I'm creating a form for students to fill out that includes their graduation date. I need the "date of graduation" field to have a default value of "today", and cannot select a past date. Can someone help me figure out how to do this?

Hi,I am using aem adaptive forms so that end user can answer few questions and on submit, is shown relevant results on a different page.Below are the steps followed during implementation:Created an adaptive form under http://<<server name>>:<<port number>>/editor.html/content/forms/af/us/en-us/my-form.htmlCreated a custom submission action under /apps/custom_submit_action, business logic to invoke sling service to get results is added in post.POST.jspApproach is to set result object as an attribute in request and access it on results page and display results.Adaptive Form Container is configured with custom submit action and Thank You Page as results page for example http://<<server name>>:<<port number>>/editor.html/content/forms/af/us/en-us/my-form-results.htmlDropped AEM Form Component(available OOTB) on a sites page, to embed above adaptive form.On form submit, user is not redirected to results/thank you page, don't see any exception

Hi There,  I am currently working on dropdown/Select in AEM 6.5, I want to  limit the number of selected options , the user must only select certain maximum number of options say 2 or 3  options and  the field must be disabled unless they remove the previously selected option. Thanks,

In Workspace, I would like to create a YoY comparison column for across a handful of metrics for a specific month. When "This Month," I "Compare Time Periods" for "This Month Last Year to this Date Range." In doing so, it generates the correct comparison. However, when I adjust to look at the month prior, the Date Comparison column stays stagnant on the original date's YoY comparison. Is it possible to create a Date Comparison column that adjusts to the Panel date range or do I have to go in and manually modify the comparison dates each time? If so, this seems like a miss since Workspace is an otherwise powerful tool.

Hello,  We missed in implementing a number of tracking codes for our display and paid search ads. For those untagged marketing campaigns, in which marketing channel will Adobe treat traffic from them? Does adobe treat them as "referring domains" and "natural search" ? Thanks a lot 🙂

Hello, I have multiples OSGi bundles that use the same configuration properties.  Now I create a below service for each bundle:@ObjectClassDefinition(name = "My configuration service", description = "Configuration for bundle")public @interface MyConfig {           @AttributeDefinition(name = "My API:", description = "API endpoint for project", type = AttributeType.STRING)           String myPropAPI() default "....";...}@580286protected void activate(final MyConfig config) {         this.api_endpoint = this.config.myPropAPI();} Is it possible for other bundles to share this configuration service? Or  should I create a property file accessed directly by all bundles?   Thanks for any input

Hi, I am running a multi-page AB test (50 - 50). Reporting is A4T and date range is Jan 13 (start date of the campaign) - Jan 30. I have shown a screenshot of the numbers  I have included two metrics, both unique visitors. The second column is segmented whose screenshot is below  The login password and email link are the two pages on which the activity runs. How can the UV (first column) be more than the second? Those two pages are the only pages on which this test runs. Ideally they should be the same, but the difference is significant.  Is there an explanation to this? Vinodh

Hello all,I would like to use the same link in different CTAs in the same DEM and analyze in which position it performs better.I've tried to insert a code in Insert link > Advanced > ID field, but when it comes to analyze email link performance if I add the constrain link ID it doesn't show me anything. Instead if I analyze the campaign by Link I can see the results. How can I do it? I cannot found in help articles info about it.Thank you!

OS: RHEL 7AEM 6.5.1ACS: 4.2.2 Is there a way to populate the list of editable templates in sorted order when I create a new page like what we have "ranking" in classical Template.

Details: In author mode, when I have created a scheduled workflow, the following alert appears in a blue ribbon: This page is subject to the workflow Scheduled Page/Asset Activation. The issue is the ribbon never goes away ie post publish. Appearing before publishing is good as it lets other authors know not to lock the page which disallows scheduled publishing. However, hours or days after the publish, it should disappear?

Hi guys, I am experiencing an error as below. It says "A system level error has occurred. user does not have access to calculated metric"I've tried to re-start my PC and repeated to re log in for several times and still doesn't work.Does any one know why I am getting this kind of error?I am pretty sure that I have access to the calculated metric that I am trying to use. Thanks!

Hi everyone We have a bunch of people who have errored out upon Salesforce sync. I can see in their activity logs "Sync Person to SFDC" , with the detail of "Failed: Failed to update SFDC", with the error details. But how can I grab these people in bulk via a smart list? I've looked at filters, and I can see "was synced to SFDC", but there is no constraint I can use of "status: failed" or similar so I can isolate those where it failed. Any ideas?

Hi everyone, we're interested in taking advantage of batch replication though we have troubles configuring it the right way. On publish instance we've set up Flush Agent to support batch mode. Also HTTP Method was changed from GET to POST to allow list of paths passed in request's body. Then when Flush Agent performs the request it returns 200-OK response. However there are errors in dispatcher log:[Sun Feb 02 23:02:40 2020] [I] [pid 12 (tid 140047550482176)] Activation detected: action=Activate [batch:][Sun Feb 02 23:02:40 2020] [E] [pid 12 (tid 140047550482176)] URI not canonical: batch:.[Sun Feb 02 23:02:40 2020] [E] [pid 12 (tid 140047550482176)] URI not canonical: batch:.[Sun Feb 02 23:02:44 2020] [I] [pid 12 (tid 140047550482176)] "POST /dispatcher/invalidate.cache" 200 13 4560ms [toryburch_farm/-] On top of that stat files created in directories except the ones where they should be therefore auto-invalidation fails. Could someone please give us an advice

Hello Everybody,  We have a requirement to push assets from AEM DAM to external DAM (non AEM-DAM) using rest API.It is easy to push small size assets (up to 20 MB), but issue is with larger size assets due to Rest API data transfer limit. One option is to split the large files in chunks and send each chunk over Rest api call.but in case of bulk asset push what should be right approach to handle these assets chunks  1. InputStream2. File system (temp file)3. or any other recommandation (please)In case of inputStream, lets say for one assets (size = 50 mb), we have created 3 chunks, chunk push on Rest API should be sequential or parallel.Sequential processing of chunks will take more time, whereas parallel processing will take less time, but  multi threading is having its own overhead.  can you please suggest recommended way to handle this kind of use case. Regards, Nj

We have multiple authorable fields in a component, and out of those fields we see one field is not getting displayed in author dispatcher dailog box. but we are seeing the default value in the page when we close the dailog box. This issue happens in AEM Author Dispatcher only.Any idea why the authorable field is not getting displayed in authorable dailog box?  @kautuk_sahni  @smacdonald2008  @joerghoh

Hi, When i try to modify my blueprint (source) which would trigger my rollout config(custom) whose action is set to trigger on modify, i see that all the live copies are modified by msm-service but all of their content is deleted. except the change i made on the blueprint is what visible on them ? any suggestions as to why this behavior ? also, i still have my msm configs under /etc instead of /libs/ and i am on 6.5. Since my other applicaitons are working just fine i would assume this is still ok.

Hi, How do we retrieve AAM UUID from AEP 5. The client wants to retrieve this ID and set it in a context data variable for both Android and IOS. I understand that the method to do this with Adobe SDK 4 was getallidentifiersasync. What is the method that we can use for AEP 5. is it identity.getidentifiers? If yes how do I then set the AAM UUID in a context data variable? Thanks and regards

Hi Team,When I am sending the evars and props from the React Native code, the value and their counts are not reflecting on the portal. While I send the events they are reflecting there but not getting their values. Reference links of which I have taken the help are:https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/mobile-services/universal-windows/analytics-univ-win-plat/event-serialization.htmlhttps://aep-sdks.gitbook.io/docs/using-mobile-extensions/mobile-core/mobile-core-api-reference#track-app-actions My code for evars and props  which I tried is: function trackActionFunc(action, payload) {ACPCore.trackAction(action, payload);} trackActionFunc("Sign-in Status", { "&&evars": "eVar12:Splash" }); // function call for evarstrackActionFunc("Page Name", { "&&props": "prop1:Splash" });  //function call for propstrackActionFunc("Sign-in Status", { "&&events": "eVar12:Splash" }); //function call for events Please suggest a solution with sample

Hi all, we noticed a bigger number in output then in input for some SMS recurring deliveries. After checking, a cross join is performed for customers with more mobile phones and that is the reason for bigger number. (We have several records for the same recipient with different mobile phones which customer poses in recipient table.) I am trying to find out why is used the cross join here as target mapping is done on mobile number level.Any idea? Regards,Milan

Hi All,Does anyone know how I can go about creating a Sling Health Check to verify that Smart Tags is working?Thank you for your time and best regards.

Pretty simple stuff, just want to be 110% sure and understand are there any best practices or caveats around these issues.1. When Launch is deployed synchronously, there are two embed codes, one which you put in the <head> and another which you put before the </body>.Let's say we are self-hosting the script through another domain/cloud (if this matters in any way)a) What happens in browser if the Launch script in header is not available. So url doesn't exists. I guess you could ask this question regarding any .js file. Maybe you get error message in console that url X is not available or gives 404. But this shouldn't have any effect to user browsing the site, right?b) what happens (to browser) at the bottom of the page when satellite.pageBottom is trying to call/load. Again, nothing too serious for the end-user, maybe just some kind of notification in console or?c) Would it be best practice to add try catch for that, e.g.   <script type="text/javascript">try {_satelli

i can't seem to find a solid recent answer to this question. is it possible to duplicate a project or site in AEM?(or clone or copy) any insight on this would be great.thanks.

This feels like a really stupid question, but based on the email we all received today, I'm highly interested in knowing if the checkbox above makes segments available across ALL report suites.  That would make things a bit easier (IN SOME WAYS) for me.  PLEASE ADVISE ASAP!Any MVPs who know right off the bat?  This limitation of only 75 segments per Report Suite is going to be HIGHLY PROHIBITIVE and terribly problematic, especially for such a large organization like the one for whom I work!
