Before we were using Asset Java APIs to create assets in Java, but it looks like that is deprecated. I saw from another post that we'll need to use aem-upload: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/assets/admin/developer-reference-material-apis#asset-upload I'm confused on how we're supposed to use aem-upload in Java, it doesn't seem to be a Java API. Is it even possible? Appreciate if anyone can include an example I can reference.

Can we create nodes in the cq dialog at runtime?The requirement is the dialog initially would only have a single dropdown with few fixed fields. So, when an option from the dropdown is selected let's say a value great is selected so when this action happened in the dropdown now it should map the value great to a json which has which component does great map to. Let's say great --- > mapped to "textfield". Now as soon as the backend mapping is done there should be a node created in the same dialog below the dropdown referring to textfield. Can someone help with the approach. we have tried few approaches, but any leads are welcome. TIN

Hi I am using AEM Cloud. I want to send email notification to owner and one team when an asset version is created. This email template should be from crx/de. We have a Rollout configuration "updateContentActionFactory". In side that, there is a property "jcr:.*". I am able to rollout jcr:title, jcr:description, ... for the first time rollout once I create a page. I am unable to rollout the same properties by updating from next rollout onwards. We want to rollout the jcr:title, jcr:description.. etc properties to some pages even there is "updateContentActionFactory" configuration. please suggest me if there is any possibility to do so.

What do you think about this expression syntax?<%<% if (<recipient.age >= 40) {%>Good morning <%recipient.firstName! %> <%}else if (<FIELD>==<VALUE>) {%>Hi <%recipient.firstName %> <% }%>

Hi All, Hope You are doing great ! I am trying to display a list of campaigns executed in a day. For this I created an HTML table to show the campaign labels, delivery labels, Success counts etc. As shown in the screenshot, my workflow includes activities where I fetch data from the delivery schema, alias the required fields in the "Final Data" named enrichment activity, and then used JavaScript to retrieve these fields. I then apply a query activity with the Recipient schema to define the target audience. While the alert activity works fine after the JavaScript step, placing a delivery activity after the Recipient query causes the delivery to fail. Could you suggest a solution for this issue? WF - JS Used - var query = xtk.queryDef.create (<queryDef schema= "temp:enrich22" operation="select"><select><node expr="contact_date"/><node expr="country"/><node expr="delivery_label"/><node expr="msg_to_send"/><node expr="suc

we need to sort pages alphabetically on for specific folders. I tried to overlay the OOTB path /libs/wcm/core/content/sites/jcr:content/views/column/datasource to /apps but it doesnt seem to work because the sling:resoureType of libs folder path is cq/gui/components/common/wcm/datasources/childpages and i couldnt find this path in my aem.  I tried to add jsp code  here : /apps/cq/gui/components/coral/admin/page/columnitem/columnitem.jsp. we have used this jsp to manipulate the page names and title. But for this requirement this also doesnt seem to work.  can someone help me with this ?

Hi everyone, could someone give me advice on how to pass the CJA Business Practitioners certification? Any documentation or additional topics I can read about are extremely important to me.

Hello Community Members,   We are looking to configure a Time-to-Live (TTL) for pseudo-anonymous profiles based on multiple identity attributes. Proposed Logic: If a customer has any identity beyond Device ID, ECID, Email_LC_SHA256, or Phone_SHA256, their profile should not be deleted. However, if a profile contains only these four identities in any combination, it will be considered anonymous and subject to deletion after 90 days of inactivity. When I say "combination," I mean any permutation of the four identities. Example Scenarios: A profile with only ECID → Deleted after 90 days of inactivity. A profile with Email_LC_SHA256 and ECID → Deleted after 90 days of inactivity. A profile with Email_LC_SHA256, Device ID, and ECID → Deleted after 90 days of inactivity. Question: According to Adobe’s documentation (Experience Platform Pseudonymous Profiles), profile expiration applies only if the identity graph consists of identity namespaces selected by the customer (e.g., ECI

Hey Everyone, Context: Our team is currently trying to optimally setup a client's project, and we want to create a smooth CI/CD system which will take into account both the development side of contributions as well as the actual content authoring side (client side) of the flow. The tooling and process we're utilizing is as such (see attached screenshot as well of our current infra thinking & layout):- Document/Content Authoring & Asset Management = Sharepoint- Version Control and Development Organization = GitHub- Deployment and CDN = AEMaaCS (were using Edge Delivery) As for utmost safety in a project and to prevent unwanted mistakes, multiple environments should exist ideally. But so far this is understood by our team as such:- Feature branches take in local code changes/pushes- Merge into a Staging branch- Merge into QA or Main from which it goes to a production pipeline- The pipeline is triggered from main- Pipeline deploys to production (.com) site

Hi,  I have a bit of an urgent ask so any quick responses would be appreciated.  We're trying to add links to SMS and some links we'll need to add as a hyperlink. Is there a way to do this from AJO? ExampleInstead of showing the link: https://www.adobe.com/homeWe'd like to show: Click Here which would redirect the user to https://www.adobe.com/home Thanks

Hi there, Can someone help me better understand how users are defined with context to AEM Sites On-Premise?   More specifically: Do users refer to all "named" users (ie. any or all logins) connected to an AEM author instance?  I've been told it's only concurrent users.  Or is it total users? Does the license model elaborate on the specific case of previewing content for named account (one can login, preview, but not edit or approve), thus enabling preview to specific users.  These users are not authors and never will be.  Do these count as users as well?  This is based on references from the following thread (from @anilkumar9 and @arunpatidar) :https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/what-are-the-differences-between-aem-as-on-premise-and-aem-as-a/m-p/626921 Thank you in advance!

Hi This is a general question relating to Schemas, but it came up when I was working on AJO, so hope it's OK to post hereHere are some steps to reproduce:Create a new ExperienceEvent Schemaclick on the Field Groups Add buttonIn the “Add field groups” dialog search for “Adobe Analytics”In the results there is “Adobe Analytics ExperienceEvent Template” – click on the magnifying glass icon to preview that Field Group5. Expand any of the numbered event paths such as _experience.analytics.event101to200.event103Note that the “Required” field is not checked for any of those event fields in the preview. You can check other fields as well – you will be unlikely to find any field that is required. I'm using the event fields as an example here, but the same situation is happening with most/all of the fields in this Field Group 6. close the preview and add “Adobe Analytics ExperienceEvent Template” to the Schema Result: there are a huge list of required fields – the event

Hi there,  I'm wondering if I can leverage MSM to create a single-source workflow of 100+ pages with different content but based on the same structure. Is this doable with MSM and non-localized content? 1. In other words, I'd like to have one parent page with a structural blueprint but be able to draw that blueprint to 100+ child pages with varying content per site inside of the standard structure. All pages are in English but based on differing versions of similar content.  a. If so, how would updating content on the child pages work? Would there be a single-source we can update in a central area and flow to child pages? b. Could we update parts of the structure of the parent and easily "push" them down to the children?c. If there are core pieces of content that all child pages would share with the parent, is there a way to update the content on the parent and "push" to all child pages?d. Does this use case make sense to use MSM for, or is there another A

We have created a custom Utility class with two functions:1. getResourceResolver()2. closeResourceResolver() Whereever we need to get an object of resource reolver, we call the "getResourceResolver" function inside "try" block and in "finally" block, we call the "closeResourceResolver" function.  Recently, the AEM has started logging the "INFO" in error.logs stating "Unclosed ResourceResolver was created here:" for "getResourceResolver()" function for line "resolverFactory.getServiceResourceResolver" line. We cannot close the Resource Resolver in the same function as this function objective is to create and return the resource resolver object. Please advise. - Thanks

Hi everyone,I am working on a project that requires managing the versions of a resource in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). I need to retrieve the version timeline of a resource via API. Specifically, I want to distinguish between the following states programmatically:A) Published B) NOT published C) Published but with pending modificationsHas anyone had experience or can share examples of how to obtain this information using the AEM APIs? Any suggestions or references to useful documentation would be greatly appreciated.Thank you in advance for your help!

I see that this question comes up every once in awhile. Unfortunately I'm still struggling to understand the logic between why the fallout is displaying a different total than the freeform when the components being applied are virtually the same. Any help on this is much appreciated.  I have a fallout and a freeform displaying how many people last year performed specific button clicks, which are contained in a segment.  As you can see from both screenshots, the number of people for each visual is different.  The segment is a very simple one. It contains multiple versions of a button click (custom link): Each black line essentially is a different custom link. What's interesting is what happens when I go into the segment builder from the fallout row menu. The summary or validation area shows a different number of people as well than the fallout does.Can someone tell me why this is? It would immensely in explaining to other product managers what is going

I have an email using dynamic content for a banner image.  Of course the dynamic images are based on a segment.  The segment has about 80 values, based on a field that gets populated when users fill in a form on the website.  When we created the email all segment values were tested and the correct images were populating.  We're seeing instances of users receiving the default image, or worse, the wrong image.  When I look at our segmentation I see several segments show zero members, but when I recreate the rules with a smartlist I see many people in the list.  Has anyone experienced anything like this?  Am I missing something basic about the way segments work?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
