I have a requirement to know after an asset is replicated whether it was replicated to the preview instance or the publish instance. Anyone has any idea how can I get this inside the Event handler?The code below was implemented for another purpose. How can I implement the above-mentioned requirement in this? @9944223 public void handleEvent(Event event) { processEventIfNeeded(event); } private void processEventIfNeeded(Event event) { ReplicationAction replicationAction = ReplicationAction.fromEvent(event); String eventType = replicationAction.getType().getName(); String eventPath = replicationAction.getPath(); if ((eventType.equals(REPLICATIONACTION_ACTIVATE) || eventType.equals(REPLICATIONACTION_DEACTIVATE)) && eventPath.startsWith("/content/dam")) { processAssets(eventPath, eventType); } }

I have a requirement to extend the functionality of the Quick Publish button. Currently, when a user clicks it, the page and its references are published, and a version of the page is created.I want to customize this functionality so that after the version is created, an email is sent to specific people in a particular user group.Additionally, this new functionality should apply only to a few selected user groups.I am considering two options and would appreciate any guidance:Is there a way to extend the functionality of the existing Quick Publish button to achieve this?Alternatively, can I create a new button and implement the complete functionality from scratch, applying it only to the selected user groups?@arunpatidar

TeamWe are redesigning our site. Both old and new site will be on AEM 6.5. Only the UX/UI will change. I want to know is there a way to automate the process programmatically migrate the content?Site is a headless e-commerce platform containing many product details page numbering to close 140+.All the product information, images etc. are manually authored in AEM.  I understand following steps functionally1. Content Inventorying of current e-comm site with all the product information. 2. Do a mapping exercise of current template or form fields to new forms field.  I am keeping it at a very high-level. But is there a standard process to achieve this with minimum manual effort? Our US team is really lean and no one has time to sit and manually copy paste content.

Hi All, We have below full text query which is used to find pages under certain hierarchy and also with specific type of resourceType. Sample query 1:fulltext=random textgroup.1_path=/content/us/engroup.2_path=/content/ca/engroup.p.or=trueproperty = jcr:content/sling:resourceTypeproperty.1_value = project-one/components/structure/article-detailproperty.2_value = project-two/components/structure/article-detail We are getting results for above query in 300-400 milliseconds. Now we have to bring ALL the pages under certain hierarchy and also with specific type of resourceType. (somewhat initially loading of articles on homepage) we are using same query but not using "fulltext" property. Sample query 2:group.1_path=/content/us/engroup.2_path=/content/ca/engroup.p.or=trueproperty = jcr:content/sling:resourceTypeproperty.1_value = project-one/components/structure/article-detailproperty.2_value = project-two/components/structure/article-detail Here we are ge

I'm trying to implement a component in AEM where it will show articles/products based on previous search. It's more of a functionality like recommended videos that come in YouTube. As of now, the functionality is set to fetch the articles based on the inputs provided in the dialog so that it can query the pipeline accordingly and get the data. But going forward we would like to implement something like auto-generated articles that would come up in the component and the results should be based on what the user has previously searched across the site. If there's no match we want to display the closest results possible.If someone could help with insights/ideas on how we can implement the same. Thanks!

Hi,I have created a sling fliter to rename image name having space with "-". It's working in aem sdk but not working on RDE,DEV or higher environment.I have done the same code as mentioned here:https://experience-aem.blogspot.com/2020/08/aem-6550-modify-filename-on-upload-before-executing-dam-update-asset-workflow.htmlfinal var requestParts = (Iterator<?>) slingRequest.getAttribute("request-parts-iterator");this is null in higher environment(RDE, DEV, Stage...) but working in local.

Hello, can someone confirm for me the functionality that's available in the Review Task Assign to drop-down? I can select individual users then I have the option to select groups by role. When you select a group by role: * Does this send the topic/topics to each person with that role, provided they're in your review project?* If I update the review task, does this resend the review task to all reviewers assigned?* Why do the group names include one of my reviewer's names and how would I remove that?Thanks!

Hi Everyone,Similar issue has been faced, however no resolution:Unpublished pages in AEM are being included in sitemap.xml Even after un-publishing pages in AEM are being included in sitemap.xmlThe above screenshot is from publisher instance where de-sitemap.xml was un-published from author instance and verified that the page is not present over on publish instance but sitemap generation schedular is unable to delete it from /var/sitemaps/content/aot/global/de-sitemap.xml

Hi Team, Please give more details on Journey AI whether it supports Adobe Campaign classic v7 & v8. If not,what is the alternate solution we can look into Adobe campaign classic to implement  Send-time Optimization and  Engagement Scoring. Thank you

I have created a field in a workflow temporary schema (for the sake of this example, called fieldToUpdate).I have a JavaScript activity and I want this to update the content of the field 'fieldToUpdate' to "Y" for record flowing through the activity as follows:var myXML = <queryDef schema="temp:query3" operation="select"> <select> <node expr="fieldToUpdate"/> </select> </queryDef> var query = xtk.queryDef.create(myXML) var res = query.ExecuteQuery() for each (var rcp in res.query3){ var myXMLwrite = <query3 xtkschema="temp:query3" fieldToUpdate="Y" operation="insertOrUpdate" _key="???"/>; xtk.session.Write(myXMLwrite) } I am able to update persistent schemas without difficulty, but my inability to identify the key value for rows in a temporary schema is blocking my progress here.

I know this may not be best practice but there is a business case I have which requires being able to give content authors the ability to override sitewide styles.  They don't have access to the file system.  Similar to how some themes in Wordpress have a form field in the theme editor that allows overriding theme styles.  Does this capability exist in AEM?

Hey Folks, I’ve noticed that the filter “Email address does not contain = @xyz.com” in the smart list is not functioning as expected. It is not suppressing any records. The count in the database matches the smart list count, even when I use multiple domains for suppression. It's only working on using “Email address does not contain = xyz.com” and that is not a best practice to not use "@" in domain.It seems like there might be a bug in the instance.

When we subscribe to event journal using getEventsObservableFromJournal, does the subscriber WAIT for each event callback to complete before switching to next event? Say if 500 events are queued into the journal, and I invoke getEventsObservableFromJournal.Do ALL events get consumed parallel and 500 threads are spawned to process each event asynchronously?OR will the observable, consume events synchronously? Once an event is subscribed, the observable WAITs for callback function to complete fully before moving to next event. Are the events consumed synchronously or asynchronously?

I inherited a new instance and would like to reach out to Support to create a new case. What is the best way to about this? Within my instance, when I navigate to Help -> Resources -> Support, I'm led to this page: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/support-resources/data-sheets/overview.html Where do I see if we qualify for Expert Support Plan or Ultimate Support Plan? Also, where is the info about the actual channels (Online, chat, phone, Experience League, forums, self-help videos) to reach out to support? Thanks!

Hi everyone,I’m hoping to get some guidance on integrating WebSDK and Mobile SDK into our front-end applications (Angular, React.JS, and React Native) in a way that reduces the need for ongoing support from our front-end  development teams.After the initial integration, we’d like to know if it’s possible for the AEP team to manage future changes to data collection (like including new fields or data points to be collected) without needing much involvement from the front-end teams. Essentially, we’re aiming for a setup where the SDKs are configured once, and any updates can be handled by the AEP team alone.A couple of questions on this:Is this kind of autonomous setup achievable, where the AEP team manages adjustments without developer input?Would setting it up this way require a significantly more complex initial integration compared to other approaches?We’re trying to find the right balance between a streamlined initial setup and minimizing ongoing dependencies for the front-end t

Hi, I am trying to find the correct syntax for the watch record module in Fusion. I am trying projectid, project:id or Project:ID or ProjectID with no success.  I am getting a [422] APIModel V18_0 does not support field projectid (Task) Here is a screenshot of what I am trying to accomplish:   Project ID is in fact an output option for the task record type, however, it is not allowing me to filter by project. Thank you for the help, Nick

Hello, I hope you're doing well.We have 360 degree profiles in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) that contain several IDs. For some anonymized profiles, we're looking to remove certain IDs to ensure no one can trace back and identify the customer, even though their contact information is already anonymized in AEP.Could you advise if this is possible in AEP and how we might go about it?Thanks in advance for your help!
