Solved

I am putting together an example with the AEM 6.5, we.retail, etc.mappings, with the configurations below. The HTML routing is working correctly and removal of .html extension also works, but or some reason all the images, /etc.clientlibs, JS & CSS, JSON files are all 404 not found after implementation. Is there something in etc.mappings where I can disable sling mappings for assets?Configuration:  { "jcr:primaryType": "sling:Folder", "weretail.com": { "jcr:primaryType": "sling:Mapping", "sling:internalRedirect": [ "/content/we-retail/us/en" ], "weretail_com_content": { "jcr:primaryType": "sling:Mapping", "sling:match": "(.+)$", "sling:internalRedirect": [ "/content/we-retail/us/en/$1", "/$1" ] }, "reverse_mapping_content": { "jcr:primaryType": "sling:Mapping", "sling:match": "$1", "sling:i

Relatively straightforward usage of ReferenceSearch causes my AEM log to be populated by the following warnings org.apache.jackrabbit.oak.plugins.index.lucene.LucenePropertyIndex This index is deprecated: /oak:index/lucene; it is used for query Filter(query=select [jcr:path], [jcr:score], * from [nt:base] as a where contains.... Please change the query or the index definitions. Code snippet:ReferenceSearch referenceSearch = new ReferenceSearch(); referenceSearch.setExact(true); referenceSearch.setHollow(true); Map<String, ReferenceSearch.Info> resultMap = referenceSearch.search(resourceResolver, path); return !resultMap.isEmpty(); Is this behaviour expected? What can I do to remove the warning? Would you recommend I build my own query to look for references? My objective is to find pages that are orphaned (have no references) which I'm doing by search for all cq:Page nodes in repository and then iterating through them and triggering t

Currently, I am storing certain value as in data-attributes in customheaderlibs.html<div data-sly-use.myjava="MyJava" data-score="${myjava.getScore}" data-team="${myjava.getTeam}"></div>and were reading these values byconst iframeContents = document.querySelector('iframe').contentWindow.document.body; const configElement = iframeContents.querySelector('div[data-score]'); This works fine for certain resolution of a screen. But in smaller viewport such as in iPad where cq dialog opens as a full screen and not as a dialog box, customheaderlibs.html seems to be absent from the DOM. Hence, these data cannot be accessed from javascript on dialog-ready. Is there any way these data can be accessed, may be if passed as query parameter to the granite dialog path? But not sure how to achieve this.

I'm having issues with implementing lightbox onto a page where another embedded Marketo form is placed. Basically it is same as https://nation.marketo.com/t5/Product-Discussions/Issues-submitting-embedded-Marketo-forms-on-website/m-p/302432#M170318. The thing is that the lightbox is intended to be added over existing pages where I can't change the embedded form code. The page is outside of Marketo LP. The error only seems to happen when another form is present so I suspect the multiple forms are the cause of the error message.   Since I tried various things over 8 hours and the original page does not exist anymore but if there are solutions to avoid this, would you share?   Some references I've looked at: https://nation.marketo.com/t5/Product-Discussions/Multiple-Forms-on-a-Page-Weird-behavior-when-some-labels-are/m-p/85090#M49459 https://nation.marketo.com/t5/Product-Discussions/How-to-use-same-form-on-page-twice-in-lightbox-and-embed/td-p/138283   Also, I thought

Hello Members, What are best practices, things to consider and best sequence of actions to be considered and planned for AEM 6.4 to 6.5 upgrade. We can find many online resources for 6 3 to 6.5 but hardly nothing for 6.4 to 6.5. Because here we don't worry about oak and repo restructuring, what could be potential blockers or impacting items.

We are an Ecommerce technology solution provider to many clients around the world and often have clients using DTM for their own tagging deployments. Up till now we have been told we cannot run two DTM libraries on the same page (our customers and our own). Will this change with the Launch product such that we don't have to forego our own tag deployments (given the customer always comes first) via Adobe Tag Manager and can actually have two separate Launch libraries running side by side?

We’re trying to create leads with a date field that indicates when the remarketing nurture will start. We’re giving the SDRs 30 days to qualify the lead, but want them to be able to edit this date for individual leads if the process is taking longer. So, we want the field to initially be populated with Create Date + 30 days (or put differently, Today + 30). Salesforce does that easily using a formula, but the SDRs can’t edit a formula field. Anyone know of a way to do this in Marketo? We've thought of using different triggers for the nurture, but they all require too much effort from the SDRs - keeping their process as seamless as possible would be so lovely. Thanks! We’re trying to create leads with a date field that indicates when the remarketing nurture will start. Hey Community, Real quick... How can I get an aggregated number of %Complete for multiple tasks in a task report without using the Task Duration and Task Planned Hours information? I have as an input only Task Percent Complete values. Need to get the Overall/Average %Complete among multiple tasks in a given grouping (see the attached screenshot). Thank you in advance. Thanks,+Pavlin

We are on AEM 6.5.3 and working on setting up the responsive authoring for a desktop and large desktop. We did two things.    1. We have modified the grid.less for desktop and large desktop breakpoint. (code is below)    2. And added the respective breakpoint responsive node at the template for desktop and large desktop breakpoint. But while doing responsive authoring, I can author only in the phone, tablet, and default mode. Can anybody please provide any pointers to do responsive authoring for a desktop and large desktop? below is the grid file, here you can see I have defined desktop and large desktop breakpoints. And I have the same nodes at the template. @15844621 "/libs/wcm/foundation/clientlibs/grid/grid_base.less"; /* maximum amount of grid cells to be provided */@max_col: 12; /* default breakpoint */.aem-Grid {    .generate-grid(default, @max_col);     width: auto;} /* phone breakpoint */@590883 (max-wid

Howdy and Halp!   I'm hoping to find some help with a velocity script I am editing. I am just trying to hobble this together to meet a deadline. I am not a coder and just barely understand all that is happening in this script...just well enough to get into trouble. See below. 🙂   I have added a number of references to the field 'appointmentType'. The script is now producing an error:     This is the script I have in place:     #foreach ($appointmentItem in $appointment_cList) set( $todayCalObj = #$date.toCalendar($date.toDate("yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm",$date.get('yyyy-MM-dd #HH:mm'))) ) set( $nextAppt = $date.toCalendar($date.toDate("yyyy-MM-dd #HH:mm",${appointmentItem.appointmentDateTime})) ) set( $inFuture = ( #$nextAppt.getTimeInMillis() - $todayCalObj.getTimeInMillis() ) / #86400000 ) if ( $inFuture > 1 && $inFuture < 2 && #($appointmentItem.appointmentStatus != "Reschedule" || #$appointmentItem.appointmentStatus != "Cancelled"

Hi all,I have a background in modern web development using Laravel (PHP) and Angular (JS.TypeScript) and feel very comfortable on the front end and back end side of things. I also have Java experience and am comfortable reading and writing it (at least up to an intermediate level). Given this type of background (no experience with JCRs, CMS, etc), what is the most effective way to come to grips with AEM and become proficient with it from a developer standpoint? I have worked through the getting started material from Adobe and it either leaves much to be desired or I'm just not getting it. Aside from the very basics, I don't feel like I'm taking anything away from the training (in terms of being able to dive into a big existing project and get stuff done). Is this because I don't have a firm understanding of some underlying technologies or something? My goal is to really understand AEM and how it works as well as be able to proficiently develop new functionality while maintaining/fixing

Hi, I'm running an XT targeting existing customers, but the remaining audience that isn't captured (who i'm assuming are new customers) I want to fall into a 50/50 split A/B test. Is this possible? I have an XT activity and A/B activity running separately trying to achieve this, but the A/B test just isn't firing. Thanks, Lee

Is it possible to use AEM Launches with areas other than sites. We manage our E-commerce product catalogue via the AEM Commerce section: http://localhost:4502/aem/products.html/var/commerce/products And it would be very helpful to manage publication of complex changes in this area via the launches feature. However the launches UI does not seem to support this, is this something that we could customise and it should "just work" or am I missing something here?

AEM 6.4 (Service Pack 8 (6.4.8.0)) fails to create image renditions for PNG and GIF files, other file types work as expected. This usually works, but out of the blue we see following WARN messages in error.log while uploading a PNG file: 05.01.2021 09:50:56.972 *INFO* [JobHandler: /var/workflow/instances/server0/2021-01-02/update_asset_27:/content/dam/test03.png/jcr:content/renditions/original] com.adobe.xmp.worker.files.ncomm.XMPFilesNComm [PERF][EXECUTE_START] | /content/crx/tmp/cq-dam-wf-file6534904148032421539.tmp | XMP extraction05.01.2021 09:50:56.972 *INFO* [JobHandler: /var/workflow/instances/server0/2021-01-02/update_asset_27:/content/dam/test03.png/jcr:content/renditions/original] com.adobe.xmp.worker.files.ncomm.XMPFilesNComm [XMPFilesProcessor-19349] PROC: Executing request extractXMP05.01.2021 09:50:56.972 *INFO* [JobHandler: /var/workflow/instances/server0/2021-01-02/update_asset_27:/content/dam/test03.png/jcr:content/renditions/original] com.adobe.xmp.worker.files.n

https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/get-runmodes-value-in-client-side-js/td-p/326526 Hi folks,There is a discussion here on using a hidden field to make the "runmode" available to client-side JS widgets. I want to do the same as the OP.Jorg Hoh said"You should not expose the concept of runmodes to your frontend. Instead you should define a marker which is queried by your frontend; and this marker might be rendered directly into the page or queried via JSON. And the presence of the marker in the markup (or JSON) is controlled by an OSGI configuration which can be set via runmode-based OSGI configuration.Otherwise you need to have knowledge in your frontend about backend specifics." Just looking for clarification on the 1st point made, does Jorg mean to derive a value from the runmode and put that on the page ? thanksFiona

Hi All! I am fairly familiar with a/b testing when it comes to utilizing it in an email program for a 1-time 1 email send. That process is straight forward. My confusion is coming from when I need to set up a/b testing for a series of several emails. The outline of the campaign/program is as follows: -this program is for an event we are running this quarter - this is not an engagement program, no streams, all emails are sent via flow steps in a smart campaign -we have 2 smart campaigns for two different audiences, within each smart campaign (not triggered but filtered), there are flow steps to send a series of emails to get people to register  -my content team is requesting we a/b test the subject lines for each email we are sending, I am reading about champion/challenger emails but I am not sure how to apply that to this scenario. It seems to make sense for ongoing campaigns, to eventually chose the winning subject line, but since we are only sending each email once, I'm not enti

We segregate all less used assets(inactive) to an archive folder in a dam path. These assets keep growing(thousands of assets) as we have daily job running which will move inactive assets to archive. To improve performance of asset search it would be useful to exclude the archive folder/path from search. What is best way to do so?

We are doing an AEM upgrade from 6.4 to 6.5.So the plan is to clone the existing and do an in-place upgrade, while this being done, there are chances of updates happening on the existing system with uploading assets and workflow updates. We want to make sure all the active workflows in the existing system is coped to the new instance. What would be the best way to move all the delta workflow instances from one instance to other? Would packaging the entire /var/workflow/instances cause any issue?

Hi guys, When we create versions of the page, it starts from 1.0 and then increments to 1.1, 1.2. Is there a limit on how much this 1.x can go to.If I am making a major change, can I make it 2.0 and then let it increment from there on?

Hi,I am new and I installed Quickstart.in the localhsot:4502 it asks for username/password.I don't know what is the default user pass.I tried admin:admin ,etc.

Hello All,We need to provide an option from UI for the business to manage the scheduled jobs.Users should be able to see the scheduled jobs, reschedule, and cancel the jobs.I am using the Scheduler class to schedule the jobs.ScheduleOptions options = scheduler.EXPR("0 55 16 * * ?");options.canRunConcurrently(false);options.name("Test Job");final Runnable job3 = new Runnable() {@9944223public void run() {LOGGER.debug("Executing Test Job");pullPR();}};this.scheduler.schedule(job3,options);I am looking for APIs to retrieve the scheduled jobs and manage them. Any help would be much appreciated.Thank you!!

I'm trying to create a modal component for my page in AEM. Everything works great. The modal js builds the code in the DOM at the bottom of the page as a direct child of the <body>. Normally with heights at 100% I can position the modal in the middle of the screen, however, the source code of AEM shows that the height of a parent iframe and div are set automatically based on the content. This makes it difficult to position based on the window height. Is there a way around this?

We've noticed in the last couple of days that Chrome is flagging our ics file downloads as insecure:   We're getting this information form the Chrome help center:https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/6261569?p=mixed_content_downloads&visit_id=637414831076777406-3841747890&rd=1    These files are linked from our event confirmation emails and utilize the calendar file tokens within the event programs.   It's my understanding that Chrome are releasing updates to flag certain file types.  Is anyone else seeing this issue with their calendar files and know of a way around it or a way to resolve? The file is still functional if you select 'keep' but it doesn't look very professional to have your files flagged as a potential virus!   Thanks in advance for any advice.

Hi Experts, We have a requirement to save the sort settings in the list view on the author (as in aatched screen) so that a user who frequently uses the same sort can return to those settings. For example, if a user sorts according to "size," the user will see that sort as a default when they return to list view. The saved sort can be per-user or per user groupsCan you help with how we can do t in AEM author? ThanksS~
