Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Hi team,I wanted to post this in the LiveCycle forums but it's archived and I need help on this because the guide doesn't explain where I need to look to make this width change work. I have a table with 4 columns where I'm able to manipulate their column widths via this JavaScript command this.resolveNode("Table1").columnWidths = "1.0in 1.0in 3.0in 1.0in"; But if I move this Table under a Page, the function doesn't do anything and it will go with the dimensions that are predefined in the table. How do I get it so I can have the table within the Page and be able to dynamically adjust the columnWidths in the JavaScript layer? Note: The layout is flowed for the subform (top to bottom)

Hello Community Members, I'm currently exploring the AEM form designer, and I find myself in need of some friendly advice. Specifically, I'm curious about how to tailor the content of PDF or XML submissions when using the Submit or Email buttons. Is there a way to selectively exclude or render certain fields blank in the document sent via email? Hello team, I am trying to utilize the DocAssuranceService to encrypt PDFs. Hi,For my project, I would like that *only* the custom form widgets we have created (in the apps folder) are displayed to authors. I don't want authors adding the OOTB textbox/dropdown etc by accident as we have customized these.I have a custom template and a custom etc/design - I thought I could do this like I would with a aem site page, by removing "group:Adaptive" from the components array on the design, but this does not remove the options from the author.Additions to my custom design are added as expected (suggesting that the design is indeed being used). As a test, I even remove "group:Adaptive from all locations where it appears out of the box (3 locations) using the below search:SELECT * FROM [nt:unstructured] AS nodeWHERE ISDESCENDANTNODE(node, "/")AND CONTAINS([components], "group:Adaptive Form")Even after removing these 3 references, the "Adaptive Form" group is show when authoring the form.Where is this defined?How can I prevent this default behaviour from occurring? My form has a field at the beginning where the user defines "full time" or "part time".  If "part time" is selected a "drop down %" field appears and the user defines the %.  This % is then used in a calculation in a table at the bottom of the field, calculating the "Total Pro-Rated Amount" field.   If the "Total Pro-rated Amount" field is less than the "Remaining FY Tuition Allotment" field, the "Final Total Approved Reimbursement" field equals the "Total Pro-Rated Amount" field.  If the "Remaining FY Tuition Allotment" is less than the "Total Pro-rated Amount" field, then the "Final Total Approved Reimbursement" field equals the "Remaining FY Tuition Allotment" field.  To complicate it even more, if the user chooses "full time" then the "Total Pro-Rated Amount" field will be null and at that time, the "Total" field right above it should be compared to the "Remaining FY Tuition Allotment" field and the lesser of these two fields should

Recently I tried creating an Adaptive form using xdp as a template in AemAACS, but I don't see the option of uploaded xdp file in model while creating the form, if xdp files are not used for creating forms anymore what are the xdp files or designer forms used for?

Hi, I have a call to action(CTA) button component on a page, which has target URL pointing to parent. Now when I move that page to parent1, I want the target URL of CTA should change and point to parent1.How can I achieve that? Thanks

Hello,i've created an AEM 6.4 form based on my custom Form Data Model - which exposes two services. I can teste these two services in the FDM definition UI and both return success. In a Form Editor window, i want to create a rule that invokes one of these services, so for then i select Invoke Service option and a dropdown with available services is rendered for me - but none of my services appear in an Invoke Service dropdown. Someone created a form that uses Adaptive Form.I want to include some sort of captcha function on the form.1. I tried using the built-in captcha (Form => Captcha). I made sure the captcha field is ticked as required but I have no problems submitting the form even if the captcha field is blank.2. My form has a Final Total Approved Reimbursement field that should show the lesser of three fields but I cannot get it to work.  I've looked at it so long I can find no reason for it not to. It should be simple enough (that's probably the reason I don't see the error). Hallo Zusammen, da ich den Adobe Experience Manager - Froms (Designer) nicht finden kann, poste ich mal hier.Ich erstelle pdf Formulare. Ich möchte, das ein Feld beim reinklicken die Farbe ändert. Ich finde nicht, wo das geht. Bzw. wenn ich versuche Aktionen einzufügen, also wenn "ist" oder "ist eingegeben" oder sowas, und dann "Hintergrundfarbe ändern" einstelle, passiert leider nichts. Wenn ich es mit der Vordergrundfarbe versuche, ändert sich die Schriffarbe, was mir keinen Sinn macht. Ich kann generell bei den Einstellungen nur die Rahmenfarbe des Kästchens (was per default grau ist) ändern, dann ändert sich interessanterweise auch die Füllung wenn man reinklickt. Aber ich will keinen Rahmen haben und schon garnicht dauerhaft in der Farbe. Ich verstehe leider die Logik nicht und kann nicht finden wie ich das machen kann. Vielleicht kann jemand helfen?

Hello, I cannot deploy adobe-livecycle-jboss.ear to JBoss EAP 7.4.10 with AEM6.5.18.This is a fresh install on W2019, with JBoss Cluster based on JBoss.zip file from AEM Installer. Complete error msg is in attached file.But I see this : WFLYSRV0059: Class Path entry commons-collections-3.2.2.jar in /c:/Appli/jboss/content/adobe-livecycle-jboss.ear/lib/geode-membership-1.15.1.jar does not point to a valid jar for a Class-Path reference.WFLYSRV0059: Class Path entry commons-digester-2.1.jar in /c:/Appli/jboss/content/adobe-livecycle-jboss.ear/lib/geode-membership-1.15.1.jar does not point to a valid jar for a Class-Path reference. Any help on this ? regards 

Hi Everyone,I have a text field like that in AEM formI want to change the firstName and lastName to the particular name which is defined in firstName and lastName fields. I tried to set value (by using rule) to that text field but it doesn't change the content in Document of record.It's gonna change the content in DOR if it's text box... but for the text field, It's always the initial content.Do you guys know how to do that?Thank you so much!

Greetings!I have a need to get some solid documentation on an upgrade path for AEM Designer.I have heard that IF you have an installation of AEM Designer before 6.5.15 and want to upgrade to 6.5.18 you have to do the following:Uninstall the current version.Install 6.5.15 AEM Designer.Apply the 6.5.18 AEM Designer upgrade.Can anyone confirm this procedure?Thank you in advance

Is it possible to convert the fillable XDP files designed in AEM Designer to a PDF file out the AEM environment. Meaning without using the AEM Forms or Output service can we convert the XDP files using any language to a PDF by passing some kind of input data file. So when the XDP is rendered as a PDF, it should create the PDF for the given input data file.  Let me know if this is a possible...

Hi Team Current we are using the AEM Forms Add-on (AEM6.5.17). its purely adaptive forms projects . Please advise whether we can use Core Component to leverage the JSON Exporter for Content Services Instead of Forms Component which are not JSON Exporter . RegardsVara   

HiI have created a simple demo to illustrate the use case of starting with an adaptive form. Then you realize you are not able to complete the form online, so you download a PDF version of the form to be filled in offline mode using Acrobat/ReaderTo submit the form, you get back to the Adaptive Form and import the PDF to populate the Adaptive Form with the data from the PDF. Let me know what you think of this use case. Hello everybody,We try to create adaptive form fragment (table) as lazy loading due to a large amount of data.Creating section with a table as fragment works ok, but after checking Load fragment lazilythe table is never populated. Can somebody help ?  (AEM 6.5 JEE)Regards Jiri

I'm trying to Lazy Load the fragments on my form, but the data tables are not displaying the data. All the data cells are blank. All fields have been set as GlobalAccording to the guides I need to implement:Use panel reset feature to reset everything visible on the panel by using the following click expression.guideBridge.resolveNode(guideBridge.getFocus({“focusOption”: “navigablePanel”})).resetData()Where do I trigger this? The panel with the fragment that has the lazy loading doesn't have a 'on-click' option in the rules.Do I simply copy this into the "initialize" rule? This doesn't help, the data still does not display.There is a previous question like this that doesn't have an answer (no I cannot test it with a later service pack). I am really desperate. The client is refusing to even start testing as the form takes too long to load.

Hello, I developed a new Appointment component which is a combination of { Calendar + DropDown + Radio group }. May I know how does guideBridge derives the properties of this component on an Adaptive form.For Example : Currently the component's validation (or) value properties are only considering the "Calendar's" section of the component (may be since I developed this component based on the existing Calendar component.) So how can I make the guideBridge object maintain the data of this component as 1. Value : to be a combination of all three widget.2. Validation : to be considered as valid only when all 3 widgets are filled.

It appears that Wizard Layout allows to create Multi-Step forms in Adaptive Forms. Is it possible to leverage Adaptive Forms for dynamically generating PDFs based on input from a Multi-Step Form? If so, kindly provide the steps for generating PDFs.
