We have an upgraded AEM version 6.4.8.4 and still have a  lot of  pages built from classic templates.  We now have a growing number of pages built from touch UI templates.  We have this request from authors to have the smarts to open a page correctly on either the classic or touch ui mode. We cannot set the authoring mode site-wide nor by user preference.  We are trying to see if we can extend this authoring mode service to look at the template of the page and set the mode to touch or classic accordingly.  How should I go about this implementation?

Hi all,I have been building my AEM 6.0 dev site for years without any related issues as the following. I always run the build command as:mvn -Pinstall -Pinstall-publish clean installIt basically builds the package to the author and publisher the same time. It has been working since the morning but all of a sudden it stopped working. The error is: [INFO] --- content-package-maven-plugin:0.0.20:install (install-content-package) @ base-content ---[INFO] Installing base-content (/Users/kevintan/workspace/aem60/aem-accessibility/aem/content/target/base-content-4.4.1-AS-SNAPSHOT.zip) to http://123.45.67.89:4502/crx/packmgr/service.jsp[ERROR] Request failed: com.day.jcr.vault.packaging.PackageException: org.apache.jackrabbit.vault.packaging.PackageException: javax.jcr.RepositoryException: OakName0001: Invalid namespace prefix([, stFNT, pmtm, creatorAtom, def, adhocwf, mediapro, Image, xmpPLUS, Item, dex, xml, xmp, viewerpreset, prism, crss, GIMP, pdfaSchema, xmpDM, stArea, fpoinfo, xmpMM

I have a filter set up on a task report for planned start date this week but it is pulling tasks back into 2017. Any ideas what could cause this?

Hello experts, We are looking to replace all jpg on our site to WebP to improve page load time. We do not have SmartImaging module, so would like to know if there's any quick and easy way for us to bulk replace the files (keeping the same file name, but different file extension) with out having to unlink & relink all files? Thank you!

Hi,When creating a live copy in AEM 6.5, the property sling:vanityPath doesn't get copied. The OSGI configurations "Day CQ WCM Rollout Manager" and "CQ MSM Content Copy Action" are supposed to filter all the sling:* props, but still, only vanity seems to be excluded. Is there a special configuration that explains this behavior ? how can we get vanity to get copied for the live copy ?Thanks,

Hi All,We have a form that was developed by one of my teammates. The QR code box turns grey once the user types in the Date field (or any fields connected to the collection related to the QR code). The problem is that this issue does not occur for a couple of us but it does for others. So I'm trying to figure out what the difference is between us. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I have included a screenshot below of what it looks like and have uploaded the files if anyone want to take a stab at it. There are two files located here:https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1cGttqWp0lzAagL44zXQ9D-BSzTfPRXBM?usp=sharingOC 107 - the two fields connected to the QR code are the Date Submitted and EIDBoBS 120 - just the Date field is connected to the QR code.Below is the screenshot from my teammate. This is what is happening on her computer where mine is working just fine. Thank you!

Hello! We are working on our first webinar with Marketo. I have downloaded the plug-in for GoToWebinar and it's synced up correctly. I have the emails, landing pages, and form ready to go. I have the registration confirmation email set to send 3 minutes after someone registers (through the Marketo form on a Marketo LP). This email contains their unique URL to attend the webinar.    My question is this - if we have the automatic approvals turned off in GoToWebinar (meaning we have to manually approve regsitrants), is that going to mess up my flow?  The unique URL can't be sent back to Marketo unless the person is approved in GoToWebinar, right?  My campaign is this:  Smart List - Fills out registration form Flow - Change Prog Status to Registered Flow - Wait 3 mins Flow - Send confirmation email with unique webinar URL I don't know how often our admin will be approving registrants. How would I set the flow up to send the confirmation email once the registrant

Hi All,I added "granite:class" property to a text field in a component dialog. I made this field of type "String" and "Multiple". Added 2 class names to this fields, saved the changes and checked my page. I could only see the first class name. I wanted to know if "granite:class" is always a single value? And, how can I have more than 1 class added to it.Thanks!

Hello everyone,  I need to create two image uploads in my hero image component. Both need to be drag and drop images. 1. Background image for the hero image2. A logo image on top of the background image. (Which can be multiple) I used sling:resourceType= "granite/ui/components/foundation/form/fileupload"  for the hero background image and sling:resourceType="cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/fileupload" for the logo image.  They both worked in the dialog ( I can drag and drop the images there). However, when I close the dialog, only the hero image shows up on the page. The logo image doesn't render on the page.  This is what I have for logo image: <item-imagejcr:primaryType="nt:unstructured"sling:resourceType="cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/fileupload"autoStart="{Boolean}false"class="cq-droptarget"fileNameParameter="./logoImgName"fileReferenceParameter="./logoReference"mimeTypes="[image]"multiple="{Boolean}false"fieldL

Hi I am trying to figure out the conversion rate of our customers using fallout visualization in the workspace. But when I make the fallout chart I get different results with prop and evar.I understand the difference between eVar and prop(persisted/non-persisted one). I just wonder which one is suitable when I want to know the conversion rate between pages. I thought I should use eVar when I check conversion-related data. However, because the container of the fallout visualization is 'visitor', I worry that the data with eVar could include unintended data. +)Is it possible to use the entry prop dimension(pathing enabled prop) for fallout(or flow) visualization?

Hello,I am implementing Adobe Analytics in a server environment and then invoking it with a 1st party data collector on the client-side. The issue is that when I fire AA on the server-side, Adobe is using the User Agent and IP Address from my servers as opposed to the actual data from the visitor's browser. To fix this, I am looking for ways I can tell AA to use User Agent and IP from a source I specify as opposed to those provided by the virtual server environment. I should back up and also ask, is it certainly User Agent and IP Address that AA uses to geo-locate visitors or is there something else I need to consider? If so, can I access it? The end result I need is, when I open my report suite for the server-side version of AA, I need to be able to select things like 'Visitor Profile --> Geo Segmentation' and have AA show me the data based on the geo data I syndicate from the client-side (Assuming it's UA and IP) as opposed to my server environment. Any tips or

Hi All,   anyone has a use case of integration between Analytics and OneTrust and how it's works the information flows for mobile app? Regards

Hello all,   I am trying to get 3 (A,B,C) different phone numbers to appear in an email based on an email script token and have hit a wall trying to find the issue in my code. When I try to preview a specific person, I get defaulted to the 3rd phone number. The referring fields (A and B)  are text fields and Standard Objects in our Database.   ##check if the lead is an A #if(${lead.XX_A_relationshipmanagertext} =="name 1"#OR"name 2") ##if the lead has name or name, use the phone number A 'XXX-XXX-XXXX' #set(${lead.XX_A_relationshipmanagertext} = "XXX-XXX-XXXX ") ##check if the lead is an B #elseif(${lead.XX_B_relationshipmanagertext} ==" name 3 "#OR" name 2 "#OR " name 4 "#OR" name 5") ##if the lead has name, or name, or name, or name, use the phone number B 'XXX-XXX-XXXX' #set(${lead.XX_B_relationshipmanagertext} = "'XXX-XXX-XXXX ") #else ##otherwise use phone number C 'XXX-XXX-XXXX' #set(${lead.XX_B_relationshipmanager

Looking for code to re-create this Excel formula which identifies the lowest number in a table column and places it in a different field.   ="Single Unit:" &CHAR(10)& IF(COUNT(AB17:AB23)>0,TEXT(ROUNDDOWN(MIN(AB17:AB23),0),"0") & " tons",IF(COUNT(AB24:AB27)>0,TEXT(ROUNDDOWN(MAX(Z17:Z23),0),"0") & " tons",IF(AND(ISNUMBER(G28),ISNUMBER(G29),ISNUMBER(G30),ISNUMBER(G31),MIN(G28:G31)<1),"LL","n/a")))

Hello!   I am trying to add borders in the table to separate columns and rows, but I can't seem to figure out how to do it. I even copied and pasted HTML that had the borders built in, but when it populates in Marketo it does so without the borders.   Are table borders not supported in MKTO emails?

admin console only has two permissions, author-user and author-administrators.This basically gives any AEM users full access to everything, which is highly dangerous. With EpiServer, we could easily create groups with specific permissions, e.g. only edit marketing pages, or only create affiliate pages, or only add images to our external-marketing DAM directory.  We could even let content admins create their own permission structures for their users via checkbox interface with meaningful permission names. Is any of this possible with AEM Cloud, and if so, how?  There seems to be no option in the admin console, where users permissions and groups are managed for our 10+ environments. One confusing piece is that if you login to one of the many environments author instances directly, there is a security, users groups and permissions. But these are not reflected in the admin console, so presumably are not usable.  In addition, the author permission tab has an incompre

Mobile App, implemented with Mobile App SDK via Adobe Launch.  I am able to see the beacons through Charles Proxy, and can see life cycle data as well as the pageName in workspace.  However, NO context data is not available in the Processing Rules, not even the out of the box context data included in Mobile SDK.  When should context data be available in the process rules?  How long, if any, is the delay in seeing context data once the data is sent. Are there any other settings that would prevent context data from being sent, if the other information in the beacon is available in reporting?

Morning all, Wondered if anyone could help me out with an issue. Tried to create a view in the NWE for a portfolio, where if needs be you could easily change the program the project belongs to. Looks like that field is locked. Tried to create it in a report, but again, that field is locked. The team that asked for it, would regularly move projects from one program to the other. Please can you help me out? Many thanks, Csengi

Recently, we have decided to upgrade our working environment to AEM version 6.4.8.4. Installation has been way of SP 6.4.8.0, followed by CFP's 6.4.8.2, and then 6.4.8.4. However, for one of our AEM (Author mode) servers, despite the Package Manager showing CFP 6.4.8.4 as installed, our AEM version is "stuck" on 6.4.8.2. Here is a quick breakdown of what either we have tried or have discoveredAEM restartedSP and CFP's 6.4.8.2 & 6.4.8.4 "reinstalled" using the package managerAfter "installation", file updater.aem-6.4.8-cfp-1.0.0.jar is still present on the /libs/system/aem-6.4.8-cfp-4.0/install/1 nodefile updater.aem-6.4.8-cfp-1.0.0.jar seems to be also present on the /libs/system/aem-6.4.8-cfp-2.0/install/1 nodeOn comparing error.log between a successful install (on another server) and the problem server, we seem to be "missing" events such as com.adobe.granite.installer.Updater Finished updater AEM-6.4.8-Cumulative-Fix-Pack-4, or Removing bundle
