Workfront Fusion

Is there a way to route csv fields with links into a text with formatting field in Workfront?  I keep getting an error message when attempting to map those over in Fusion.

Has anyone been able to load a CSV that has a value that needs to map into an external lookup field?  I want to create an external lookup to populate brands for different companies. It's a great solution when it is individually assigned on a form, but if I need to load data for 100 products and assign a brand to them, will I be able to map to that field?  I really don't want to have a single dropdown with all of the possible brands or hundreds of dropdowns that need to be maintained. I would also prefer the brand not have to be manually updated later when I have the information at load time.  My vision is to have one Fusion scenario that creates and updates the brand lookup data structure as new brands are added. Then we can use that data for lookups to select a brand for products. The only gap is assigning brands in a bulk data load.

Hello, I am building a scenario that when a project is made active it will post an update on said project of the project's Milestone schedule. So far my trigger works fine and I can pull a collection of tasks, filtering down for only Milestones. Where I am caught is how to take those bundles of Milestones and format it (in a variable?) such that it sorts the planned completion dates of all the Milestones. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I am working on a project to remove three tasks based on a selection option on the project. if the selection is "What type of template change is this?" = "Minor" then three tasks are to be removed from the project. So when the user creates this project and selects that choice then fusion removes three tasks from the project. "Reg review, Legal Review, Peer Review". I started with a search module looking for projects created with a specific template, then used a read module to gather the data, then i need to point to the choice on the project. i'm thinking i may need a switch module for the choice. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a fusion scenario that builds a project "recertified" with tasks based on a template. if a user selects a certain Status "decommission" Fusion goes in and removes the tasks from the project and adds a new template with different "decom" tasks. Now, if the user didn't mean to choose that status or perhaps down the line, this project didnt need to be decom'd, can fusion be setup to undo, or re-add those old tasks back in and remove the decom tasks. Basically re-setting the project back to its original "recertified" state again? would this take a large level of work to build this scenario or would it be better to tell the users to be careful in their choice?

I am playing with the JWT module and with help from support got it to where I can exchange it for a bearer token. According to documentation, to authenticate on the API I'd send it as "Authorization" header - but so far the API just errors out with an authentication failure.  Have you successfully called the Workfront API with a bearer token? 

I'm trying to understand why a watch record module for documents that I have set to look for new records only, is returning old documents from February.  What criteria does it use?  Do I need to perform an additional date test? Thanks in advance!! 

Hi, When I am trying to create a watch event scenario (for instant trigger) for a new issue to be created in a specific project (via request queue), It kept on running and end up giving error that "maximum time limit exceeds". Seems like its unable to read that data. Can anyone help me with that? Also, Was wondering if watch event support for new Issue in Workfront fusion? Any help/suggestion would be highly appreciated. TIA.

Hi, I'm working on moving some documents from Adobe Workfront to AEM assets using fusion. I'm using Upload an Asset module in my scenario to upload the document to AEM asset and came across the below fields. Does anyone know what are they used for? Create versionReplace Currently when I upload same document again, it overwrites the previously uploaded document. Is there any way I can keep both the versions of the documents? Thanks! 

Hi All, running into an error when trying to upload a field from a csv file into a form field has dropdown options.  The field on the csv is identical to the option in the form. [422] Invalid Parameter: custom workfront field "custom dropdown field value"

Hello Folks,I have a question regarding the steps needed to perform the adding of a new FUSION Connection but have it associated with a 'system level' user from our  WORKFRONT 'SANDBOX 01' instance...not associated with the actual System Admin person's account who actually created the connection.We 'can' (of course) create a new FUSION Connection ,however, unfortunately the new 'Connection' is associated with the member's account from my company's Workfront nd fusion Support team.  We have a fake 'system level' user which we've named 'Workfront Fusion Admin' which is defined in WORKFRONT, however, this fake 'system level' user named 'Workfront Fusion Admin' is not an actual TEAM member within FUSION nor is a USER defined for our FUSDION app defined within the Adobe Admin Console.Thoughts ?Thanks,    -Scott Davis- Tech Lead, The Vanguard Group       

My team and I are trying to figure out a way to create a .doc/.docx document in Fusion and upload to Workfront, which then will be converted to a proof.  Here is how we are "trying" to upload the document as a .doc/.docx format using the Upload Document Workfront Module: However, when we create the document using this method, the file is un-openable in Word (seems to be corrupted) and is failing to generate as a proof when using the "Create Proof" option in Workfront. Does anyone know if this is the correct way to create a word document using the Document Upload module? We are aware of the Microsoft Word Template modules but are trying to avoid having to use this as it requires a Word license. Any information on how we could get this issue solved would be greatly appreciated. CC: @jyotina 

Hello All,I am hoping someone can assist.Is there a way in a calculated field to display in a dropdown format field entries from other fields?E.g.We have lots of fields:Lead Type Code 1Lead Type Code 2Lead Type Code 3etc... these get manually completed.Then I have another field entitled "Lead Type Code" that I want to display all the entries from the other text fields as a dropdown list.Any ideas welcome! Hello all - I'm looking for a way to remove the inherited permissions on a project using Fusion.  I have a scenario set up to auto-convert the request to a project based on a trigger but can't figure out how to remove the permissions inherited from the Portfolio. This is something our PMs are doing manually and would love to roll it into the automation. Note: I'm not well-versed in Fusion, but I'm learning!! Thank you!

This is more of a strategic question rather than a technical issue. I have a custom form at the request level that contains hundreds of fields. When a request is converted into a project, I need to retain about 95% of those fields but exclude a few that would only cause confusion at the project level. If I needed to transfer all fields, the solution would be straightforward - I’d simply make the custom form at both the request and project levels and attach it to the project when doing conversion in Fusion. However, since I need to exclude a handful of fields from the custom form, what’s the best approach? My plan was to create a separate project-level custom form containing only the required 95% of fields and use Fusion to map the data accordingly, but considering the number of fields, this could become a time consuming/tedious task. Is there a more efficient way to handle this? Any insights or past experiences would be appreciated!

Hello, I am trying to build a scenario that will watch for new files being uploaded to a folder. The files being uploaded will be excel spreadsheets and the some of the data from the files needs to be sent to fields on the projects custom form. Can you use Fusion to accomplish this? Hello, I am looking for a way to download files from multiple projects and to copy those files to a new project. My Custom API call/filters successfully work to pull the correct files into the bundles but what I am having trouble with is how to handle the bundles/operations after the API call. After filtering my iterator I am left with multiple Operations when I only need one(?) When I attempt to build a project after running the API call, it creates a project for each operation when I only need one project created to house all of the files I called on.Here you can see only one operation pre-filter but after there displays two. Screen of the entire scenario just in case:  How can I move this scenario along so that I only get one resulting project with the Create A Record module. Also, how can I move all of the files I called on with the API to copy to the newly created project? Thanks in advance!

I am trying to call the OpenAI GPT-4 model and my request body is being stringified, how do I fix this to send correct JSON request body? First screenshot is module, second is strigified request body, last screenshot is what the correct call looks like. I am not using the last one because it would not let me update the temperature/top_p value in the "create chat completion" module.

Running into issues with Fusion processing email addresses with special characters. We continue to get [422] invalid parameter: invalid email value errors with email addresses with special characters "é", "ç", "�", "ñ". Is this a known issue with Fusion?

Does anyone else have issues with their data store finding a "match" record in their data store that is incorrect? This seems to happen anytime we try to add a new row to our data store.  Example: User enters Business Division: BPG, Queue topic: Brightcove Data store information:BPG, Brightcove - assign to BPG TeamAIG, Brightcove - assign to a user The data store assigns the request to the AIG user instead of the BPG team.   

Hi, I'm a certified Workfront administrator, working as an indepdendent contractor. My current contract is coming to an end and am looking for the next opportunity. I've been able to avoid using Fusion up to this point because it's either not been a requirement of the job or there's been someone else on the team to do it. It's become obvious that knowing Fusion is pretty much a requirement at this point as most of the work out there is asking for a Workfront-Fusion admin hybrid. But there's the rub: I'm stuck because I don't have access to Fusion. My question is: Can anyone advise how I can learn Fusion basics and get practical experience with it without having access to Fusion?
