Workfront Fusion

My team's building a scenario to auto-approve certain requests from our main request queue.  I've been testing the scenario in our sandbox, and it's been working so far.  My colleague asked if it would be possible to send an email/communication to select users once the approval has been done.I'm using the approveApproval action in the Misc Action module.  I've already been using the auditNote option in the module to add a note to the approved requests ("auto-approved by Fusion").  The module also has auditUserIDs and sendNoteAsEmail options.  I tried playing around with those--e.g., toggling the email option to on and entering my user ID (the scenario connection and approval is setup through a dummy account we have set up in WF)--but I didn't receive anything and I don't see any kind of audit trail involving me in the issue updates or system logs.I'm sure I can create a tagged note or other communication through an additional module, but does anyone know h

Fusion newbie here.I've been playing around with a custom API call, trying to get it to pull requests I created in the sandbox environment; I want only those requests that fall into two specific queue topics in the request queue.I was able to enter the queue topic criteria as part of the URL, and it gives me the expected result (showing me the three requests that fulfill the criteria):I originally tried entering the queueTopicID criteria as items in the Query String (two items--one for the IDs and one for the in modifier), but I kept getting an empty output.  Using this method gives me a result when I include only one of the IDs, so I'm guessing I screwed up the syntax when listing both IDs.Could someone please provide the correct syntax?  I've tried separating the two IDs multiple ways (comma, tab, etc.), but I can't seem to get it to work.  I can always use the first method, but I'd like to know how to properly structure the second method.Thanks. 

Hello, I would like to pull in all requests from a specific campaign. I have used the read related records module, and inputted my parent ID, what do I need to choose in collections to pull in all requests? When I do it as shown in the screenshot, I am getting the error "Missing value of required parameter 'ID'."   

Hi,  We use queue topic default duration, which works fine when the request is converted to project. When the request is converted to a task, the queue topic duration is an issue, since the converted task shows 0 for planned duration and planned hours is the calculated hours of the queue topic duration, which always has to be adjusted. Creating a Fusion scenario was recommended to help resolve this issue. Has anyone created a scenario that creates a queue topic default duration into the converted task planned duration? If so, would you be willing to share some of the scenario details? ThankCathy

I am working through a scenario to send an email picking up data from a Workfront project and would love to be able to pull in the Owner ID as the Owner Name in the body of an email. Is there a way to be able to do this in Fusion?

Hi Community, The end goal is to mark all projects within a portfolio as complete ( status = 100% ) However, Workfront Fusion is requiring that all tasks and open issues be closed/complete before the project status can be marked complete. How do I set up my Fusion scenario to get all Task IDs and Issue IDs associated with a project ID?What is the best approach? 

I want to export a list of project data using Fusion. I have most of the fields configured, but I cannot figure out a way to export a list of users associated with each project (the project team).  I see an expression in reports that refers to projectUsers. But I don’t see anything like that as an option in Fusion as a project field. Here’s what I have in text mode for the report: displayname=Project Team Memberslistdelimiter=listmethod=nested(projectUsers).listsnamekey=group.pluraltextmode=truetype=iteratevaluefield=user:namevalueformat=HTML I want what that produces on that report to be part of my export from Fusion, but I can’t figure out how to get there. I tried to use Related Records. I tried to do a search for users but can’t figure out a way to search for “users associated with this project” …

We're currently experiencing an issue where I am prompted to use the MS PowerBI connector. Authorization has been  granted on the back end, but it still does not authorize within Fusion.  Has anyone encountered this problem? It might require a reach out to helpdesk. 

Hi everyone. I am tasked with a major Fusion project, one of the things i need to do is take an existing project and place it into a program. after a year that project, once completed will trigger fusion to then create another project using the same project name but adding a version "V1, V2,V3, etc" to the end of the new project and place it into a specified folder. Can or does fusion create incremental numbers via perhaps a variable, so it can add a verson at the end of the project mane each year a new project is created for tracking purposes?

Does module snapping exist in Fusion, like when you hold shift in photoshop it will snap and try to hard/soft align with other modules? Sometimes the auto align makes my flow look terrible and I would prefer to align it myself for visual and mental clarity.

I'm trying to convert an issue to a project, attach a template to the project, and keep all custom forms and data associated with them. I can't seem to get the custom forms and their data to transfer over. At first I tried using the "Convert Object" module but after reading a previous post "Workfront module Convert object - custom form data" it looks like I need to use the"Misc Action" module and Issue -> convertToProject to prevent data loss and keep all of the form metadata. I tried using only the "Copy custom data" checkbox in tandem with the name and template ID checkboxes but to no avail. I'm still new to fusion and am completely lost as I can't find any solid documentation. Do I need to use this in combination with the "copyNativeFields" and/or "copyCategories" checkboxes as well? How would I go about this?

Hi Fusion Community,Can anyone provide instruction on how I can effectively look at programs and iterate down through their projects, their tasks, grab some data at the task level (Actual Hours), and then aggregate all Actual Hours for all of those tasks back up at the program level? My scenario will be looking at a data store full of program ID's, so I'll want to do this separately for each program in a given scenario execution.Thanks,Nick

I am using Fusion to Convert Requests (Issues) to Tasks. When I convert, I attach the same custom forms on the Request to the Task, but after conversion the custom form information does not pass to the task. How can I fix this?

I am working on an automation that is looking at whether a task was completed after the planned completion date and want to search tasks that were completed this week. I was looking the options to set my filter in the search module and did not see an option to set to this week.   Is it possible to set to a "this week" filter? Thank you in advance!

I have a report for my users called Unassigned Requests. We have added a new request queue and I would like to pull in the Project Name so they know which request queue its coming into to. But...the Project Name field is a hyperlink and you can click it to access the request queue project. How do I just display the name without it linking to the project? I want my WF webhook to include multiple IDs but the filter section only includes AND. I read some other posts from a while back and it didn't look too simple to implement. Is there a simple way to add this statement to my webhook filter?Filter: id EQUALS id1 OR id2 OR id3 ...

I'm looking to have fusion take a newly submitted issue which is "pending approval" and have the status changed to "new."From there I can utilize existing fusion scenarios to process issues into projects.    I'm doing this because I've been told all issues submitted through a queue have to be approved by a person versus it be submitted and automatically be  approved.  Welcome thoughts and suggestions.
