Workfront Fusion

We're looking to explore in-depth integration with our new (non-Adobe) DAM and seeking a Fusion developer whose skills are far greater than my own.   Let me know if you'd like to discuss further.

I'm watching for a status on a task but the task name needs to be part of the filter too. I can do 'status=CFX' and I can do name='Write creative brief' but how do I include both of these in the one 'Optional Filter' field in the module properties? I've tried AND and also nothing because the Fusion help says AND is the default anyway. I could put a filter on the route to the next module but it would be neater if I could include both criteria on the 'Optional Filter'. Thanks v much

We are trying to move an existing Google Team Drive folder to a new location. It doesn't appear that this action is available in the Google Team Drive Connector. Is a custom API call to the Google Drive API using the HTTP -> Make a request module required? If so, I can work with our IT team to establish the connection, but would someone be willing to share what the request body would look like?  Thanks so much!

How do I change the order of a custom form using Fusion?

Hello, We use Issues in a Workfront project to manage values in a drop down for a form.  When someone adds a new issue, we trigger Fusion to add that to the drop down use a custom api call.The problem that I'm having is that I like the drop downs to be sorted alphabetically and can't figure out how to do that via api call.Has anyone done this and shed some light on the mystery? thanks.

How to trigger Watch Event module in fusion when Project is deleted in Portfolio?

What is the right way to iterate through this structure (which is the output of an HTTP Request)? I want to iterate thru each variantAssayID in each collection of the array:   I tried to use an iterator like this: Instead of the iterator passing variantAssayID 1, then variantAssayID 2, then variantAssayID 3, the iterator just kept repeating variantAssayID 1 for as many times as there were collections in the array.  Halp, please !?!?!? 

I am trying to create a task in a project from the Create Record module, but the module will not populate the Planned Hours or Duration if the Task Duration Type is Simple. If unselect Duration Type it allows me to set the Duration of the task but not the Planned Hours. What do I need to do?  

Hello.I designed a scenario to update task comments in Workfront, by updating Note record, setting new noteText. However, despite it being changed, Workfront still shows old text. I figured it is comming from html property, this one didn't get set automatically. I tried setting it manually with same update record module, it doesn't work. Is there some other way of updating task comment?  

A group in our org has 9 custom user fields on the Project object that are various points of contact for the projects. They also have a custom task status called "Released". The requirement is that, when a task is set to Released, those points of contact are notified. Each POC field may or may not be populated. What we DON'T want to do is create an update for each POC, as that would junk things up. Here's my current scenario. We're creating an "empty" update for each POC (no text), which results in no update actually being created. This works, but the notifications aren't informative (because the update is empty). They need to at least see the Task name and that it was released.I'm inclined to think the solution is to create a single Update with the needed text and then somehow send multiple notifications (after validating the presence of data in each POC field) on that Update. I need to insert HTML source code into a Campaign Classic delivery through Fusion. However, I couldn't find a valid variable in the create and update actions. Also, I haven't found any query regarding this. Has anyone experienced this integration process?

This is just a minor annoyance, but it used to cause me some confusion, so it may be worth a fix if everyone else experiences it: If a scenario with a Watch event trigger has been paused for some time and I view its history, I see there are "x Records in Queue" waiting to be processed. If I want to delete everything in the queue, I view the queue, check all, and then the button always appears saying "Delete 50" items from the queue no matter how many more than 50 I selected. I confirm that I want to delete the "50", and then ALL items in the queue are removed. This is the case if there are 50 or 500 or 1900 items in the queue to be deleted. Also the history page continues to show the original number of items in Queue waiting to be processed until I go back to my Scenario list and reload the scenario. (i.e. refreshing the screen doesn't clear the "# items in Queue" message until I back all the way out of the scenario and then go back in.  In this video, I deleted 196

I like to try and figure things out myself but I've hit a brick wall with trying to add a stage to proof in Fusion. The lack of descriptive error codes is making it so I can't tell what I'm doing wrong.Does anyone have a working example they could share? 

I recently built a scenario in Fusion that after a request/issue has been entered an alert goes out to a particular team. In that same scenario, i also added some modules so when that request has been passed on to a user to work "assigned user", they will only get notifications on work they do and if the submitter adds or makes an update that assigned user is only to get the change notifications not the submitter. So my scenario is running, it notifies the submitter of new requests, but when someone is assigned to the request only they are supposed to get all notifications not the submitter no mater who makes an update. So my scenario is still sending notifications out to the submitter when they are not supposed to get any after creating a new scenario.

Hello, i work at Chase, and i am creating a Fusion scenario that when a specific "team" creates a issue/request, they would only get a notification when its created. Then if one of those team members assigns a user to the request to work, then if that user makes updates then only they would get a notification and not the Entire "team". But if someone not assigned to the request maybe the one who created the request, goes in an makes an update, then they are only getting an update and not the assigned user. Seems correct but the catch is that they don't want anyone who makes updates other than the assigned user, to get notifications. Also we are only working with Workfront modules only due to strict cyber security protocols. We have a scenario running now which looks for new requests and notifies the "Team" of the "new" request. then it triggers again if a change is made on the request and only notifies the person who made a change and not the assigned user. so technically since there i

What is the best way to remove a character from a string? Currently I am using this implementation to remove a comma from a string. Does the emptystring variable leave unexpected characters? 

We have thousands of projects in our build that based on how we are using Workfront, are reopened, task template added and finalized over and over. In this sort of "evergreen" state, we occasionally have large numbers of the custom fields on these projects that need to be updated. Unfortunately, the updates are unique per project, not a single bulk edit. We already use Kickstart to import the projects (hundreds at a time), but is there a way to create something in Fusion that would allow us based on project id to be able to replace data in custom fields using Fusion? My thought is export the effected projects to spreadsheet, update and reimport the spreadsheet, calling out the field if needed or just overwriting all (if they were just exported). --That's just my initial thought - there may be better ways to do this. Definitely open to any ideas.--Any direction would be amazing. Thank you!

If I read a field (parameter) ID or name in, find the custom forms it is used on. Once I find the form ID, I would like to use the parameter ID and ctgy ID to remove the parameter from the form.
