AEM Adaptive Form Query

Hi, I was using the save draft feature in one of my adaptive form, but facing an issue while saving the supporting documents. I tried saving the form without supp docs, and it saved. But whenever I try saving by adding the supp docs, its throwing an error.It says "error occurred while draft saving".AEM version used: 6.5.21.0 So, please provide some insights regarding this.

Rule/Script to mask/unmask SSN field

Hi all, I created an Adaptive form and one of the requirements was to mask the PII information (SSN) on the form as the user types and exits the field. For this I have created a JS function that takes the value and replaces first five characters with * (asterisk) and sets the value back on the text field. This is working fine.  Now as the user clicks back into the field, i wanted to show the original value. For this, i created a hidden field and before calling the mask JS function on the field exit, i also set the value of this hidden field with original value of the SSN. But i am unable to find an event that matches the ENTER event or Click event to trigger this script. I have built this form using Foundation components. Any ideas to implement would be helpful. Thanks,Abhishek

Adding Adobe AEMDS Core Document Manager Support

Hi! I am trying to add Adobe AEMDS Core Document Manager Support (adobe-aemds-core-manager), but I don't know where to find it out.  How can I download it to classpath in order to ensure that bundle is present in AEM and it will resolve DocumentSourceHandler class?  Thanks.  Also, do I need to get special authorization from Adobe to install it?

AEM Forms Designer- Landscape Orientation

I have a form that is in Landscape orientation in the designer view, it prints as landscape when printing in PDF form from the file storage area. However, when linked through a server to print automatically it prints in portrait mode with all the landscapes settings, so everything looks small in the top half of the page with some information cut off. Same server, same printer, same settings I have on another form, and that ones does print properly in landscape mode. This other one existed first.I already tried saving the one that works with another name and editing there and it still does not print properly.  Any ideas?

AEM 6.5 Forms Hotfix

Hi, I can't seem to download AEM form hotfix, can someone please help. When I click download, I get AEM_6.5_Unauthenticated_RCE_in_LiveCycle. I have try multiple times and also sign in and out again.

Error on rendering PDF using formService.renderPDF by passing XDP template which has exData

Hi,I am using com.adobe.fd.forms.api.FormService.renderPDFForm for rendering dynamic PDF for a use case. Here I am passing like this:formsService.renderPDFForm("crx://" + xdpPath, xmlDataDocument, renderOptions) The rendered PDF from the above service works for all the cases, except when the XDP template as <value>    <exData contentType="text/html">        <body xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:xfa="http://www.xfa.org/schema/xfa-data/1.0/"><p>sample text</p></body>    </exData></value> the exData is not loading on the rendered PDF. Can anyone help me understand the reason. Is it a bug with the service?

Adaptive form template - not creatable

Trying to follow along with this adobe forms video, but at around 50 seconds in it asks to "create an adaptive form template", which I can't see on my end. Instead for my configured folder, I can only see the options shown in the screenshot.Whats going on?

AEM Forms FDM(Form Data Model) setup for multiple Rest API

I have been delving deeper into AEM Forms features overall such as Adaptive Forms and Interactive Communication. I wanted to reach out to community to check on how is everyone managing the FDM in AEM Forms ? The examples that I come across are mostly based on Salesforce and Microsoft which are more RDBMS style. I wanted to get inputs on how the similar setup would look like for a scenario where you have multiple Rest API providing inputs that needed to prefill the Adaptive Form / Interactive Communication. Do you create separate data source per Rest API and then combine them in a common FDM ? Or keep a one to one mapping between each data source and FDM ? Looking forward to discuss and learn some suggestions / best practices on this topic.

AEM Forms Adaptative Table column binding syntax

I created a table in an Adaptative Form. This table is dynamic. So any number of rows can be added from 0 to 10. The table row is repeatable with these values. And when sent, is generating an array of empty elements. The row bind reference is, let's say, "/mytable/rows" rows: [  {},  {},  ...] I'd like to know what syntax has to be used in each of the column fields to bind them inside each element of the rows array.What I expect to achieve is: rows: [  { col1: "aaaa" },  { col1: "bbbb" },  ...] So far I've tried with:"col1"".col1""./col1""/col1" Does anyone knows the specific syntax to bind the field of a column inside this object? Thanks.

Core Components based form fragment template

I am trying to follow the documentation for creating Core Components based form fragments. It mentions to use template based on Core Components:But there are no template types or templates available for it. I have created and deployed the AEM project using archetype 45 as suggested in the documentation but there is no template for form fragments, only for creating form.Any help on this. cc @kautuk_sahni

Unable to prefill a XFA based PDF with Adaptive Form data submission

Hi all,I am trying to prefill an XFA form (XDP based) through data that is submitted through an Adaptive form.My Adaptive form is based off a JSON (Schema.json) attached. I bound each of the adaptive form field to this JSON. On the other side, I bound my XDP to a XSD file (attached).when i submit my Adaptive form, the form gives out the JSON (response.json), I am using a servlet to convert this to an XML (response.xml) and then use Render Service to stitch together a prefilled PDF form. But this is not working, i always get a blank form without any prefilled data.But when i use same XML and try previewing through AEM Forms designer, the PDF gets prefilled. Not sure what i am missing. I am attaching all the files that i used here. I have configured a FDM datasource Rets Service Type  with aem proxy servlet and created a form data model. I am trying to test my GET service at form data model. when click on test with some input data {"test1": "sample data"}. Hello, I'm trying to remediate security vulnerabilities in our AEM installation.  I have downloaded the adobe-aem-forms-jee-hotfix-6.5.23.0-win-jboss.zip file, and extracted it, and I'm running the aemforms65_cfp_install.exe file in the Disk1/InstData/VM folder.  The patch kicks off, executes, and succeeds.  I then run configuration manager.  The first issue I faced was that I had to copy the commons-io-2.5.jar file from the \Adobe_Experience_Manager_Forms\sdk\client-libs\thirdparty folder to the configuration manager lib directory.  That got me past my first issue, which was: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/commons/io/FileUtils. Trouble using i18n for having multiple languages for AEM Form On-prem

PDF Generation dependency error

I'm using the below imports on AEM aa CS. So i have added the respective dependency as well.
