Solved

Hi, we are looking to use background images in our email design and we are wondering how they are coded using images from AEM.

Hey Adobe gurus.adobe campaign classic v7 7.4.1 I am working for a client to change their login in their web applications. right now it is hard coded into the flow for the web application.I want to change that to being wither the SSO from the user og the operator. I tried looking at access control in properties, "Enable Access Control" and i get a Not authorized to accessbut i can't find the documentation on how to find out where to setup these logins if it is the correct procedure.  the overall problem is i want the hard coded users gone and give it some authentic login! if i am going in the wrong direction feel free to tell me what else i could look into !  Best regards Robert.

Hi all, I'm having some trouble with the data sources FTP upload failing to process my files - I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I haven't managed to find what it is, and data sources isn't providing any reason for the failure.I'm uploading some order information to connect with purchases on my site that are missing information, so the file is in the following format (only uploading one row to test the data source for now)Date Product Price Orders transactionID10/14/2024/13/41/00 REGCIT 999 1 GBU1363065As far as I can tell, the date is in the correct format, the columns are separated by tabs, and it is a valid purchase ID from my site - is there something I'm missing that would cause a processing failure on this file? The data source is of the type Product Cost as this seemed the closest to what I wanted Thanks in advance 🙂

This has just started happening a few days ago. Is anyone else experiencing this or know how to fix it? I don't know the exact day it started happening but my guess is that it's related to the new October '24 release that went live on Oct 7.

Dear All,How can I conduct a step-by-step audit of Adobe Analytics reports to identify findings? I want to use these insights to make recommendations that will impress the client.Thank you

Can we integrate an ui framework into EDS project?

I was following the guide for EDS https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/edge-delivery/wy... and I saw that we need a GitHub account. In the company we don't have this type of repository and we are wondering if there is another alternative to use other repositories. Thanks in advance!

I know score is not a field type for the PMCF fields. Is there a workaround to create a field that can +X whenever a campaign triggers? Use case here is that we want to see how many emails people are clicking within a campaign. Thanks

We currently have two Marketo instances to support different business areas within our company. Although these businesses are interconnected, we opted for separate instances due to compliance requirements and distinct user groups. One use case we’re exploring is identifying how many users from Instance A also exist in Instance B and have a sort of flag across the record, while ensuring no exchange of PI data and maintaining data security. Is it possible to handle this directly within Marketo, or would a third-party service be needed for data matching? Has anyone ever tried connecting two Marketo instances before?

I am currently showcasing the orders, revenue using the last touch marketing channel. I also have tracking codes. At each tracking code level, the order and revenue are different then marketing channel.  So, my question is should I showcase to stakeholder revenue by tracking code or by marketing channels as I do not want to confuse them with it.

Hi,  We Implemented products variable in our app based on this article, https://developer.adobe.com/client-sdks/documentation/adobe-analytics/product-variable/#products-variable-with-merchandising-evars-and-product-specific-events and App developer has been Implemented the Products Variable code. How to configure Products variable in Adobe Analytics or AEP mobile SDK?  Thanks!

Hi, I'm trying to write SQL Code on our Adobe Daily Web Traffic Source Table. I want to match our page views from Adobe Workspace to our Database downstream query based on the Marketing Channel Processing Rules. Our first rule is Paid Search and it's based on the Paid Search Detection Rules. How do I mimic this downstream? How do I get a list of all the possible referrers/Search Engines that constitute as Paid Search? Do I need to write out an entire list for the POST_REFERRER column with all these hundreds of search engines? Some helpful links I've referenced:https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/analytics/admin/admin-tools/manage-report-suites/edit-report-suite/report-suite-general/paid-search-detection/paid-search-detectionhttps://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/analytics/export/analytics-data-feed/data-feed-contents/datafeeds-referenceThanks!

Is there a way to access application JS variables in launch script? In our application, we store the data received in service calls into a Javascript variable, how do i access this variable in my Data elements in AEP data collection?, the documentation i looked at point to creating a data element of type "Javascript variable" but they are not pointing to any implementation as such. also, looking to see if this can be implemented without the data layer.

I have two components in separate pages. I want to show the authored data of component 1 in component 2. Is there someway we can achieve this without the creation of a content api? If possible is it possible to pull the entire htl of component 1 in component 2?Preferably using HTL itself?

Hello there,I am using NodeSDK on the react code base to send requests to prefetch offers. I am seeing most of the values are coming back undefined from the Adobe server, is there a reason? Am I missing anything in the request? My request is simple:    prefetch: { mboxes: [ { index: 0, name: 'mbox Name' } ] }

Has anyone managed to keep the formatting (like bullets and numbers) from a “text with formatting” field when it’s transferred into the body of an email module? I am returning the below when the email has been sent. I am using the HTML content type option.  Our team wants to bullet or number key information and ensure that this formatting is preserved when it appears in the email.

What are some good resources for learning Java development for building AEM components? I currently am a front end developer, but need to learn the backend. I’m looking at classes on Experience League, Udemy, etc., but am trying to identify what Java courses I could take that are relevant to AEM component development.

When I am hitting this API Assets: curl --location '{aem_host_url}/bin/querybuilder.json?type=dam%3AAsset&path=%2F&path.self=false&p.limit=1000&p.offset=0' \ --header 'Authorization: Basic {basic_auth_credentials}' Getting 500 error code. What might be the issue.

I have a Projects report that shows the last made comment on a Project. I would like to show only comments that were NOT made by one specific group of people, SUPPORT.  The report is set up to show comments if the notes is not blank and if the project was updated last by not SUPPORT.But this may still result in showing comments made by SUPPORT, if the SUPPORT group left the last comment and then the owner loads a document but does not leave a comment. **Keeping this as a project report allows the Support users to "resolve" the comment by making the next update to the Project essentially clearing the comment from the report. I was using text mode to try to get at Last Note - Owner Home Group ID - does not equal - SUPPORT I just can't determine what that string would be.  This is what i have tried with no luck lastNote:owner:homeGroupID=584eb575000bd72994a1add416e3d90flastNote:owner:homeGroupID_Mod=notin

I want to restrict access to teams to be able to see the websites for dev and stage on an AEMaaCS implementation. I can't add a whitelist as all of the developers/qa's e.t.c are working from home and don't have a fixed IP Address I thought it would. be easy to just add an .htaccess file and restict it, however I can't see how this will work as i don't know the location of the password file.

We have a requirement to create header using tabs component. We have added this tab component in Header.html file using below code: <header>    <sly data-sly-resource="${ @9556322 = header, resourceType = '/apps/abc/components/content/tabs', wcmmode=mode}"></sly></header> In the pages, we are not able to add any tab item.We need to allow only one specific component to be added to the tabs in this scenario. We tried to add policies but its giving PersistenceEsxception: unable to create node at /conf/abc/settings/wcm/policies. Any suggestions on this issue how to fix it? @kautuk_sahni @arunpatidar @aanchal-sikka @EstebanBustamante @Raja_Reddy @TarunKumar @Saravanan_Dharmaraj @Jörg_Hoh @lukasz-m
