Adobe Experience Manager Forms

 I have a table with 3 columns and rows row1, row2 and row3. The third column consist of a sub-form each with radio buttons, text boxes etc. The cell3 within the subform of each row has a text populated based on radio button selection. I would like to have a text field outside table which would concatenate the texts from the 3 Cell3 and remove the duplicates. Based on this cell value the body of the form would automatically populate. Can anyone please help me with this? Thanks

I'm just beginning to learn AEM Adaptive forms. I'm trying to manually implement the same layout that comes with the Basic reference template. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the Form Title and Panel Titles to display. They're not listed in the component structure, and I don't see any configuration options. I am on AEM 6.5 if that makes a difference.

HelloWe would like to use Due Date for Tasks. This works fine, when using the Inbox, Status, remaining time .. are shown. Is it possible to generate a reminder notification (sample Due Date 14 days and a reminder after 10 days) / what could be used for? What can we do with the timeoutHandler / Looking for something like notification or reassignemnt after reaching the Due Date .. I found https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-64/forms/workflows/aem-forms-workflow-step-reference.html Assign task step ...Timeout Handler: Select the script to be executed when the assign task step crosses the due date. Scripts placed in the CRX-repository at #/fd/dashboard/scripts/timeoutHandler are available for selection. The specified path does not exist in crx-repository. An administrator creates the path before using it. I managed to place and select the script - what can be done here - are there sample scripts available .. Thanks in Advance for any

Hi,  Our systems dispatcher.log file size surges suddenly. Even after nullifying the file, it increases upto 500mb/min. This file eats all the disk space in the dispatcher server. Can anyone advice how to resolve this issue.  Thanks in advance.  

I have an image and video dropdown based on which the following field for video or image link is displayed.. I have a requirement to save the value from the selected field to a single property in jcr. i.e If the video was selected the link property should be video link and the next time when the image is selected the link should be updated to image link. I have a sling model using which this data is exposed as json and final json should have only one value for the link (image or video) .   

OS. CentOS 7 (via Windows Subsystem for Linux).HostOS: Windows 10 .AEM Version: 6.4. Need a "PDF" button to save form as PDF. (Forms.exe won't start...likely needs Acrobat) My co-worker has this working in Windows 10/AEM Forms. I can migrate to that, but looking into a solution for WSL/CentOS/headless. Thanks so much,-Joel

AEM forms 6.5 (Centos) Using Decimal, num{z9.99%} does not show percentage after decimal. Input is 0.6503. Should show "65.03%". We try to use Workflow Metadata inside Assign Task notification eMail. Sample https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-64/forms/publish-process-aem-forms/use-metadata-in-email-notifications.html#using-custom-metadata-in-an-email-notification is working fine. When using var wfmetadata = workItem.getWorkflow().getMetaDataMap(); witch is working in participantChoser getParticipant() we get error/apps/fd/dashboard/scripts/metadataScripts/kpbTaskMetaData_v1.ecma: ReferenceError: "workItem" is not defined. I've set up a data source with authentication type OAuth 2.0. The connection seems fine and the node info is saved.I've then used this data source in my Form Data Model. When I try to test the service I get this error:{"errorMessage": "com.adobe.aemfd.dermis.authentication.exception.AuthenticationException: OAuthProblemException{error='invalid_request', description='Missing parameters: code redirect_uri', uri='null', state='null', scope='null', redirectUri='null', responseStatus=0, parameters={}}: OAuthProblemException{error='invalid_request', description='Missing parameters: code redirect_uri', uri='null', state='null', scope='null', redirectUri='null', responseStatus=0, parameters={}}"} It seems it's not using the data source values in the request?Could I be missing some configuration?Do any of you have the same issue? SOAP call to AEM 6.5 is not returning Binary content it just returns the URL. The Proxy has been generated with blob=base64. What else could be the issue? 

We are attempting to connect to AEM 6.5 from a legacy system that was connected to AEM6.4. Hi,I am trying to submit my AEM Adaptive Forms using Submit to REST endpoint option.I've integrated the form with Adobe Sign Cloud Service and selected generate DoR option for forms.Now, I require to submit the adobe sign issued Agreement Id along with forms data to the Rest Endpoint where I need to store the Id along with forms data into a DB.I am able to read the agreement id using object : "guidelib.runtime.adobeSign.submitData.agreementId" after the dor is shown in Signature Step component.I tried to store this value in a form field but this value is not getting reflected in the submitted data coming to Rest Endpoint but I can see that value has been assigned as I've logged it in browser console before and after submission. Is there a way to pull agreement Id with form data while submitting to the REST endpoint.

Hi, We have couple of workflows running on AEM Forms JEE. We are thinking of using the similar workflow in OSGi. To start with rendering a PDF form using a xdp. I created the workflow and given the payload through an absolute path where the xdp is located. When I started the workflow, all I got is a notification in inbox where only I could see the xdp as payload and option to complete/delegate the task etc. I was interested to see if the PDF document comes as an output from the workflow as it used to be in osgi. Also, I could not find an option to make a variable as input or output, so that when the workflow gets invoked it would ask for an input variable and would show the output. Thanks,Bibhu.

Hi,in the Designer of Aem Forms I used a subform with Content: Flowed and Flow direction: Western Text. Inside I have inserted 3 vertical subforms as columns. When it reachs the end of the page and splits to go to the next page, the first column is arranged correctly (starting from page 1 and ending on page 2), while the following columns start directly from page 2, leaving free space above them in the bottom of page 1. How can I get the right behavior? Thank you

Hello,I would like to ask a question about the "Repeat Subform for each data item" option present in the Aem Forms Designer in Object-> Binding. If I connect the element I want to repeat to the data of the XMl file through the "Data binding" field and select "Repeat Subform for each data item" the result I see in the preview is correct but it gives me a warning like "The maximum repeat value for this subform is set to a higher value than the data connection" if the number of connected data is equal to 1. Is it possible to use the option whether the number of data is > 1 or equal to 1? I have tried with different values also on "Min count"and "Max count" but the warning remains.

My question is how can we insert a  repeatable field/group of fields into a Database using the Form Data Model.I've tried creating two separate tables in my DB and making an association from one to child model in Form Data Model editor but it only provides us with get service to configure for the association.So, whenever I try to post the data to the main Form Data Model it only stores the data in the main table but nothing is getting added into the associated table (with repeatable fields).Please help me out if there's any other way we can establish this requirement using OOTB.

Hi All,I'm using Adaptive table to display open tickets and also provided 2 buttons "Open" and "Resolved" to show respective tickets.Now on load of the panel, by default showing the open tickets and when user clicks on "Resolved" button i need to fetch the records from RESTFul service and display the records in the same table.Now the issue is I'm not able to remove the records from the previous request. Basically i need to reset the table after making new RESTFul service and dynamically load the data. Bit apprehensive why this should be so difficult in Adaptive Forms. I tried below 2 approaches but didn't work.1. table1585577511230.resetData();This only cleared the rows and continue to see the dummy records. When i switch back between "Open" and "Resolved" button the rows are getting appended with blank data.2.while (table1585577511230._Row1.count > 1){table1585577511230._Row1.removeInstance(0);}This is not clearing/removing the blank records. I could consider using 2

hi, I'm new to AEM Forms. I would like to ask how to calculate the height of a subform which varies according to the number of data passed. The subform is of the Flowed type, the height varies according to the number of elements contained in it (which depends on the number of data it finds). Is it possible to use javascript to calculate its height before printing, and then, using this value in a if control, to display another subform with a certain height rather than another? Thank you

I exported the runtime config from my dev AEM Forms 6.5 machine and after deploying the application lca on our test server with exact same configuration, I imported the runtime configuration file, but I get "name and id required" error message on the screen. We have a lot of XDPs in AEM 6.5 OSGI which are to be rendered as HTML5All forms submit to the same jsp which generates a PDF and streams it back. Since we want to centrally control the submitURL for all forms, and not define it for each individually, we created a submitURL property on our custom render profile node, and then we altered the config.jsp of our custom render profile to read this submitURL property. All works fine. However it still requires the URL to be an absolute path with hostname and port etc..such as http://[aemserver]:[port]/content/SubmissionHandler/GeneratePDF.html this would pose a problem, if we were to expose the forms to public, since our AEM server will not be directly available from outside the firewall.We need some way to define this as a relative path, so that instead of looking for AEM Publish directly, it goes back through : Firewall >> Dispatcher >> Publish
