Solved

As javax.servlet dependency has been deprecated we are getting tidelift suggestions to upgrade to jakarta.servlet. However, when we update to that we are getting below error -Error: /apps/runner/_work/jabcd/japp-name/core/pom.xml [0:0]: Class org.ab.web.appname.core.servlet.FetchPDF is not assignable to specified service jakarta.servlet.Servlet Suggestions on this error asking again to revert back to javax.servlet. Just checking has anyone encountered this issue before? What solution has been implemented to address this. Pls share your experience. Thanks. -Nilesh

I'm looking for some examples of reports people are using for proof approvals. What columns are you displaying, anything fun i could be adding in text mode, etc. Our users want reporting but don't do a great job elaborating on what they want to see so hoping some creatives out there have ideas.    I would also like to know which type of reports people are using for proof approvals and the reasoning. They each have their own limits on functionality they can display. Document Document Version Proof Approvals

Hello,I am trying to run an API call to get an issue's CurrentApprovalStep:Name.I have been unsuccessful and was wondering if anyone has accomplished this in the past. Thank you in advance

I am trying to send over a topic for review to the designated users and I can successfully do that. But the issue is once the reviewer has highlighted any text or may have added comments, it is not visible to me. What exactly am I missing? Also, I would like the reviewer to change the document state to "reviewed"/"approved"/"rejected" (based on the options available) - how to do that?

I'm trying to use Fusion to identify when the third approver in an approval process is pending approval and automate some updates/custom notifs when true. Unlike other objects in Workfront, however, I can't navigate to the specific object and grab the ID from the URL, or use a custom view to display IDs.

Hello Marketo Community,My team has created a bounce directory that populates a custom field with the latest bounce category number for each record. However, we've found that this value is missing for many records because the data has been archived. The only way to find this information for archived records is to go into each one individually, check the activity log, find the 'Email Bounce' activity, open it, and then find the bounce category number. This is a very time-consuming process.I'm aware that some activity data can be exported via the Bulk API. I'm trying to figure out if exporting the 'Email Bounce' activity type would also include the bounce category. If so, where exactly can I find this information within the export file?Any guidance or tips on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks,

We have 1 flat file that contains 100 unique coupons(no other column in file) and we want to send these 100 unique coupons to 100 random recipients( from recipient table) using available activities in Adobe campaign classic V7(not by JS)

We have just discovered the groovy console, which is very powerful but also dangerous (from malicious or accidental use)   How do you secure Groovy console on Author on AEM cloud?  The only auth levels provided by AEM cloud admin console are "user" and "administrator" for the author and for publish.  Typically we use dispatcher to block all but our admin VPN IP, but this wont work for author. What is the point of ever running groovy console on Publish?  If publish was hacked in this way, it would be different from author, and get overwritten.  Surely it should only exist on author, then any changes it makes synced to publish? Thanks for any tips!

1. I create read audience journey - merge policy for profile attributes in personalization syntax would be taken from merge policy from that segment2. Event journey - default merge policy - email default set up in AJO?

Hi Everyone,I wanted to check if anyone has previously migrated email templates from  SFMC to AJO. If so, could you please share the steps or best practices followed during the migration? Understanding the process will help us plan and execute the migration more efficiently. if there's any documentation you can share.

In documentation there is an example: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/configuration/primary-email-addresses#in-the-email-configuration In my env:

As an email developer, I’ve created a two-column responsive email using AJO’s Content Editor. The email renders well across most email clients; however, Outlook 2016 and 2019 (120 DPI) appear to be pushing out the email margins. See the screenshot below. How can I resolve the margin issue in the mentioned clients?

I'm having issues with the formatting when I try to print a dashboard to PDF - the column widths are not ideal (some are too wide, others are too narrow) and adjusting the width in the preview does not stick - the last column gets cut off - landscape mode adds extra white space but does adjust the column widths Does anyone have tips on how to make printing a dashboard to pdf work so that it doesn't cut off any information and it is readable?

I have created numerous templates using AJO's Content Editor and now need to access the HTML code to begin troubleshooting sevreral rendering issues I've encountered. As an Email Deverloper, how can I extract the HTML code from an Adobe Journey Optimizer email created in the Content Editor?

I've been banging my head off this one for months! So any help would be gratefully received.I've been trying to figure out the best way of recording samples requested by our customers and sending out a confirmation email containing details of what the customer has requested and where they'd like it delivered.I have created 2 custom objects - one containing the delivery information and another to record each product requested (as there could be multiple) I've also currently got this object linking back to the person record with an intermediate (bridge) object, although I'm not entirely sure why. I therefore can't see the 'edge' object in my email script list.Getting the customer / delivery info into the email is no issue using the email script tokens. How would I get the list of requested samples onto the email as there could be many products on the request. Is there a way I can put all the requested items into one field in a way that will display them nicely? Or can someone help m

I want to create a condition/rule in Adobe Analytics which will set the value of a variable "pageName" based on the pageURL values received.for E.g if pageURL contains /?xyz then I want the pageName value to be "A" , if pageUrl contains /abc then pageName should be set to "B" and so on.I know there are processing rules we can use to achieve this in adobe analytics but I was wondering if there is any other way apart from this. Also, by using processing rules can we set multiple IF-ELSE conditions in a single rule?

Hello friends!   Another Velocity Script question for you all ✍️ This one feels like it might be silly and that I already know the answer, but would love validation!   My Strategic Events Team is looking to do Know Before You Go emails for our upcoming event and they want to include a variety of modules/sections in the email that would populate based on specific data e.g. whether someone has purchased a workshop or a guest pass for one of the parties, if they signed up for certifications etc. This would allow us to send registrants a single email with whatever information is applicable to them vs a separate email for each qualification.   ❓If I use multiple velocity scripts in each email broken down by information type, is it safe to assume that those scripts will run independently of one another? Or is there a risk of them conflicting with one another or causing a race condition of sorts?    Appreciate any information or things to cons

Hi,In a Unitary Event Journey with an entry event (e.g. "Event01"), what occurs when a profile which is already in the journey triggers another event of the same type (Event01)?This wiki explains that the profile can only have one instance in one journey at one time: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/orchestrate-journeys/manage-journey/entry-managementHowever, what happens to the data of subsequent events if a profile is already in a journey?E.g., profile triggers Event01 with status = 'a'Profile enters JourneyE.g., profile triggers Event01 again with status = 'b'Profile is already in Journey with Event01 status = 'a', so profile does not enter Journey with Event01 status = 'b'.Is it possible to access the second occurrence of Event01 with status = 'b' for the Profile which has already entered the Journey with Event01 status = 'a'? Will the journey's Event01 context update to show status = 'b' upon the second event occurring, or does that data need to b

Hi all,I haven't worked with webhooks very much, but I'm investigating if this is a possible use case, and if so, how to create it.  Some background: my organization uses email domain to label what company or agency a contact belongs to. Currently we have a smart campaign with dozens of flow steps and a choice for each domain. We say if their Domain is agencyA.org, then their Agency Name is Agency A.  We are planning to make sure the values are updated, as it's been a few years, and checking and changing the many choices will be cumbersome to say the least. I think a webhook via FlowBoost could work, but I've only set up one webhook before and I essentially copied the FlowBoost user guide. I haven't been able to find a similar use case here on the forum, and I'm way out of my depth with Javascript.  So, my question is this: if I upload a CSV file with relevant fields to Design Studio and reference it in the webhook, how can I write use column A (domain) to

Hi team, I have installed adobe campaign classic on premise/local machine. Can we send emails through local instance. If yes, what all steps do we need to follow to achieve the same. I have additional questions to the above query1. How is tracking server configured 2. Do we need a email service provider or subdomain hosted on different server is enough

Hi, I've built an React app using the App Builder, along with runtime actions which connects to other systems (i.e. AEM). My runtime actions require authentication, as the following:actions: assets: function: actions/aem/assets/index.js web: 'yes' runtime: nodejs:20 inputs: LOG_LEVEL: debug AEM_HOST: $AEM_HOST annotations: require-adobe-auth: trueWhen I (as a developer) load the React App, the call to the runtime action executes successfully and loads the data properly. However, for another user, when they open the App, the runtime action fails and they got this error message:{"error": "request is invalid, reason: failed authorization. Please verify your token and organization id."} I can also confirm that the call has the header `x-gw-ims-org-id` with the proper value passed. I couldn't find it in the documentation, but is there any permissions needed for users to execute runtime actions? Thank you,Henry

Hi,I am using AJO and have a number of journeys scheduled daily at 8:00 AM. The scheduler is configured to refresh all audiences at 7:30 AM. If I check an audience individually, I see it was refreshed at 7:47 AM (Audience Properties /Last updated). However, when the journeys ran at 8:00 AM they took the previous day's audience members, and not the ones that show after the refresh. How much time should be left between the audience refresh scheduled time and the journey's start, to be sure that all audiences are refreshed and ready to use? I understand that it depends on the data and how many audiences are defined, but I would like to get some guidance on how to best estimates the timing in such a way we don't run journeys on outdated data.

Our Salesforce instance is moving to "Contacts only" - they are removing the Lead Object and everything coming in will be a Contact Record. Are there any implications for the sync going forward?  Thank you

Hi,   Recently, we have noticed that some leads' activities show the "Merge People" option, even though the leads haven't been merged. It appears that they have simply updated the form with the same email address.   May I know the reason why it occurs?   Please refer the screenshot for your reference.

I want to create a dropdown in an AEM component dialog with grouped options. For example, Theropods containing three items and Sauropods containing three items. I tried using granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/select/optgroup, but it didn’t work. Is this poiible  in an AEM component dialog? Example  Dialog Dialog output
