Solved

I have my LP all built and ready to go but I need to add two more custom fields to the form as well as change the text on the button. Can I do this within the landing page without having to build a new form or no?

Is it possible to import a score field of +1, so that a score field of X gets updated to X+1 upon import?

I've got a bunch of quick questions - would love your help!1. What do you do with content that you need to go out on a specific day to whoever is currently in the engagement program? Do you just bring it to the top and change the stream cadence to time that content, then change the cadence back later once that content has been cast?2. If my cadence is set at every 2 weeks, will new leads that come into the drip get content on those dates even if they just joined the drip, for example, the day before? If so, then I assume I just add a wait step before the add to engagemeng program flow?3. I want to change program status to Engaged if they click on any link in an email - will the below smart list in the engagemeng program only count clicks in emails WITHIN the engagement program, or across the entire system (which I don't want)?4. What's the best trigger campaign to use to add any new staff that join the company to engagement programs?

Hi allCan I a/b test my emails within an engagement stream? I want to test the subject line (say 20% of the audience get the split test) then send the winning email to the remaining 80% of the group. This is our first ever engagement stream we are running. We are sending one email a week. Please help! Thanks

I have to redo a couple of event programs which is a bit of a mess because the SFDC campaigns that are synced to these programs, the leads are not relevant to the events. Since we redid the channel steps, is it better to just archive the current program and then start a new program with the updated channel and sync to the new and improved SFDC campaigns, and do some batch campaigns to move those who have the registered, pending and decline status into this new program, or should I just unsync the current event programs from the old SFDC campaigns to the new one and then also switch channel type?

We have an active Engagement Program turned on with only one Stream that has 3 emails in it. We would like to AB test two whole emails with a random distribution of records for the first email.Any recommendations on how to set this up?Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to use the same Marketo form in multiple places on an external site and direct users to multiple external URLs?

Hi all -I've got an expanding table (rows can be added) and I'm trying to use the footer row of the column to compute the average of cells that don't have a value of 0.Form Calc is usually great, but in this instance, I need to divide the sum by the number of cells that are not zero and I'm not sure how to do that via Form Calc.Successfully used javascript to both identify the total number of instances and identify the number of instances that are zero, so the denominator part of the equation is fine. (# of instances - # of zeros = denominator.)Now it's just the numerator. It's got to be a loop, right? Table is called: table1Row is called: datacell is called: eValueAny thoughts? Or more efficient methods? Thanks so much.B

Hi! I recently moved companies and I was wondering if I could link my MCE to my new Marketo account. Does anyone know how to get that accomplished? I appreciate any help anyone can provide!

Hi everyone,I'm trying to find a way to add referrer parameters to the URL of each page of our website without having it negatively impact search rankings. This will help us capture which page led the lead to become known.Has anyone does this before?

Is it possible to export a campaign Smart List (made up of multiple Smart Lists) before sending the email?  We want to check the campaign lists against each other to ensure there are no duplicates.

I am looking for some advice/best practices on tracking visits to our booth at tradeshows.  What I would like to do is have an easy way for our Sales Reps to indicate that a lead or contact has visited our booth at a specific tradeshow without populating an excel spreadsheet and uploading this into Marketo or Salesforce.com.We attend 100+ tradeshows per year and our challenge is getting booth attendance info from the sales reps attending the shows, in a timely fashion, in order to do follow-up emails. One idea I had was to add a field in SFDC called 'Visited Booth at' and then create a picklist for each show we are registered to exhibit at.  Then, if a lead is already in our database, they would only need to find the contact record in SFDC and select the show attended from the drop down list and then will could set up a smart campaign in Marketo for the follow-up email based on that field. The one drawback of this would be updating the picklists to add new events and maintaining this ove

Hi, I am going to attend an exhibition, and am looking for a way to collect the leads I create. Does Marketo offer something I can use on a tablet that will allow my sales team to capture the leads so they go straight in to the system? Thanks,

Our communication limits are set to one email per day and 2 emails per week. If I send an email for a white paper offer, they download the WP, and they get a thank you email with the PDF link, will that count as both emails for the week? If so, is it best practice, then, to make all thank you emails operational?

I'm trying to create an Opportunity Influence Analyzer and know we've had many opportunities in the past year (my current time frame), but the accounts are not populating in the settings. What could be wrong?

http://info.stanjohnsonco.com/2015-ICSC-RECon-Vegas.htmlForm looks great in desktop view, but when I switch to mobile if aligns to the right insteadHere is the style that is applying but I can't figure out how to turn it off - suggestions?

In many of our emails we use program tokens to populate hyperlinks. I just realized these URLs are being sent out and there is no marketo tracking code attached to them, while any other hyperlink in the email works fine. Is this standard or a bug? I already put in a support ticket, but just curious while I WAIT>

Hi I have created a landing page we are going to use at PyCon this year for people to create accounts for our product.  We are going to have this on a Ipad at our booth and pass it to people who are interested in signing up.  I was looking for a way to have no prefil text inside the form fields.  I disabled pre-fill inside the form editor and still there are forms that get preloaded with text of the last form submit.  I try using some javascript to clear out the forms but have had not luck.  The form is on a landing page that is being iframed and displayed on another landing page.  Has anyone else run into an issue similar to this and have a solution they would willing to share?  Thanks!-John

As I'm just trying to gather details of the basic flow from amrketo to our salesforce instance (I'm fairly new to the org and no internal sfdc admin contact), can anyone offer any insight regarding what is likely occurring, here? On the SFDC side, there are marketo lead syncs coming over as "engaged.' I'm probably overlooking but thus far and on the marketo end, I'm seeing Lead Status under Field Mapping, two picklists ... one for Lead, the other Contact. My issue I guess is: I don't see the Lead Status under Fields. I'm trying to hunt this down just to reconcile things in my mind;-) I did see "string," so ... is this "engaged" status being passed at a lower level, via the integration? Thx!jz

Hello,I was wondering if there is a way to push specific Marketo emails to SFDC as actvities as opposed to every email. Thanks,Devraj

The following doc explains how to use email scripting:http://developers.marketo.com/documentation/email-scripting/I am trying to go exactly where the doc tells me to in order to create scripts, but it only has: Calendar File, Date, Number, Rich Text, Score, SFDC Campaign, Text.  There is no 'Email Script' option.  I need to be able to create scripts so that I can pull various Opportunity/Account data into my email.

hello,we have a dynamic list that we would like to target for a product testing campaign. However, in order to be sure that product will handle the volume of requests, we would like to split randomly in a series of small lists that we'll target on different days. So to recap we would like to send 1/10 of list A on day 1, 1/10 of list A on day 2, 1/10 of list A on day 3... until day 10. Is it possible? How should we proceed?Cécile @ Talend

We recently deployed an email where one of the Smart List critieria was "Email Is" with 12 separate email address. While the rest of the smart list deployed correctly (Marked "Use Any Filters"; one was a Member of SFDC campaign; the second was member of a list), this third criteria only delivered to SOME of the 12 email address. The contact records don't show a delivery attempt in their activity history.Any ideas?

Hi,We use a custom page (Marketo landing page with form) to let people manage their email preferences and unsubscribe.  We recently came across the issue where a user unsubscribed from our emails, we then sent an email to them but using a different email address.  Then they clicked on that email to unsubscribe however it is pre-populating/pre-filling the original email address which it has rememberd through the Marketo Cookie.  This means that unless they update the page manually or delete their cookies, they will not be able to unsubscribe from the second email address. Is there a way to make form pre-fill's update if a user clicks through/visits the page with a new email address/one that is different from the original cookie, has anyone else encountered this?  The only solution I can currently see is to go back to a one click unsubscribe as this is a potentially huge issue given the number of people who use multiple email addresses. Thanks,Simon

I have a landing page and form that are only used internally, but the team will be entering prospect or customer information into the form to be sent to a partner. What's the best way to turn off cookies so I don't have incorrect data overwriting existing CRM data?
