolling) Prior to refresh: Days prior to refresh that matches the "since refresh timeframe" (rolling) to Day prior to refresh day (fixed)if the refresh happened 5 days ago, I'd want this time frame to be 5 days long today and tomorrow, when the refresh happened 6 days ago I'd want this time frame to update to 6 days priorRefresh Year ago period: Year ago refresh day (fixed) to comparable number of days since refreshif the refresh happened 5 days ago, I'd want this time frame to be 5 days long today and tomorrow, when the refresh happened 6 days ago I'd want this time frame to update to 6 days prior I created 3 custom time periods that I am using as rows in a free form table. Hi everyone,   We are embarking on an instance copy as we need to switch CRM integrations. I am looking for information or suggestions to reduce or eliminate duplication of emails sent to contacts from an engagement stream. The activity history is not copied over, so if we can only upload the contacts, everyone would start at the beginning of the streams again based on their areas of interest. Many have already been exhausted with the current content and will only receive a new email from a stream when we add new content. We have 10+ engagement programs with 4-10 emails each.    Has anyone ever gotten around this limitation before so that leads were not restarting in the streams?    Thank you!

In serverConf.xml, there are three different configuration values for timeouts in authentication section [1]:longSessionTimeOutSecsecurityTimeOutSecsessionTimeOutSecCan someone explain the difference between those three and in which scenario they apply? Thanks and BRSebastian [1] https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/campaign-classic/using/installing-campaign-classic/appendices/the-server-configuration-file.html?lang=en#authentication

Hi all, I have accidentally changed the UI for a Campaign in Adobe Campaign Classic and don't know how to switch it back. Please can someone advise on how to fix this? Normally I would expect it to look like the following image, with a workflow preview and drop down lists of nodes: However, when I enter the Campaign I've changed, I just get list previews:
