Hello @16227148,I am preparing for AEM Technical Foundations Certification exam. There's only small foundational course with basic definitions and benefits of terminologies, but the syllabus is very huge and only offered links of documentation in prep guide. Can you suggest any courses available and the way I've to prepare to crack exam.

When we look in error.log, we see errors about an "Illegal address".  We've been unable to come up with steps to reproduce the issue as it happens intermittently across forms.  Email addresses used for the form's TO and FROM fields are correctly formatted.  AEM mail server configuration confirmed to be correct by Adobe support.  Stacktrace: 31.12.2024 08:49:14.161 *ERROR* [IP removed [1735652954103] POST /path/to/form/jcr:content/guideContainer.af.submit.jsp HTTP/1.1] com.adobe.aemds.guide.service.impl.MailSubmitActionService Could not create emailIllegal address javax.mail.internet.AddressException: Illegal address at javax.mail.internet.InternetAddress.<init>(InternetAddress.java:122) at com.adobe.aemds.guide.internal.impl.utils.GuideEmail.createEmail(GuideEmail.java:122)

Hi, I'm testing some new release functionality is Preview and wanted to check if want I'm experiencing is as expected. I can only add images to the update section comments after I've submitted the post. I can't add the image while I'm writing the original comment. Is that normal?I'm trying out the new image drag and drop option, but I think this was the same when having to navigate to the image from the device. ThanksMatt

Hey, we're building an EDS site for a client and ideally we don't want the .live or .page site to be crawlable or accessible publicly. We want some sort of security or VPN (or login) around it? Is this possible? What options do I have?

A developer needs to make template T available as a child page of page P. The developer has determined that:Template T matches cq:allowedTemplates property on page P.Template T has no allowedPaths Property set.Template T is not in the same application as page P.The template of page P has no match on the allowedParents property of template T.Template T has no match on the allowedTemplate property on the template of page P.What should the developer change? Make Page P match allowedPaths property of template T. Make the allowedParents property of template T match the template of page P. Clear the allowedParents property of template T. Migrate template T to the same application as Page P.

An AEM Developer creates a custom OAK index for /content/mywebsite under /oak:index node. While testing the live site. It is found that the index is not being applied to any query within the website. Default Lucene indexes with high cost are being picked up by the AEM.What is the most likely of the issue? The custom OAK lucene index is missing evaluatePathRestrictions property and includedPaths property The Custom OAK lucene index is missing evaluatePathRestrictions property and queryPaths property The Custom Oak Lucene index must include boost property to rank it higher than default Lucene index The custom OAK Lucene index must be replaced with OAK Lucene Property index

Hi All,Till AEM 6.5 if we need to update the confidence score for Smart tag we can update com.day.cq.dam.similaritysearch.internal.impl.SimilaritySearchServiceImpl OSGi Config. However this is no longer available in AEMasCloud. For updating confidence score of Video asset we can use com.adobe.cq.assetcompute.impl.senseisdk.SenseiSdkImpl.cfg.json with below value { "minVideoActionConfidenceScore":0.5, "minVideoObjectConfidenceScore":0.5, }Looking for similar OSGI config for Image Asset and its config values.  Thank you

I've worked on a couple of Adobe implementations and with the tool itself for a number of years, and I don't recall ever seeing something like this. Instead of showing me zeroes where no data/counts exists the rows themselves are blank. What causes this? Is this normal?

AEM 6.5.21 (on-prem)AEM Guides v4.6 (on-prem, UUID) GlossariesWhen including glossaries and glossary entries in topics, the glossaries do generate correctly and the glossary entry links generate in the Native PDF Publishing PDF correctly, but the glossSurfaceForm and glossAcronym do not. With multiple uses of a glossary entry in a topic, the title element is the link instead of only the first instance using the title and the following instances using the acronym. This is true with both Native PDF Publishing and the AEM Sites outputs. Is this by design? Or will the glossSurfaceForm and glossAcronym eventually work as DITA intends them to work?

Hey everyone, We have an EDS website which we want to deploy on our AEM Cloud CDN using Edge Delivery Solution. (Screenshot below)I do understand the steps needed to configure and connect an EDS website to a Domain. However, this single domain instance will then be our production. I want a staging environment before in this pipeline, so it should somehow look like this:main----.aem.live ---> www.stagingURL.com ----> www.productionURL.com Is that pipeline possible in this configuration for EDS? What are the recommended best practices?  Thank you 🙂

I have three translation Projects in "Committed for Translation" and not flowing into our TMS for translation. Now that I have confirmed the language mapping is correct (it wasn't), is there a way to push these files from "committed for translation" to "in process" without having to create entirely new translation Projects? I can create new Projects, but that would also create problems with all the "in progress" files (knowing which ones are shared between documents and which ones were sent out in the first batch and need to be re-sent). AEM 6.5.21 (on-prem installation (21 Dec 2024)AEM Guides v4.6 (UUID, on-prem installation (21 Dec 2024)GlobalLink AEMP Connector: 6.4.3GlobalLink AEMC Connector: 2.6.0

In my EDS Xwalk project, I want to add data attributes to individual dialog fields. For example, a text field includes default attributes like data-aue-prop="title", data-aue-label="Title", and data-aue-type="text". Similarly, if I want to add a new data attribute like data-field-id to specific dialog fields, what steps should I follow?

Does anyone know where to find the Adobe Audience Manager Unique User ID when working with advertising destinations? Thanks!

Migrating workloads from Adobe Campaign (campaign V7) to Adobe Experience platform (RTCDP), Is using a third party CDP a good approach? what wis the best practice or recommended approach?

Hello,  I recently activated several segments to a Facebook Destination account, and I am seeing a large number of identity failures. I do have several non-identity email & phone number source fields mapped to their respective target fields for the destination. Would this be causing an issue? All of my source data is in the proper format for activations, I do know there is a composite key within our Email identity map, so I expect some errors from this. Additionally, will RTCDP activate all emails for a profile within the Identity Maps?    TLDR summary of questions:Can I map multiple source fields to the email & phone target fields? Will all values for a profile within the "IdentityMap: Phone_E.164" & "IdentityMap: Email_LC_SHA256" namespaces distribute to the Facebook destination? Is there a way to get more details to why identities failed, other than the brief description?Thank you for the help and guidance.

HelloWe want to collect our customers preferences about locations they would like us to update them on (eg if there is a service outage). This is a B2B example where a company may have many employees, so there may be multiple locations they need to be kept informed about. Are there any third-party tools that help with collecting location?I am thinking search autocomplete, where the person filling in the form starts typing the location and a small list that start with the same letters appears.I have seen it used on websites for when customers are searching for something eg holidays.Has anyone done this for forms? What tool did you use? Thanks

Hi all, JCR is not a database, therefore whether it is SQL DB or NONSQL DB does not arise. But Solr is a blazing fast, open source NoSQL Database Search engine and can access JCR. How is it possible as JCR is not a NONSQL database?Does it mean that Solr works on non data bases also? Appreciate all your responses. Thanks,RK.

We are loading more than 100 records per lead in CO since it is a business requirement. Marketo application have a limitation, It only allows to access 100 records on UI and in velocity script. Therefore, we want to load data in specific order so top 100 records as per their order amount can be accessible in velocity script and also displayed on UI.We are retrieving data in descending order from database and then load it in Marketo. We have custom field "Sequence" as a dedupe field and it get incremented for every record. This is how we load records in Marketo via api.Sequence    Order Amount          1                    1302                    1203                    1104                    100....120          &nbsp

I have a scenario, where I tried to segregate people into 3 different static lists based on below criteria: Add to list: Choice 1:If 'preferred Language Segment' is 'Bahasa'-Then add to 'Test List 1' Choice 2:If 'Random Sample' is '50'Then add to 'Split list 1' Default choice :Add to 'Split list 2'Total audience count is 51488.Total people with Bahasa Preferred language segment from above audience is 27039. We expected rest people (24,449) would be equally split (12,224 &12,225) between remaining two lists (Split list 1 & 2), but as you can see below,  the vast majority of people were added to 'Split list 1'.Split list 1 - 21922Split list 2 - 2527 Can you please someone help me understand why choice 2 and default conditions weren't split equally? If we use Random sample as choice 2, will it consider only remaining people from choice 1 or entire audience who qualified?Test List 1 - 27039Split list 1 - 21922Split list 2 - 2527

We are trying to get publisher and use that in the custom email template to send a notification. String currentUser = workItem.getCurrentAssignee();The above returns "null"String currentUser = resourceResolver.getUserID();The above one returns "workflow-process-service"Can we use workitem used to return the current user

Hi Everyone,Currently, in my project, we handle URL shortening using dispatcher rules like below.Example: www.domain.com/us/en/testpage.html -> internal redirect to /content/project/us/en/home/testpageNow, we have a new requirement: we need to achieve this without using a dispatcher rules.Example:If I access www.domain.com/us/en/testpage.html or www.domain.com/testpage.html, it should resolve to the path /content/project/us/en/home/testpage  Experts, kindly suggest your solutions. Thanks in advance!

I would like to create a segment for the previous 4 weeks, but that adjusts based upon my date selection and isn't tied to the current date like the screenshot of the Date Range setup below. So if I select the first week of December 2024, then it would return the 4 previous weeks in November. Is there any way to accomplish this?

I am trying to get unique visitors data from PBI connector. The problem is the data is correct only at the granualarity at which the data is being pulled (say daily). If I sum it up at the monthly level it leads to a lot of duplicates. What is the best way to get this data from PBI connector. Getting data at visitor id level could be too much?
