It would be helpful to have a read-only user role for users who would like access to Marketo to view campaigns and reports but not have access to edit/create assets. This would provide control to admins/trained users and minimize errors like running a flow step or changing activated campaigns.
We would love to be able to get or set URL parameters via a token. In many cases we are tracking sources from outside media with a URL parameter (i.e. source=partner). It would be great to be able to continue to pass that parameter along to other URLs on the landing page with something like 'http://markeo-landingpage/page.html?{{URLToken.("source)}}. In this manner, the token would be continued to be passed to other Marketo landing pages for processing on Form Fills.
I am a big fan of program statuses. It's always worth the extra time to build in a couple of smart campaigns (which can be cloned of course) to update these statuses based on lead behaviour. However, surely there must be a away of automating this for email programs, which are the most often used for most I would imagine.Although I can clone these campaigns, they still require work and as we use so many I am sure the productivity gains would be huge. For example, I have 2 campaigns. Campaign 1 listens for delivery, open, click and unsubscribe and the flow then updates the status depending on what happened. Campaign 2 listens for a sceific click to act as converted.Plus of course, after the email flow to send I have to update all leads to Sent.Plus if for soem reason I can't clone and am starting from scratch, or cloning a template, there is a lot more work to do to specify the email in the triggers, the if choices and the program to be update in the if choices.I just think there could be a more elegant way of doing this in the background with the program simplu prompting the use for the converted links from the email and everythig else being handled by the program.
This has happened so many times when my coworkers are editing an unapproved or new email, instead of editing the email, they accidentally click on the link for the template of the email. I do not know why, but it does say template, but they still click on it assuming that that's what they need to edit. It would be nice if only marketo admins can click on the link, or move it at the bottom of the page or don't make it an active link.
