hi all, we ran a BPA report on AEM 6.5.18 for migrating to cloud for our project.The BPA report lists non-compatible content as follows - Say we made a change on node "test" present under /a/b/c/test The BPA reports the issue for the nested child as follows - /a, /a/b, /a/b/c, /a/b/c/test - A single node change leading to 4 separate critical issues on BPA.Is that correct? We are overlaying /libs/dam/gui/content/assetdetails to /apps and modified couple of actions.But the action nodes being listed are far more than the ones which are modified. thanks in advance,

Hi there team! I'm trying to build an org-chart component like the following example:  It needs to allow dynamic insertion of child nodes and multiple levels. I first tried using a composite/nested multifield with a fixed scope, which works as expected. However, when trying to add dynamic logic, the component breaks. I also tried using a recursive approach and a node component recursively, but I could not get the dialog to work (like a carousel). I tried using a Java model and servlet to expose a JSON based on a dam folder. using content fragments, but I'm not getting the desired structure. Has anyone done/seen this before? I would appreciate any guidance. Thank you!

Hi,We are using AEM Managed Service and in the middle of migrating to AEM Cloud service. Our's is an asset implementation only with no sites. Currently we are looking for ways to migrate users and groups from AEM MS instance to AEMaaCS environment.I was going over this documentation : https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/migration-journey/cloud-migration/content-transfer-tool/user-mapping-and-migrationwhich advices to use Content Transfer Tool(CTT) in order to migrate users and groups.And, I know for fact that the recommendation is to use CTT for all migration but because of some technical challenges we are not  using CTT for asset migrations. Instead we have a custom solution.  With CTT out of the picture, are there other ways for migrating users and groups to AEMaaCS environment.  Any assistance/advice would be greatly appreciated. ThanksVed  

Hello, I created a form using AEM Designer 6.5.0.20190320.3.935878.  Some users only have Reader and we found that they could not save the file without using Print to PDF.  That won't work as additional information is added to the form just prior to release.  I have the ability to lock fields as signers approve, but removed the locks in the attached file.  After researching this, I found old threads where people had the same problem and Enabled Reader.  However, that prevents users from electronically signing.  I am not finding any more recent (last 3-4 years) where this has been resolved.  I apologize if this was answered earlier, but I haven't found it.  Has this issue been resolved or are we stuck with forms that cannot be edited, saved and electronically signed by Adobe Reader users? Thank you in advance. Craig

Hello Community,  I have been working on a workflow process step in which we will send an email to each and every user of a certain group (passed as an argument to the workflow) upon starting the workflow so that the approvers can see everything that they need without much hassle. This workflow will be used to publish pages/assets ( there is a participant step for approving/denying as well). The email will consist of the initiator, timestamp, and comments(passed while starting the workflow), payload, etc.  Almost 60-70% of the work is done.  I am having a hard time getting the comment and the payload(as a clickable link). How can I get the following inside my code? 1) comment that was passed during the workflow initiation?3) A link to the inbox so that the user can go to his/her current inbox and browse the content2) A clickable link that will take the approver to the payload for that particular instance on which the workflow was initiated.Initially, I tho

Hi Team,In our AEMasCS program, for the RDE Publisher environment we need to restrict access at organisation level (currently its publically accessible).Our IT team shared an IP, not a range as given in the documentation to validate through CIDR ,Unfortunately that is not helping us, since our VPN is tunneling (Public IP will not change if we are connected to VPN) we cant restrict the access.Do we have any different ways to handle this scenario ? Thanks in advanceGeo

hi ,when I am creating the translation jobs for different languages and completing it my pages are not getting translated, they are still showing in english. Also the i18n dictionaries become 0 after completing. I am using the default microsoft machine translator.can anyone tell me how to solve it?

Hi Team I am creating a CF using content fragment import.My CF is multifiled and with proper excel sheet I am able to create multiple records within content fragment. However my requirement is to upload data to different variations of CF. I have try to change my excel but some how everytime data is mapping to only master variation. Please advise using excel sheet content fragment import how can I upload data to different variations. Thanks in advance

I'm trying to export XML data from Livecycle Designer-based PDF in the latest Acrobat and Reader (both 2024.002.20736), but that functionality no longer seems to be present. I read somewhere that you're now supposed to do the following steps: From the All tools menu, select Prepare a form and then from the left panel that opens, select > Export data.In the Export Form Data As dialog box, select the format (FDF, XFDF, XML, or TXT) in which you want to save the form data. Then select a location and filename, and select Save. However, when I click "Prepare a form" there is no option export data. Please help.   

Hi Experts, I understand that there is a provision to rename Folders through 'Properties' but it doesn't actually change the node name when I observe in JCR and there is no provision to rename Assets. We are now trying to customize AEM to give users a provision to easily rename folders and files (assets) which also renames node names.  Renaming folders and files is a common use-case and wondering why Adobe haven't addressed this! Are there any under-the-hood technical issues that we are potentially overlooking in implementing this requirement ? Thanks.  

Hi All, The "Policies" tab in the properties for DAM folder is missing in one of the environments. Couldn't find any difference in the permissions for the admin user as well.   Could there be any other setting missing? Kindly suggest. Thank you

hey guys, I recently started working on a migration project wherein the codebase is already having a skeleton cloud compatible repo.They ran the BPA report on AMS Production and then manually did a lift-and-shift from AMS repo to Cloud compatible repo. The expectation is to resolve the issues highlighted in BPA on the cloud compatible repo directly which seemed weird.The first query would be like is this way feasible to do the cloud migration? Currently I am referring to the BPA report and then making changes in the cloud repo. We have already resolved the Build based blocker issues w.r.t Asset Update workflow which were reported by the build pipeline.  Secondly, the cloud-based repo is actually highlighting more issues than the AMS based repo which seemed odd.So I ran the BPA report on a local cloud sdk instance with the below results -  Are these results to be expected on a local cloud sdk version 2024.07?++ @arunpatidar, @estebanbustamant
