I am currently working on implementing a content fragment model for a use case where I want authors to be able to make multiples lines of text with a requirement that all text is plain text. When creating the model, I am given the option of "Single Line Text" and "Multi Line Text". The single line text seems to be plain text but the authoring field is only (obviously) a single line, whereas I want to be able to author multiple lines. The Multi Line Text option seems to force the RTE by default, which I definitely do not want since my requirement is plain text. From my prior dialog knowledge, I believe that the "Text Area" component would fit my needs perfectly, however it is not a default option when creating the model. If I force the resource type of the field to be text area in CRX/DE, it actually does seem to work the way I want it to - but are there concerns with this approach? If so, is there any way that I can get my goal of a larger text area with forced plain text (ie

Hello, I've been running persistently into a certain AEM error. We use aemsync (https://github.com/gavoja/aemsync) via gulp (https://github.com/oliwerin/gulp-aemsync) to watch for saved changes to CSS/JS and then automatically push those changes to our local server. We’re finding that as soon as we save a change once or twice, all of the pages on the site go blank and show the error below. Restarting the instance fixes the issue; restarting gulp doesn’t. Internet searches consistently point to the following solution:Open the sling.properties file under "crx-quickstart/conf/" directoryLocate the following line:org.osgi.framework.bootdelegation=sun.*,com.sun.*Replace it with the following:org.osgi.framework.bootdelegation=sun.*,com.sun.*,jdk.internal.reflect,jdk.internal.reflect.* This simple fix worked perfectly for other devs on my team, but it hasn't worked for everyone. Any insights you might have would be hugely appreciated. Thanks! Here's my java versi

I struggle to understand how the built-in caching mechanism of Sling works when using AdapterFactory. Here is my first AdapterFactory: @8220494( property = { AdapterFactory.ADAPTABLE_CLASSES + "=org.apache.sling.api.SlingHttpServletRequest", AdapterFactory.ADAPTER_CLASSES + "=com.example.Foo" } ) public final class FooAdapterFactory implements AdapterFactory { @9944223 public <AdapterType> AdapterType getAdapter(Object adaptable, Class<AdapterType> adapterTypeClass) { SlingHttpServletRequest request = (SlingHttpServletRequest) adaptable; return Optional.ofNullable(request.getResourceResolver().adaptTo(PageManager.class)) .map(pageManager -> pageManager.getContainingPage(request.getResource())) .map(page -> page.getContentResource()) // the following line is not cached: .map(contentResource -> contentResource.adaptTo(Bar.c

I understand AEM Cloud services sits in front of a CDN.  What is the preferred way to send a user to the correct country based on geo-location or IP.  We have sites in many different countries and if their country doesn't have it's own country branch, default it to a base country. Can these rules be done at the CDN level in order to NOT have to involve a servlet/filter which would mean bypassing the dispatcher cache?

I turned on our scoring and SF Marketo Score got mapped to a different field. Does anyone have any suggestions for resetting a person score so that it is equal to demographic + behavior? I see that I can change data value to the behavior score token, but I don't know how I would also add in the demographic score.

Hi all,I am working with AEM 6.5 and we are heavily using the MSM (one English Master and 156 Live Copies).However, in our day-to-day work we have come across a few MSM related features which we think can be improved.1. Ability to synchronise at component level - At the moment you can only synchronise the full page, but we have a lot of use cases, where this is exactly what we want to avoid. We can already rollout at component level, so I was wondering if we could also synchronise at component level, too. This would be very helpful to our authoring team.2. View dialogue box without breaking inheritance - Currently, everytime you need to check for some content (eg. accessibilty or data tracking attributes) in the Live Copies, you need to break inheritance, open the dialogue box and revert inheritance again. This is an important part of our QA-process but it is increasing the editing efforts and is error prone, as you might forget to re-lock the component...  In 5.6 classic you were

What's the best approach to remove "/home" from home page.AEM home page:https://localhost:4502/sites.html/content/companyname/home

The cloud manger production pipeline fails at performance testing saying that it has CPU utilisation more than 80%. But stage environment has 0 pages in it and it is a brand new environment that was recently provisioned. Why is this happening? Is there a way to troubleshoot this issue to understand what is taking more CPU?

Hi,I have a requirement where I should set up a deny (rep:policy) access to an user group(Eg: testgroup) under a specific AEM page (Eg: /content/we-retail/us/en/experience/hours-of-wilderness) programmatically based on the checkbox property authored in page properties as shown in the screenshot below. I know we can manually set up the privileges/permissions using user admin interface shown in screenshot belowWhen we provide deny jcr:read access in user admin, AEM creates a rep:policy/deny node under the page for that specific usergroup (eg: testgroup). However I want to achieve this programmatically. Could someone suggest/provide an example to implement this use case ? please let me know if you need any additional information.Thanks in Advance,Regards,Sri.

We need to pull together data on number of email sends per week and see how they are performing in terms of open rate, click-through rate, and unsubscription rate. A good starting point would be to have the email sends information pulled for last six months and then filter it weekly. What is the best way of doing this.

In our process we create nodes for binary files. Meanwhile, the node path could be emailed to a CQ user to access and download the file later. I'd like to know if its possible to grand the node read permission to this CQ user programmatically.Thanks!

We are currently using Capture One to output camera images directly to an internal network file server.  The business will then use Desktop App to move the images from the server to AEM folders.  We want to remove the file server and output directly to AEM.   However, we do not see a way in the Capture One tool to configure (although it does use the Finder's and mounted network drive) and believe the Desktop App uses a different technology to connect).  BTW:  We have opened a case with Capture One, but curious if anyone has a similar requirement or need within their AEM Assets implementation.  Or if Lightroom as a solution, we could make a case for switching from Capture One.

Hey,I have this amateur question about checking if an email exists:Now, I have a file containing some emails, I load it, but there some emails that already exist in the Profiles table, so I want to update the existing ones, while inserting the new ones with extra and different data,I used Reconciliation Activity which indeed returned the existing Emails but while using the option "Keep in the outbound population" seems to keep everything and does not have an option like Segmentation to generate a Complement.Any ideas,Thank you

Hi everyone,   I'm working on getting our Marketo Analytics to the next level and I'm reading a lot on RCM and how this can provide with precise reports on how our leads go from one stage to another.   I started to set up a first RCM based on what I set as a leadlifecycle :   My question is : is something like that too complex to monitor?    I've seen a bunch of "compact" RCM focused on the success path with almost no Detours (or no Detours at all) that are not always covering every cases like the following (the default examples on Marketo) :   Here nothing happens at the end of the road  Success path only   Is this something I should consider?   Also, I saw here that I should manage RCM transitions with a Data Value Changed trigger - meaning that I should set actual transitions in my Leadlifecycle Smart Lists : https://nation.marketo.com/t5/Product-Discussions/Revenue-Cycle-Model-First-Time-Setup/m-p/190343#M137478   I don't se

Hello everybody,Is there a smart way to find the reasons why the recipient was kicked out of a split with multiple conditions at Adobe Campaign Classic?

I am using a delivery in a workflow. Post the delivery has completed I require the delivery id of the delivery and store it in a custom schema. Is it possible to obtain the delivery id, once the delivery has been completed, in the current workflow.

Hi everyone,   I'm working on my leadlifecycle from Marketo to Dynamics and I'm now focusing on the Opportunities status. The overall sync is working properly and info were always syncing well from one side to the other.   But I did some testing on the opportunities and nothing were triggered on Marketo. The information that an opportunity has been created for a contact is not available anywhere but on Dynamics.   Here is the steps I followed on my test : 1. Created a contact on Dynamics (me) 2. Synced the contact to Marketo 3. Created an opportunity on MS and set the synced entity as the primary contact (still me)   4. Checked the Opportunity tab and Log on Marketo : Nothing never happenned     Is it due to some misconfiguration during the synchronisation? I did not sync much of the standard fields during the config so that may be why. If that is the case, which should I sync to have the opportunity trigger work?   So at the moment, every Dynamics
