Hi All, I have the GA extension and want to prevent the GA (_GA) cookie from dropping but it appears this happens due to the extension being present, even when I have not added the extension as a condition/event/action in any rule. This is the same for the ECID but the ECID gives me the option in the extension to not fire based on criteria.  I am trying to do this so NO cookies drop until explicit consent is given (I am using the Evidon UCP extension). While I know I can fire GA as a script and remove the extension, I want to avoid that.  Thanks in advance!

Setting default value for data element 'JavaScript Variable' when the actually JS value is an empty string doesn't return the 'Default Value' is set within the data element. An empty string is returned instead. Since an empty string is considered to be a false type in JS, developers might expect then to rely on the 'Default Value' to be populated instead.  Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, this should be updated if the JS path resolves but return an empty string vs a ref error, then the data element should fallback on the default value.

I just upgraded to Adobe Analytics Extension v1.8.1 and now I'm seeing an error when trying to build. All I did was click the Upgrade button in the Extensions section and changed an existing rule.  ERROR:The "Adobe Analytics" extension has been upgraded on this property. The upgraded version must be included in this library by selecting the "latest" revision. Add it to your library, then rebuild. SOLUTION:After upgrading Adobe Analytics, and after you make a change to a rule, you must go to Publishing > Resource Changes > Expand the rule that you changed > Select the Revision with the word "Latest" in parenthesis > Click "Select this Revision" and follow the prompts. You should be able to build successfully.

Our EMEA team is asking us to look into adding a area code dropdown option to our phone number field on Marketo forms.  I was wondering if anyone else has done something like this in the past and how to best do it.  If not possible, what is the best way include area code for emea based phone numbers?  Our phone number field isn't mandatory and I made the team aware even adding this functionality will result in people providing reliable numbers in a lot of cases.

Hi,I don't know why this token {{member.webinar url}} "Gotowebinar token" is not populated if I insert it into an email  directly. However if I insert this token  {{member.webinar url}} into the "My tokens" section of my program inside a calendar file token it is populated. This calendar file token has this content under the description section and it works if I put it into an email:Access URL: {{member.webinar url}} {{my.AgendarToken}} token content "calendar file token"This is the email template we are sending ... the "{{my.AgendarToken}}" which has the above content has a token this token {{member.webinar url}} into it and works. However, if this token {{member.webinar url}}} is placed exactly inside the same email it does not work. Is there anything wrong I'm doing?Result of email If I edit the Save in Outlook button, the member.webinar url is populated.Thank you for your help!!

Hi All,  I have created a simple workflow , which selects a record from Visitor table and sends that record to Delivery which is mapped to Visitor Target Mapping. When i try to execute the workflow i get the below error message :The schema for profiles specified in the transition ('head:visitor') is not compatible with the schema defined in the delivery template ('nms:visitor'). They should be identical. I wanted to know if any one has tried visitor target mapping in ACS. SQL code below ,show the query is reading the data from nmsVisitor. Workflow image: Target Mapping on delivery : Thank YouSB

Hello Guys ,  I tried to verify the functionality of Connected assets in AEM on my local system. It worked as expected . However the documentation here clearly says that the Assets instance should be on AMS. Hence my question is do we have a restriction that the assets should be hosted on the AMS only -OR- is it possible to have an on-premise Assets and sites instance ? Thanks in advance !

How can I get the list of elements using API 2.0 version?I tried to do it similar way like metrics list as I couldn't find it in documentation and I got:Requested resource URL or path does not exist.Or is it only not available yet? Is it going to be?

Hi all,Is it possible to embed a survey in a delivery template? This survey might include some elements such as checkbox, radio button, text box, submit button with some validations, etc. The user should be able to fill out this survey in the inbox itself and not over some web page. Also is it a best practice to do this? Regards,Jayesh

Hi, As I understand it, I can send transactional messages by "event" or "profile". When sending by "event", I pass the message information in the body of the API call. In my case that would be the user's email and the message content.  What are the cost or cost/1000 emails sent to do this for ~2M messages per month? Is the correct process to:Call the Profile API to determine if the user has an "active profile"; and thenCall the ACS messaging API with either an Event or Profile type transactional messageOr, can the ACS messaging API determine if the user has an active profile and dynamically decide to use that profile since it already exists? My goal is to understand the benefit of using ACS for transactional messages over a similar service like AWS SES that likely cost much less than having an "active profile" for every user, even those that don't actively use the website or mobile apps. Thanks!

Hello everyone,I have an issue with the rendering of a barcode in my email. This is what I use for my barcode right now in my HTML template :<tr><td style="padding: 5px 0 15px;" align="center"><img src="https://campaign.kruidvat.be/barcode/tISBN/h70/s2/v<%= targetData.cardNumber %>/barcode.gif" width="179" height="70" style="min-width: 179px; display: block; color: #6c1a2c; font-family: Helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; width: 179px; " alt="barcode" border="0"></td></tr>And this is the rendering in my email : The numbers of the cardNumber are displaying correctly but the first number doesn't want to appear. Normally, the cardNumber contains 13 numbers and in the barcode, only 12 numbers are displaying well. For certain purpose, we only want to use this type of barcode (tISBN)Is there something wrong in this part of the HTML ?Feel free to tell me if you need more information.Thank you for your help.Kind regards.

Issue:We have a page created in AEM campaigns i.e at /content/campaigns whose resourceType is custom one say 'res1'. Now this 'res1' has OOB supertype as "mcm/campaign/components/campaign_newsletterpage". Now when I checked /libs/mcm/campaign/components/campaign_newsletterpage, it has a tab called as "cloudservices" (/libs/mcm/campaign/components/campaign_newsletterpage/cq:dialog/content/items/tabs_new/items/cloudservices) and this 'cloudservices' has path defined as "foundation/components/page/cq:dialog/content/items/tabs/items/cloudservices" which is non-existing in aem 6.5 when checked at /libs/foundation/components/page/cq:dialog/content/items/tabs/items/cloudservices but this is present in AEM 6.3.How to reproduce: While doing in place migration from AEM 6.3 to AEM 6.5.AEM version: 6.5Please let us know how can we resolve this as we tried searching upgrade documentation but to no avail.

CCPA vs GDPR. It’s different but similar. There are certain principles on which GDPR is based, and those overlap with the intentions of CCPA as well. Still, both are different. You may be in compliance with GDPR, and still require steps to take for being CCPA compliant. Personal information has different definitions in CCPA, versus GDPR. The tactics (and the reasons) of verification, are different for CCPA versus GDPR. For example, Double Opt-In is a strong way to demonstrate GDPR compliance, but we're not sure if the same shall cover CCPA for all scenarios. To explore and find areas which can speed up CCPA compliance, I had a discussion with my colleague, @Saurabh Tyagi to share his perspective and summarize the key items below (though CCPA in itself, is much larger) Areas CCPA revolves around There's still time before we see a CCPA requirements checklist, however CCPA primarily revolves around rights to know, delete, opt-out (from selling information) and

We are creating a new subscription page where we want user to select atleast one checkboxes which we will be initially unchecked and on successful completion form is submitted to us. Can anyone help me out with this ?

Can someone list down the difference between Adobe Analytics  API 1.4 vs Adobe Analytics API 2.0?

My team had a series of alerts created in Adobe Analytics for basic monitoring. The user who created these alerts no longer works with us, and now Adobe says these alerts are disabled, despite their expiration date being in November. Do we need to transfer ownership of these alerts to reactivate them? What can we do to ensure alerts still work if their original creator's account is deactivated?

Are there any good detailed guidelines on how to structure your page hierarchy? i.e. the page tree structure under /content/<project>/.. ? Usually, at the root level, you have the home page and the different sections of your site (.e.g if it's an ecomm site you may have books, electronics, etc..as sections). Under them you'd have sub-sections or the actual pages. This seems to be the standard hierarchy I've seen in many AEM implementations. Any thoughts on whether this is adequate or when it'll be better to go for a different kind of structure? I know there's David's model but info given there is brief and it seems to be about content design in a very general sense rather than specifically about page design. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

Hi guys! I have a general question regarding AEM Dev Ops. What automated tools have you used to manage AEM OSGI bundle dependencies? For example, if I add a dependency in my application's pom.xml, it's scope is provided, meaning that I have to separately deploy the bundle to a running AEM instance (local, test, production). I would like to make that process smooth and automated. I believe there are a number of options out there. Right now, our org uses Ansible to do package deployment, but it isn't really dependency aware and the configuration doesn't "live with" our code. What have you guys used to solve this problem? What works well? What doesn't? Thanks!

The JSON data will come in like this. [{"vehicleYear": 2018, "vehicleMake": "Mercedes-Benz", "vehicleModel": "GLC", "requiredDocs": [{"Docs":"Proof of Income,OTHER DOC1,OTHER DOC2"}]}]I need to output the string of Docs into a bulleted list in the email body. The code I have so far does successfully export the Docs list if I echo out $subvalue. The issue is when I put the <li> HTML script in the token used in the body of the email. It displays the very last value in the string (OTHER DOC2) since Proof of Income is overwritten by OTHER DOC1 and then by OTHER DOC2. How do I display each value in its own bullet and code it to be scaleable if the number of Docs is more than 3?##set defaults#set( $utm_source = "mkto-email" )#set( $utm_medium = "customer-engagement" )#set( $utm_campaign = "post-purchase-missing-docs" )#set( $vehicleYear = "" )#set( $vehicleMake = "" )#set( $vehicleModel = "" )#set( $residenceBullet = "" )#set( $missingDocs = "" )##check JSON and set vars#if( $lead.miss

Hi, I am new to AEM workflows. I am trying to create a simple workflow that will unpublish selected assets and then move them to a specific folder within AEM Assets.I'm having a hard time finding the steps in the workflow builder tool that will do this. I see ways to publish and upload to Dynamic Media or Scene7, but not a way to unpublish. I also don't see anything about moving files from one location to another. Is there anyone who can help me figure this out? I would really appreciate the support. Thank you.
