Solved

Hi there - hoping someone can help me think through the best way to do this. Hoping it is possible! I have a custom form on all projects that has a yes or no answer - the default is yes - currently in the custom form. All projects align to programs. But I have projects that align with 7 specific programs where the default answer should be no. So in all cases - projects aligned to all but 7 programs should default to yes and projects aligned to those specific 7 programs should default to NO. But in a project report - I want a user to have access to change that default answer to either yes or no based on the individual project - not the program. So some projects within those identified programs would be switched to yes based on user decision. Any ideas? Thanks.Sherri

Hi,The rewrite rules are not working for having source url's extension as html, they are not redirecting to the destination url on browser and source url remains same, for example below redirects don't work while other redirects having no extension or other extension are working fine. Any leads? 1. RewriteRule ^/applications/life-science-research.html  /en/products-solutions/all-application.html [R=301,L,NC]2. RewriteRule ^/applications/life-science-research/dna-sequencing.html  /en/products-solutions/all-application.html [R=301,L,NC]3. RewriteRule ^/products/assays.html  /en/products-solutions/by-category/assays.html [R=301,L,NC] Regards,Shivam

I have multiple buttons that, when it is clicked, will take you to a specific page of the document. Each page has a schematic that the user will click on to show what has gone wrong. The first button takes you to page 3 and then there are multiple places to click showing text as the check boxes are checked, and the form expands as needed. There are 64 places to check, so it is possible (doubtful though) that all of the boxes will be checked. Then you go back to the beginning and click on the 2nd button which takes you to page 4. The problem is that when all the boxes are checked, the text expands to Page 4 and makes page 4 turn into page 5. Is there an action or a script to make the buttons take you a specific field in the document? I know this is pretty confusing... I know the problem is that the page numbers are getting messed up in LC but I don't know how to fix it! HELPP!!

Hi thereIs the a flag to disable this in web console : CQ MSM Page Move Action, Or ignore it on page move.? Thanks

The Adobe Sales person indicated that new relic was part of the AEM cloud product we have purchased.   We have access to the dev cloud author instance, but we cant find any mention of how we access NR. Does anyone know how we access the AEM NR control panel? UPDATE:This is NOT solved, so should not have been marked as solved.Adobe have now said that they have pulled new relic, and, although it was promised in writing, they cant provide it.  They now provide no monitoring nor log searching solution. This is in direct contrast with say EPiSever cloud which comes out of the box with Application insights for monitoring, log searching, client statistics, live server metrics and health.  AEM provides nothing.

AEM Forms JEE on Windows 2012 R2Version 6.2.0, GMService Pack Version: N/APatch Version: N/A Hi folksWe have recently observed on our QA/production instance whenever we restart our service then our formsservice component throws a nullpointer exception during start up. After start, when we try to hit workflow to generate fillable PDF which is calling FormsService component's renderPDFForm method it fails to load and throw error in generating pdf.Though other component services work fine like OutputServices or Assembler service. Even after multiple restart of JBOSS service it doesnt help and we have to do full VM reboot to bring the services to normal operations. Any idea what needs to be done or this is a known issue? ThanksManu

Hi community, for the panel in AEM forms it is possible to set the columns. For instance if I set the panel columns to "2" and put into the panel two inputs, both inputs are in one line. But when I switch to the tablet or mobile view, each input gets a line/row. My question: is it possible to set the columns for different view types or style it in another way like I can do it with components on a page in layout mode?Regards,Andrea

We are migrating a site in AEM 6.3 to 6.5(6.5.5).  During authentication, there is the use of PKCS7PADDING which is not working in 6.5 but does work in 6.3 with both environments having bcprov-bcprov- 1.66 installed: final Cipher decrypterWithPad = Cipher.getInstance("AES/CBC/PKCS7PADDING",BouncyCastleProvider.PROVIDER_NAME);--Provider Name being "BC" as seen in the error below---I've stripped out everything and created a small test package (with only slight changes needed for versions of 2 dependencies in the core pom) that I could quickly test in fresh 6.5 and 6.3 environments - no service packs in either.-Start up fresh publish instances of 6.3 and 6.5-Install bcprov-bcprov- 1.66 manually in OSGI-Install my little package to both 6.3 and 6.5-Hit my servlet by path which calls the above lines of code (obviously a bit more).6.3 Works great!  6.5 returns the same below log.  So something has changed fundamentally in 6.5.  I'm wondering if it is something i

We are using BouncyCastle for encryption. It was working fine in AEM 6.4 with Java 8. When we are doing the migration to AEM 6.5 with java 11, we are facing issues while using this library. We are getting following error: "JCE cannot authenticate the provider BC". Can someone suggest the solution for this issue?

Hi, I am looking to create a user role that only allows for emails and landing pages to be edited in the Marketing Activities or Design Studio section. These users should only be able to go in and tweak emails or landing pages created for them. I can see the option in the Design Studio section to edit email and landing page but in the Marketing Activities section I can only get as granular as Edit Marketing Asset. Does anyone have a way to do this or do I have to force them to make the edits in Design Studio?

I would like to not display the status option for my parent tasks on a project. Can I build this out with a custom view? Can I accomplish this with an IF statement? Something else? As you can see in the screenshot below my parent tasks do not have assignments. I don't want them to display a status option either. Help?

Hi Team,  When we try to run any query against broadlog RCP table, we always see that the data retrieval is very slow, for example :-  above is the only query to read the data from the broadlogRCP table, which takes long hours to get the data and sometimes even times out.  We also have checked if there are any parallel jobs running on the same table or any other through the query monitoring, but did not see any except this workflow. Since it is Adobe Hosted environment we are not able to see the logs properly.  I was just wondering should this table be optimized or analysed before we start the run the query activity.  Thanks,Adithya

Hi All,We have a situation where some of our products are very similar. You could consider them variations of the product. From a content perspective it is not the best look if we were to promote multiple of these similar products within the same recommendation result set, so we want to configure it so that certain items should never be in the same recommendation result. For example, if these are my products:ABCD-1D-2D-3I want to define a rule which says D-1, D-2 and D-3 never appear together.I can't figure out a way of doing it though. Does anyone have any ideas? I've seen this situation frequently with other optimisation and decision solutions but there's no obvious answer to me with Recommendations. Thanks,-Steve

Hi,Very new to the Marketo world and was hoping for a bit of feedback on my current challenge. We have a Marketo form that is embedded in a Sitecore page. When someone fills out the form an automatic email is generated with requested information.I would like to have the first name showing in the email (eg Dear John) So the Dear is set in our HTML but would like to know what token to use to get the first name in my email.Been trying to us {{lead.First Name:default=edit me}} but I am not sure whether this is ok or not?Form settings for first name:Label: First nameField: (Secondary) First NameAlso, do we need to add a delay between form filled and email sent?Hope enough info was given, thank you in advance.

I'm trying to create a test form based on the example template "Basic" from AEM forms and changed the submit action to "Submit to rest endpoint" and typed in my servlet path into the field "URL for post request". But the submit results to an HTTP 500 error (but no error is shown in the log, only in the browser console). If I change the path to a complete URL, my servlet is called. But I don't want to use a complete url because this url depends on the current environment. So how I have to configure it? In this documentation (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/forms/adaptive-forms-basic-authoring/configuring-submit-actions.html?lang=en#submit-to-rest-endpoint) they wrote, that I can type in a content path:"To post data to an internal server, provide path of the resource. The data is posted the path of the resource. For example, /content/restEndPoint. For such post requests, the authentication information of the submit request is used." So actually it

Hi Experts, Just need to understand what level of Java script we can use in the content blocks in ACS. const RSS_URL = '<<URL>>';fetch(RSS_URL)  .then(response => response.text())  .then(str => new window.DOMParser().parseFromString(str, "text/xml"))  .then(data => {    console.log(data);    });  Can i use above code in content block where i can call the rest API, use the values and render in email?Or any other way to call rest API in ACS which returns XML RSS feed, which i can use and generate html.

Hey Marketo community,I have a question in relation to building a webhook for Google lead forms:We're setting the webhook up and the documentation is all making sense but I'm having trouble figuring out how to get the actual Hostname URL from google.I have documentation for how it works here - Overview  |  Lead Form Webhook  |  Google Developers But I'm not sure how I can test it and see what the Hostname (URL) is for Marketo:Everything else is just creating the webhook itself but testing the hostname and seeing where I can get that information for marketo remains a mystery to me.If we add our SOAP/REST (not sure which either) information here - where can I see the results of this test?I may be completely off base but any starting point to this would be greatly appreciated - or if you've created this before Have a great day,-Justin
