Adobe Experience Manager Forms

Hi All,   I have made some changes in Adaptive Forms and now i want to check the original Version of Adaptive form.   I am not able to see the changes. I tried in "TimeLine" tab and no version are there in Adaptive form.   Is there any way i can see the changes.    

I'm running Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.10.0 and getting the following errors in the console when I try to edit a Forms Theme.  It shows the loading graphic, downloads the jcr_content and throws the following errors.   I'm also seeing the following errors when trying to edit a form. The loading animation runs but the form editor never loads.   Then if I try to load a form in a page, I get "org.apache.sling.api.SlingException: Cannot get DefaultSlingScript". We were having issues on a previous service pack (6.5.7 and possibly 6.5.4) with the Forms Theme Editor just downloading the jcr_content, which isn't much of an issue in the long run and I worked around it, but now the forms won't load at all.  Is there anything I can do to fix this short of rolling back the SP? 

I need help with Adobe Forms,   I have an existing website that is built with different cms, not in AEM. Now we need to integrate Adobe form with this website actually we will get the JSON response from the microservices using the existing website and we need to be created the dynamic forms using Adobe forms so my question is that using JSON response can we create a dynamic Adobe form? is it feasible and it's a good approach?   Or can we use Adobe Franklin? Please suggest any good link to learn this.   I sincerely appreciate your help.   //Abhi

Are there templates or instructions how to hide pages in a form when i select another page?Would like to create a form with Adobe Acrobat 2020 that contains 3 pages and each page is a form in itself. When I open a page, only one form should be displayed (the other two should be invisible). A page a form in itself. I can create individual forms, but how do I manage to create 3 in 1.   Thx in advance Niko

Hi, We are migrating a load of XDP forms from LIvecycle to AEM. There are many Common Fragment XDPs for items like headers, footers, field types etc which are referenced relatively in AEM Designer and currently rendered through LCServer perfectly.   When we load all the XDP files (Fragments and Forms) in the same folder structure as on local disk the Forms fail to pull in the Fragments. The fragments are pulled into the form using subform and usehref such as <subform x="0in" y="0in" usehref="..\..\..\fragments\headers\main-header.xdp"/> If I edit the 'original' file rendition in CRXDE and another level the form renders correctly <subform x="0in" y="0in" usehref="..\..\..\..\fragments\headers\main-header.xdp"/> I wondering if this is because the file node in AEM contains a jcr:content node which is where the sling:resourceType is defined. I would assume that this has come up many times as people have migrated from LC to AEM but I cannot find any documentation to address

Hi All,   Once we are doing some changes/modification in the Adaptive form and Publishing it. Then the changes are not reflecting in the AEM forms pages where we have referenced Adaptive forms.   Do we need to also publish the AEM pages as well where the corresponding Adaptive forms has been modified and Published. What is the correct design to handle this scenario.   User Might not remember the page where it is referenced.   Thanks in Advance.

Hi,    I am trying do a submission from AEM Forms to a SharePoint list, but I can't do so because the SharePoint API is not open- ended. I was told I could try to configure REST API using swagger URL. I am in the "Create data Source Configuration" section and I can't seem to get the Swagger URL correct. Can someone please help me? Is this even possible?   Thank you.

Good morning,   I've done a ton of these and i don't know what is going on this time. I have a Table with (2 headers,1 row) and everything is set to "allow page break" but when i copy a pretty big chunk of text into that box, the overflow onto the next page is not executed. If i have that field out of the table, it works fine. but inside that table, it doesn't carry over properly onto next page.   Now this is a dynamic table, which means "i got the "Repeat Row for each Data" checked.   I just don't get why its not behaving right. Any ideas?? thanks so much.

Hi all, has anyone ever had a successful clean compilation of all out-of-the-box HTML Client Libraries?     After upgrading a AEM 6.5.15 instance to AEM 6.5.16 + AEM Forms 6.5.16 Add-on, there have been many compilation errors in the logs indicating incompatible ECMASCRIPT6 syntax being used.  Following are the steps used:  Have a clean AEM 6.5.15 + AEM Form 6.5.15 Add-on setup then upgrade it to AEM 6.5.16 + AEM Forms 6.5.16 Add-on. From /system/console/configMgr, delete Adobe Granite Html Library Manager configuration to force it back to factory default configuration. From /libs/granite/ui/content/dumplibs.rebuild.html, invalidate caches and then rebuild libraries. Hello,   I need to add Dynamic validation to /libs/fd/af/components/guidefield component.   It is dynamic because  for each selection value, I select there must be unique validation applied to guidefield component based on user input value to the field.   For example   Selection 1:    A>guidefield  validation must be regex applied must be  AXXX-XXX4 B>The error displayed must be please enter in the format AXXX-XXX4 Selection 2  : a>guidefield  validation must be regex applied must be  BXXX-XXXX-XXX9 B>The error displayed must be please enter in the format BXXX-XXXX-XXX9   could you please provide  inputs as how this could be  implemented and how to apply dynamic error messages.   Regards, Srinivas

Hello,   I have a text field component and need to change the validation dynamically based on selection drop down.   Could you please provide inputs as how to resolve it.   I . We can get the component details using guidebridge using  let text_component =guideBridge.resolveNode("text_input_component");   2.noticed that  displayPictureClause is used for validation. How to set it I can get the current value set by doing    text_component.displayPictureClause   But my requirement is I would want to set it dynamically.   by doing text_component.displayPictureClause="regex expression"   does not work.   3> I would want to set the validatePictureClauseMessage also dynamically    

Good day,   I have a table row which is hidden.  The script is in the initialize event.  The row appears when a selection is chosen in a row that contains a drop down menu.  I also have a button that creates a similar table.  The problem is that when I create a similar table, the row is hidden again. I need it to stay visible and to keep the same information that is in the previous table. I'm pretty sure it's because of the script that is in the initialize event but I'm not sure.  The script is...this.presence = "hidden";I could not figure out any other way to hide this row when the form is opened.  Is there a script to add to the create similar table that I should use? or do I need to remove the script from the initialize event?  Not sure what to do.  Any suggestions/fixes is appreciated.

Does anyone know where the LiveCycle Designer es2 Download is? I cannot find it anywhere now. It always links to es4.  As well, if a form is done in es4, does it work in Livecycle pdf generator es2?Thanks

There may be times that minor touch ups to out-of-the-box submission actions for addressing business needs through Sling Resource overlaying may look an appealing option.  However, it was found in our environment that applying the concept of Sling Resource Merger in AEM against out-of-the-box submission actions doesn't always work.   When overlaying components in /libs with structure in /apps, it is not necessary to create 1:1 copy of the resource or node, however, in the case of AEM Forms submission action, it's not the case.  Doing so will end up a working submission action overlay but the Forms Authoring UIs will no longer present the overlaid actions in the form submission type drop down list.    After investigated, it turns out that the Forms Authoring UIs use following code from /libs/fd/af/components/commons/datasources/propertyprovider/propertyprovider.jsp to present the available submission action type:     optio
