Workfront Fusion

Please allow users to extend the 45 minutes max time for the execution of scenarios... I understand that it's good to have this limit in place as a default to save scenarios from looping. However, it would be very useful if it was possible to set this limit manually. It's a deal-breaker for us in regards to what we are trying to achieve with Adobe Workfront Fusion. The scenario we want to build requires more than 45 minutes, once in a while, and if we cannot allow for that, then we can't use Workfront. Here's the error message we get when it happens:   Execution was requested to stop Execution was requested to stop because MAXIMUM EXECUTION TIMEOUT [40 minutes] had elapsed How can i resolve this bug?

I'm moving files by finding the files, downloading in Fusion and uploading to Bynder via the Bynder Module. I got 45 logo files moved over and then got this error: Execution was forced to stop because of low memory. Any suggestions for a work around?

I have created an API Custom API Call to update the predecessor of a task. I have received an error on the module below. I am wondering if I am just missing some commas or quotes in the body or if I am completely off. The error says "[422] APIModel INTERNAL does not support field data (Task)" so I am wondering if updating nested fields is not even possible. Any help is greatly appreciated!

We are creating a process to auto-create users in Workfront when they are present in another system, but don't want the users to get all the default notifications (they are only being used for reporting at this time, and the default notifications are driving them crazy). It looks like we can make a POST call to the USERPF endpoint to overwrite the user's digest notifications and some other settings, but can't seem to update the user's instant notifications using the same approach. Any ideas?

We have been informed that our campaign tracking solution is being discontinued and are looking for solution that does not involve having our analytics team manually create CID's in Adobe Analytics.  With much of the needed information already in Workfront custom form data, I was wondering if using Fusion to create the CID is an option and if anyone else has taken this approach.

I'm working on a scenario pushing an issue from Workfront to create a case in Salesforce. I'd like to push the Assigned To field (from the issue) but am only seeing Assigned to ID. The scenario won't run because I think that Salesforce doesn't recognize this ID so I'm thinking I need to push a Name instead. However, that field isn't a choice for me. Is there a way around this? I'm thinking maybe using Text Mode thinking in Fusion and change the ID to Name but couldn't find a way to do this either. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

I have a scenario that creates a program and several projects within in. Documents loaded via the request queue need to be placed into a folder on the program. There is no option to select a folder in the upload module when the object is PRGM. There is a document move function in the Misc Actions module but it fails saying "The operation was completed with a warning. [500] Cannot invoke "com.attask.biz.document.helpers.DocumentClassIDMap$ClassID.getObjectClass()" because the return value of "com.attask.biz.document.helpers.DocumentClassIDMap.getClassID(String)" is null" except that the operation wasn't completed. Any clues anyone?

I have a scenario that's being built off a Document Upload trigger, but this scenario needs to be narrowed down to only trigger for new uploads within a certain folder structure (for example: folder A is ignored by Fusion, but folder B triggers Fusion). Crucially, this folder structure will be applied to a number of different project templates and thus scaled appropriately to projects leveraging those templates. I know this can be done using the Optional Filter on the trigger module, but having no experience writing API code, I'm unsure of how to create such a filter and add it into my scenario. Any insight/assistance is appreciated!

When Fusion updates a custom field in Workfront with a URL, the final character , a closing bracket aka brace is shown in the custom form but not on the hyperlink. Thus when the hyperlink is clicked in Workfront, the link fails because the final bracket isn't included. Any help would be gratefully received. Thanks.

We have one template that gets attached to the project, then later on a second template gets attached to the same project. On the second template, the predecessor of the first task should be the last task from the first template.

I'm currently working on a project that requires incrementing an alphanumeric-based string using Fusion, but I'm struggling to determine how to make this happen using Fusion's text tools. Specifically, I need to read a record with either an ONLY numeric string (e.g. 12345) and append an alpha character at the end (e.g. A), or I need to read that same string with the alpha character at the end, and increment by one letter (e.g. 12345A -> 12345B). Any ideas or insight is apprecaited!

We have lots of scenarios. And, we have lots of data stores. I'm doing housekeeping, and know there are at least some data stores that we no longer need. I'm wondering how one would go about discovering/confirming which scenarios (if any) would be impacted by removing a data store?Similar to seeing which scenario is using a webhook, but for data stores. I have a sick feeling there is no way to do this without manually inspecting every scenario.

We use snowflake as a data store for campaign data shared across multiple tools. Now that we adding a group to our existing instance of WF, there is a need to use Fusion to regularly send data to Snowflake. Has anyone done this before? Any trouble with the integration? Thanks!

I can't find a way to round a number to a specific number of decimals. So e.g. 3.14159 to 3.1416 or 3.14 I'm surely missing something. Any ideas where to find that function?

I'm using a WF module to read data from a CSV file. On occasion there are errors in the data in the file so the WF Module will fail. I add an ignore module from the Tools to keep the WF module to continue processing the remaining data. The ideal thing would be to have the entry of data be accurate so this does not occur, however that's wishful thinking. The problem is I would also like to know when an error occurs. The Ignore module does not provide the capability to connect to a WF module for notification. Is there a way to do what I'm asking in Fusion?

Happy New Year!! I have a scenario where I am connecting to HR data to search for terminated users and deactivate them in WF. The process itself is very simple, but I am running into an issue with the 2000 maximum search limit. We have over 2000 users, so basically the functionality works, but only for the first 2000 users. I am guessing I am missing something silly that will allow me to search all users, but I am not sure what I am missing. Use Case:Pull all HR user records and then search WF for user records that do not match and deactivating those users. Thanks!!

My company is interested in connecting WF and SP, more specifically, would like to have a ticking system on our SP page. Would the connection allow us to set up Requests that someone could put into SP and it be automatically put into a request queue in WF?

I am trying to build a scenario that will collect stage approvals from a task approval process after final stage approval, create a document with the stage approval, and then upload to the task. Scenario setup: I am watching updated tasks to see when Task approval workflows are complete. From there I am collecting more task data, owner data, and assignee data. Then I create a record to update to add a note and change the status from "In Progress" to "Approved". I'd like to capture the approvers from each stage and the start/completion dates for an audit report that would be created/uploaded to the task. Has anybody created a similar solution?

My scenario has a router that splits into two routes. One is the fallback (although having no fallback but mutually exclusive filters makes no difference). The routing is based on the existence of a form on a project. Two bundles travel through the scenario. The first bundle spots the form is in place and moves on to the end. The route includes a couple of text aggregators. The second bundle takes the same route because the form is in place (same project) and it runs the route it should but this time it also jumps onto the other route and runs one of the two text aggregators, skipping the first couple of modules on that alternate path. The second path has never fired so I cannot see why this should happen. I've attached a picture showing this. The scenario is trying to gather document approval details (approvers, statuses & dates) and paste the lot into a custom form on the project the tasks that hold the document being approved sit. Forgive me for all my rookie questions.... 😜 I am attempting to use WF data to update a spreadsheet that lives in a Box folder. I got the file ID and file Name filled in, but what do I use for the "data" field. How do I tell the module which rows and columns to update in the spreadsheet?

The link below explains how to retrieve an image URL, put it into the object URL, and pull it into a report as a thumbnail. Is there a way to do this using Fusion?
