Hello all,I'm looking for advanced material about the AEM Business Practionner certification, especially more sample questions than the ones available on SPP (AEM_6_Business_Practitioner_EG.pdf).Do you think than the online partner formations are enough to go to the certification ? Thanks

In the create Feed section, if instead of FTP, we select URL than which URL we should have it? Could it be URL of AEM DAM if we save our file there?

Hi I am currently working on AEM 6.4. I have created my own project specific editable template/conf/project-xyz/settings/wcm/template-types/conf/project-xyz/settings/wcm/template/conf/project-xyz/settings/wcm/policiesI have created a default policy for title component as below/conf/project-xyz/settings/wcm/policies          project-xyz               components                    content                         title                              policy_1433655In my filter.xml file i have allowed as below:<filter root="/conf/project-xyz/settings/wcm/policies" mode="merge" />When I am trying to deploy this policy, it is not getting updated in CRx/de.If i remove mode=merge from filter.xml, This newly created policy for title gets deployed in Crx/de<filter root="/conf/project-xyz/settings/wcm/policies" />With mode=merge, the policy is not getting updated in Crx/de.Any help will be really appreciatedThanksHina

Hi!I am talking about version 6.0 classic UI here.Currently we have 4 fields in Image Map Tool, HREF, Text, Target and Coordinates.I want to add more text fields here. I tried to find any js but didn't find anything. Thanks in advance.

After attempting to get some basic info from support, I am hoping to get some advice from all of you!We are revamping our Marketo instance. We want to change all of our program attribution parameters (they were not set up well a few years ago) - including tags, channels, and success steps. We will also be doing a lot of folder clean up. Do any of you have any high-level tips? Here are some specific questions:1. If we move folders, do we need to worry about anything? Folders are just folders, correct, and should not trigger anything.2. We were planning on just hiding all outdated current channel tags (and creating new ones to fill gaps) so they are not useable, but prior to that, we will need to change some of the success steps on a few that will remain in production. What might this do? Our webinars are synched with SFDC (not many other programs are - see the problem) and will be one that we leave - and hide existing statuses we don't need. Have any of you seen issues with this?3. What

down voteavoHi friend, can you guide me Integrate Tomcat server to AEM.1) Installed Tomcat 8.5, conf directory on that port changed to 45022) Open /opt/tomcat/apache-tomcat-8.5.33/crx-quickstart/bin/catalina.sh and add enough memory set JAVA_OPTS=-Xmx1792m -XX:MaxPermSize=512m3) Rename cq-quickstart-5.6.0-20130125.war to ROOT.war4) Extract the file web.xml in ROOT.war (ROOT.war\WEB-INF\web.xml) onto the filesystem. Open extracted web.xml in a text editor and change init-param sling.home from crx-quickstart to /opt/tomcat/apache-tomcat-8.5.33/crx-quickstart<init-param> <param-name>sling.home</param-name> <param-value>/opt/tomcat/apache-tomcat-8.5.33/crx-quickstart</param-value> </init-param> 5) Copy ROOT.war to /opt/tomcat/apache-tomcat-8.5.33/webappsOpen cmd prompt at /opt/tomcat/apache-tomcat-8.5.33/bin and start server using the command$ sudo ./catalina.sh run6)Check the folder /opt/tomcat/apache-tomcat-8.5.33/crx-quickstart and the following folder

Does anyone know the best way to get Marketo segmentations added as fields on the contact records in SFDC? For normal fields, we'd create the field in SFDC, give our integration user permissions to read/write the field, then I'd build the various Marketo pieces to update that field as needed, but segmentations don't point to a specific field, right?

Can you please let us know if there is a cloud service available for PDF generation (through REST API Call).?. We are currently using AEM product on premises to generate the PDF files by placing the input XML files in the watched folder. The PDF templates are available as XDP files created used designer. Now, with the application getting moved to cloud, we are looking for cloud service from Adobe which can be used to create the PDF file using the XML input data and XDP templates. Please help with this information or point me to the documentation where we can get help. Also, I would like to know if there is any way by which we can use this service in the trial mode to check the product.Thanks.

what is delayed and immediate component in simple words ?i found somehwere in google :Delayed ComponentActivation is not done until there is a request for a service object. Therefore even class loading and instantiation can be delayed until that time. A Delayed Component needs to specify a service.Immediate ComponentActivated as soon as its dependencies are satisfied. An Immediate Component does not need to specify a serviceI didnt get this specifying service things ?As per my understanding if we put@Component(immediate = true/false)we will get Delayed and Immediate component on that basis .Can anyone please explain to me in my case if I am having one service Hellosrviceimplem.java and helloservice interface ....and put @Component(immediate = true/false) what would be the scenerio?

Hi All,Is there any way to download a file directly from a document management system like dropbox and save it in AEM dam location like "/content/dam/".I referred this article http://www.tothenew.com/blog/making-dropbox-documents-available-in-aem/ for "Making Dropbox documents available in AEM".Using above article I'm able to fetch dropbox file metadata information and asset node creation with metadata but I want to download and save the complete file under dam location.I referred the Dropbox Java Core API v1 as well and found following code for download file from dropbox  https://www.dropbox.com/developers-v1/core/start/javaFileOutputStream outputStream = new FileOutputStream("magnum-opus.txt"); try { DbxEntry.File downloadedFile = client.getFile("/magnum-opus.txt", null, outputStream); System.out.println("Metadata: " + downloadedFile.toString()); } finally { outputStream.close(); }But here is one problem "How to use OutputStream in AEM" OR is there any other way to download file direc

I've encountered a sudden issue where making a Smart List showing Opened Email = is - "email name" is not showing any results. Even though I know from the Email Performance report that the email was opened. Anyone else having this problem or can think of a reason this would no longer work? I have many older emails showing correct results for Opened Email.

I was looking at the Documentation for Adobe Heartbeat and it says that the Average Bitrate metric is...I'm not sure I understand what it means when it says "The value is predefined buckets at 100kbps intervals." Could someone elaborate on that? Also when it says weighted average does that mean that some of the bitrate values don't contribute as much as others? e.g. a bitrate value for a BitrateChange event might contributed less than the bitrate for a Play event.

Hi all,I have an SMS Gateway integrated with Adobe Campaign. The problem is it can only send SMS messages with the country code in front of the number, but most of our customer data does not contain the country code. We are in Australia (Country code +61) but mobile numbers start in 04. Thus, most of the mobile numbers in our database are stored as "04xx xxx xxx" when they need to be "614xx xxx xxx". Is there any way in a workflow or the data loading/update data function to change all entries that start with 04 to start with 614?This is Adobe Campaign Classic v7Many thanks,Alex

Hello together,we are using AEM 6.1 with the Social Components Framework (SCF).The following problem is occurring:We are using the Comments component and allow replies to comments. This results in nested comments which need to be loaded via AJAX via the "load more" button. But we also implemented sharing, and want to link to the anchor of the comment. However, this is not possible, since not all comments are loaded, when the page loads (just topLevel comments). Is there eithera way to force SCF to load all comments?or a way to deeplink to a comment and just load this one?We don't want to send an AJAX request for each reply of a comment, as the HandleBars loadmore feature does. Thanks in advance, maybe we are missing something really obvious.Cheers,Tim
