Adobe Experience Manager Forms

I am working on requirement where I need to pre populate half of the sections with multiple fields and attachments in adaptive form other form data which has already submitted. Since the data model /XSD is similar for both of the forms I am thinking to capture data xml of previous submission and remove elements which are not present in new form.  I am able to populate data but facing issue with attachments. I am curious to know if there is any way to retrieve all attachments from previous submission with help of prefill service. Any suggestion to implement this would be really helpful and  highly appreciated.

Could not apply/close the dialog in a component after browser resize. Hello Community, It has been a while that I posted something here. A lot of people want to leverage form with DAM assets. I am using an existing client library that has worked before. Hello, I currently have a use case where the user fills in the adaptive form and should be able to download the Document of Record PDF (XDP template) with the form data by clicking a button. The purpose of this use case is so the entered data is not stored in AEM or a database, so the adaptive form only serves as a form filler. From my initial findings, there is a Java API you can use to generate the DoR:https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-3/forms/javadocs/com/adobe/aemds/guide/addon/dor/DoRService.html What would be the best way to implement this API for use in an adaptive form? I would like this to be used for a majority of my forms. Thank you

Hello All, Whenever we are trying to invoke any process that uses generatePDFOutput service. We get corba time out error in the log for the first time The same works perfectly fine second time. We have increased every possible timeout in the server such as JTA, MaxStuckthread timeout etc. Still it does not gets fixed. Restarting the server helps only for sometime. After few hours we again get those issues. The environment details are given below. AEM Forms JEE 6.5 + Weblogic 12.2.1.3.0 + Linux + MS SQL Server 2016. Hello. I'm working on a form in AEM Forms. I have AEM 6.5.5.0 with the appropriate Forms module for OSX listed here: https://helpx.adobe.com/pl/aem-forms/kb/aem-forms-releases.html. Everything is working correctly. I'm struggling with one thing: I'm trying to set a multi-column layout in my form similar to the one recorded here: https://youtu.be/VY70RfaS0nM?t=576. The video shows how to set three columns in the root panel in AEM 6.4. In 6.5 I don't see the "Number of columns" dropdown in the Root panel properties. Is there a way to change the number of columns in AEM 6.5? How can I achieve that? Thanks in advance 🙂

I have a form where we need a field on one page to be autofilled with the text entered in another.The difficulty is we need to allow the user to be able to override the second, autofilled field if need be, so using the same field name and setting binding to global doesn't allow for that. I've tried putting a script in set to calculate. First field is Year1_text.   Value is User Enter-RequiredSecond field (to be autofilled) is Year1.  Value is set to Calculated-User Can OverrideLanguage is set for Javascript script on Year1 field is:this.rawValue=Year1_text.rawValue I can't seem to get it to work.

Now Adobe have removed the "create component" "create template" and "create Dialog" menu items from crx/de, these have to be created by hand in the IDE. This is fine, except 100% of the tutorials use the menu menthod, so I cant find any info on how to create the necessary files and folders by hand. Looking at the hello world example, its component looks like this: /ui.apps/src/main/content/jrc_root/apps/wknd/components/helloworld   _cq_dialog      .content.xml   .content.xml   helloworld.html However, if we look at a different component, we see a different structure:  button      .content.xml do the files have to be called .content.xml, or can they be named anything?is _cq_dialog a reserved directory name, or something made up by the dev? What are the required/optional files and folders?What are the naming conventions?Are there any other tools to create components, now the main one has been r

According to the tutorials, in the local author instance, in crx/de, if I navigate to /apps/wknd/components I should be able to create new components by right clicking. I can create folders or nodes, but thats it.  The other options have always been missing.  I am logged in as admin/admin, and I deployed wknd using mvn clean install -PautoInstallSinglePackage.  I have also tried creating a folder under /apps/wknd/components and creating under that, but same problem. Any ideas?  

We need to add a iframe in the page and inside iframe we are calling a website which has functionality to zoom in & out. But as soon we try to zoom in / out using mouse scroll inside iframe, main page start scrolling.We tried to add the functionality of scrolling="no" but it doesn't work. We have only below options to edit   Kindly suggest.

Hello to everybody,I developed a form with a custom submit action which calls a service. This service calls an API endpoint to save some data. In this process anything can go wrong like connection errors and so on. So then my service returns an error code 500.In this case the AEM Form shows an alert box with an AEM Forms error code "AEM-AF-901-004". But I don't want to show this alert box. In all backend error cases, I will show to the user a styled error message above the form like "Something went wrong. Please try again later!". I can't find a description how to define such global error messages. But actually it is a common case, right? Can you give me some links or hints how to do it?Regards, Andrea

Hi, I am trying to creating to simple AEM Form with Sign component, where Step 1: Customer and fill form, Step 2: review step and Step 3: sign in one flow.1. In Form properties DOR is selected2. Similarly selected Sign cloud service in form container.3. Added Sign signature component I am able to see sign component in DOR and verify step, but behavior I wanted is a form with sign or pdf with sign this doesn't happen rather I see empty step blank widgetrefer to screenshot and let me know if am missing something.If I try to add verify sign component, it says it is legacy and cannot be used now. Why is this so?
