I have a component embbedded onto a page using the following HTL markup:

In my component's HTL I am using the java-use to access a local Java Class for logic:<sly data-sly-use.articleSlider="ArticleSlider"></sly>Within my Java class, I am accessing component dialog properties which are added by an author, but for some reason I can't simply use the get("propertyName", "String.class"). Trying to understand why I can't do that, but i can access it when using getProperties() method:@Override public void activate() throws Exception { String featureByGetProperties = getProperties().get("featureone", ""); // <- THIS WORKS String featureByGet = get("featureone", String.class); // <- THIS IS NULL }Everything I read (including the AEM Documentation) tells me that simply using the get() method should grab the property from the resource. Just trying to understand why one works and not

I'm trying to capture tracking code data from URLs on forms that are on standalone pages. We are running campaigns with tracked links to a landing page, but when visitors leave the landing page to go to a form, we lose the url paramater data. Is there a way to retain these paramaters for the leads that fill out the forms on other pages?

We are looking at implementing SSO for AEM instance (IdP will use LDAP AD).A couple of questions that I have,1. Do we first have to manually create the user(s) in AEM (with same userid as in AD)?2. Do we also have to first create the groups and add member appropriately to ensure permissible access to the repository?Otherwise is there an alternate way to have the users and groups created automatically by pulling in data from AD?

I need to manually import a new set of data in my custom object a few times. Each time I import a new list, some deletion of records must occur. I wonder if Marketo will automatically delete the old records in the custom object if they are no longer present in a new imported list, or do I need to clear all data in the custom object before importing a new list?Thank you!

Hi all,I have a quick question regarding email templates. It is possible to add segmentations to email templates?As an example: let's say I want to create an email template, but I want to segment a part of the email by country and add different content per country.Is this possible and if so, what is the best way to implement this?Kind Regards,Ricky

Hello,Is there any way to recreate percent change? Meaning I would like to have not the difference between two time periods in % but in absolute value. For example: column 1 = 50€ and column 2 = 100€; the percent change would give me a result equal to 100%; but I would like to have equal to 50€.I'm not able to edit the Percent Change eventough I saw a video that states I was supposed to. If I could create a metric with 'target date range' and 'compare date range' the problem could be solved but i don't know how to, or if it's even possible. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot!

Hello!We have a field in Marketo of the type URL. The values in that field are full URLs, like: timetrade.com/app/....If I want to bring these URLs into emails using the token like that:that link doesn't get decorated = redirected = tracked. I know, it's because the "" part of the link is in the token and not on the email as it should. Is there any way I can have this link decorated nonetheless?Thanks!Michael

My organization is currently cleaning up our site. We have several sub entities each with probably hundreds of PDF files that exist in CQ5 that need to be tagged. I'm part of one of those sub entities. We are doing this one file at a time. Are there any more efficient ways that this can be done? I was hoping that they could just send me a spreadsheet with my files and I could just update that to add names, entity, descriptions, and tags for the files that could be used to update the database, but I'm not in IT so maybe that's not possible?

Hi,I am trying to understand how to choose between Granite UI and Classic UI Dialog Boxes. When to choose what.I am reading just that For a better user experience, we would use the touch-optimized dialog box.There are a ton of differences between these two documented, but I am not getting answer to my question.For the developer what is the implication? Ex: Lesser coding, ease of maintenance, etc.For the end user what is the implication? Ease of authoring, ability to author from mobile devices also, etc.The traditional meaning of Touch UI, meaning the ability to author content using mobile devices etc will hold good here as well?The Classic UI uses a widget library called ExtJS. Is this statement still valid, as I read that AEM got rid of ExtJS?Appreciate your responses.Thanks,Rama.

Hello Community,I understrand that AEM comes with a generic ecommerce Framework as outlined here:https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-3/develop/ecommerce/generic.htmlI also found that its Hybris extension only supports hybris server versiob up to hybris 5.7.0.3 with OCC version 2.I also believe that this question is relatede to an earlier request:http://help-forums.adobe.com/content/adobeforums/en/experience-manager-forum/adobe-experience-manager.topic.html/forum__fx6z-hi_1_we_arework.htmlCan you please confirm if there is any (or no) plan to support Hybris 6 in near future?Thank you!Varun

Hi Everyone, We are running into an issue with a process with Sales Insights. We were looking to have tasks generated for our reps when they would send a 1:1 email from the Sales Insights and the recipient would click the link in the email. This works fine when I say send an email to myself from the Database in Marketo, but nothing is happening when sent from the Sales Insights. Is this out of the ordinary or is this working correctly? Any work around ideas?Thanks!Alec

Hello people,We are experiencing similar issue as this huge discussion Spam filters registering clicks? . However the situation is slightly different from what's reported there. Today, after sending out an email, more than 20 leads were qualified as MQLs based on lead score they (or the spam filters) earned. In my case, they did not have "opened email" activity but have "clicked email" and "visited webpage". I was thinking to tweak the global lead scoring for Click activity asClicked email is ANYand, Opened email is ANYthen I realized that this filter may still add score for Click if someone opened Email A in person in the past and a spam filter clicked Email B that was sent out today. Is there any way to set the trigger with Opened Email B and Clicked Email B in the global lead scoring smart campaign?

Hello all,is there any JSAPI function or a way to get the XML source of any object within adobe campaign as if you would display it in the console client? Kind regards,Marcel

Hi, I have a simple query where I'm trying to use greater-than or less-than in a query.  The documentation has multiple examples of this, such as:<where>  <condition expr="(@age > 15 or @age <= 45) and  (@city = 'Newton' or @city = 'Culver City') "/></where>However, when I use a similar query, <condition expr="@id < 5000"/> I get the response:      <SOAP-ENV:Fault>         <faultcode>SOAP-ENV:Client</faultcode>         <faultstring xsi:type="xsd:string">The XML SOAP message is invalid (service 'ExecuteQuery', method 'xtk:queryDef').</faultstring>         <detail xsi:type="xsd:string">(16:38) : A '<' character cannot be used in attribute 'expr', except through <...So then I try as the error message suggests and use '&lt' instead of <<condition expr="@id &lt 5000"/>and I get a different error message: <faultstring xsi:type="xsd:string">The XML SOAP message is invalid (service

Hi, potentially very niche conversion tracking logic below:We have a series of actions on our secure site which do not trigger a confirmation page on a uniquely identifiable URL. Instead, the visitor is taken back to the account overview page, and shown a 'Successful transaction' type message (within a div).The confirmation message is the only evidence of the conversion, and appears only when a transaction is completed on the previous page. The div is removed from the HTML after a couple seconds (not just hidden, gone entirely).Ideally we'd create an Mbox on this div, but my concern is that it is removed from the page. Clearly we can't add/change content in this case, but would a 'viewed mbox' conversion still trigger?We currently capture the success metric via Google Tag Manager passing a success event in to the data layer. Is there any way that Target could capture this metric in a similar way? Could we, for example, pass a temporary parameter in to an existing mbox, and track views

Does anyone in the community have experience in both Marketo and Adobe Campaign?I am brand new to Adobe (today is my first day using it), but have a heavy background in Marketo. I am wondering how other people have found the transition from Marketo to Adobe-- does a background in Marketo lend itself to success within Adobe? How steep is the learning curve when making that transition? Any tips or documentation that might be useful for someone coming over from another platform?I am used to knowing how to navigate the system, and since this is all new to me, I would appreciate any insights, suggestions and pro tips.Thanks in advance!Steve

Hi there,google.com is appearing in my 'referring domain's channel in last touch marketing channel report - how does this differ from paid/natural search? Is it double-counting?Thanks

Has anyone used Knak and, if so, do you think it made it easier to create customized Marketo templates?How It Works – knak.
