Workfront

When a report is added to a project dashboard update the grouping (sum) column to the project's currency and not the system default currency. Example below.  Why is this feature important to you - When a user is needing a sum of multiple currency fields on a project dashboard report it can be confusing to view the project currency and the system default currency conversion in one report.  How would you like the feature to work - when a report is filtered to a project dashboard the grouping sum it will align to the project's selected currency  Current Behavior - the report grouping is shown in the system's default currency. If the project's currency is different it will convert to the system default currency and convert the total. 

Description - It would be great if the Text Field with Formatting had more standard formatting options available.Why is this feature important to you - Copy and Paste from standard apps do not transfer accurate formatting; in addition, sometimes there is a need to indent or outdent and that is not currently possible. Font size cannot be changed. How would you like the feature to work - More standard formatting options be available.Current Behaviour - Right now formatting options are very limited and do not seem to be standard.

I was speaking to our adobe workfront consultants and they seem to believe there is no way to add a comment with data in it. All we want to do is avoid having to copy from excel, paste in notepad, copy again, format it and then comment. I'd like to be able to simply copy from excel in its original format and it look like that when it is pasted into the updates/comments section. The closest I can get to that is a copy as image and then save the image and then upload the image to the comments.  I would prefer it look like this. Description -  Please add a field/claim for user's preferred names that can be populated with SCIM or OIDC/SAML. Why is this feature important to you -  The current implementation requires a given name and family name.  Accounts that are provisioned with SCIM reset any changes the user may make to their name field.  We have employees who go by their middle name, or prefer a different name.  We also have employees from cultures that don't have legal family names which causes issues with the current system that requires a family name.  We are working around this by passing the user's preferred name as the given name and using anon-printable character as the family name, but the non-printable character is causing a bug that is preventing other fields from being modified.  Rahul Yadav from Adobe support says that this is not a bug and everything is working as intended and is refusing to provide support at this point.  It is unclear how usin

When someone gets an update from workfront in their email they may add an attachment. Right now workfront ignores the attachment and you have no idea that there was an attachment. We need attachments from our clients, they are used to submitting attachments via helpdesk. Workaround: We built a flow in Azuqua (Azuqua doesn't handle attachments via gmail yet so it took some extra work but it works) that looks at every email coming in and sends them to workfront. This flow beats workfront by 2-40 minutes in processing the attachments before the update is posted to workfront.

It would be nice to have a template to create a program and all the projects within that program, as well as custom fields at the program level. This would be helpful for campaigns. We could remove the projects that are not applicable for the particular campaign. We could fill in the details for the campaign on the program level custom form. There is no capability to copy programs, so we aren't able to copy a similar program. It has to be all manually re-created.

Description - add option to change font colour in text in updates Why is this feature important to you - it would make it easier to selectively highlight important parts of the update How would you like the feature to work - at least basic selection of colours for the font, e.g. just like in reports, conditional formatting Current Behaviour - all black, only bold can be used as highlight

Description - When attempting to mark a Project Complete and there is an open issue or task, popup should at minimum list the task/issue stopping the project from being marked complete. Step better would be why the task/issue is not complete if due to missing approvals, bad dates, or anything else definable. Why is this feature important to you - Just wasted time trying to get close a project. First, all tasks were marked 100% and standard view does not include status so wasted time looking for a task not complete but 100%. Second, once the task was found I could not update the status because it was "Calculated by System", but all subtasks were complete and 100%. Waste more time looking through experience league for what could be stopping, try a number of suggestions with no results. Come to find out Planned start and end dates cannot be the same. Update dates to fixed because ASAP is not changing them. Still the parent task remains open. Thinking I have not found what is stopping

Description - Once you perform a search, you no longer have the ability to adjust what you are searching. Meaning, if you have a typo in your search you have to completely back out of search and restart, rather than being able to click into the search bar again and adjust. Additionally, if you are searching for multiple different items with the same criteria/filters, you have to re-input the criteria/filters for each search, rather than just changing the text in the search bar. Why is this feature important to you - This was a functionality that used to exist and was stripped during new UI implementation. This is a big degradation and requires extra and not standard extra work during search. How would you like the feature to work - The same as the old search functionality - search bar remains visible and editable after performing the initial search Current Behaviour - Search bar disappears once you hit enter/click search

Description - When sending a file from Workfront to Assets, the folder path should be "sticky" so that the next time we send a file we don't need to start from the very beginning of the folder path.Why is this feature important to you - This would save many clicks, reduce frustration, and improve efficiency.How would you like the feature to work - Similar to the way it works in the Enhanced Connector. The location of the last file send is the default for the next file send.Current Behaviour - When the User is sending a file to Assets, the user has to start from the very beginning of the Assets folder structure...every time.
