A/B testing winner based on % not raw numbers. Using the current method with raw numbers can lead to a false positive. For example,We ran an A/B test with three different subject lines. We use the open rate to declare a winner. Unfortunately the 'winner' was not the true winner. Due to bounces the deliverability is not equal between all variations. Our test group was 10684. 8504 were delivered within our time frame.A. 3232 were delivered, 798 were opened.B. 2806 were delivered, 674 were opened.C. 2466 were delivered, 644 were opened.Looking at the raw opens the winner was A. However, based on open rates, C was the true winner followed by A.Open RateA. 24.69%B. 24.02%C. 25.70%
It would be great if there was a series of resources that we could use to sell Marketo internally. We are going through the process of implementing Marketo and need to generate some resources that we can present to the sales team, customer support and executive. Each group needs to understand different elements of the platform. It would be invaluable to have a set of resources avaialble to help these groups understand what their world will look like once Marketo has launched.
I have noticed that a SEND ALERT flow step will not process when the field email suspended = TRUE on a lead record (details on field below). Why is this a problem?: If anyone has an automated campaign that sends alerts to your sales team, you might be affected. There might be some leads where the alerts are not sent. In my case, a lead filled out a form, submitted a phone number, and because our thank you letter was rejected by the lead's email server as SPAM, an alert was NOT sent internally to Sales. Luckily I manually caught this, but I do not understand why the alert flow step would be blocked by this field and think it should be changed. It could be costing you. Email Suspended: true Email Suspended Cause: 550 The content of this message looked like spam. Email Suspended At: Jan 23, 2014 4:17 PM
We want to use Video in Email. To do this you need to use HTML 5 and tag <video>. Unfortunately, Marketo editor change <! Doctype html> to <! DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "- / / W3C / / DTD HTML 4.01 ...> and because of that <video> tag does not work. It would be great if DOCTYPE was not changed. In this case we could use video playback in the ecards (in e-mail clients that support this functionality).
In Form 1.0, you were able to view hidden field values in the general section of the form editor. It looks like with Form 2.0, we lost that ability, and now you have to click into each individual field in order to see its set value. It would be great it you could bring that functionality back so reviewing forms can be easier.
Can we get this feature added?Idea based on this thread: https://community.marketo.com/MarketoDiscussionDetail?id=90650000000Pm2LAASBeen trying to get a Marketo follow up page (or a Non-Marketo page) to populate the URL with lead details using the new Forms 2.0 after a form submitted. In the settings section we can point to a follow up page by URL, Was trying to add {{lead.First Name}} token at the end.
As there are more and more french instance, it will be quite great to also have help articles translated in french too.for exemple for leads life cycle, statut, reporting - "Revenue cycle explorer and model", it's will be quite useful to show the life cycle model keywords in English and in French. so that for those who has only french instance can also understand the english discussion or training about life cycle in the right way.
Sorry if this is a duplicate idea... We often need to look at a lead's activity history when working with tasks relating to the person. It would be great to be able to link directly to the Marketo record directly from within SFDC.
