Description -Per Workfront Support > "For Kanban, tasks from "On Hold" projects typically remain visible on the board because Kanban focuses on continuous delivery and flow. However, for Scrum, tasks do disappear, as Scrum works in fixed sprints, and to maintain workflow, non-active tasks should not be displayed."The reasoning for the difference in functionality does not make sense. You can not focus on continuous delivery and flow is you cannot work on the card when a project is on hold. The system prevents you from updating the card, and rightly so. The Kanban board should not display work that cannot be worked on. Why is this feature important to you -The current behavior is confusing and keeps the board cluttered with work that cannot be worked on. Unlike the Scrum team where Tasks in an On Hold project drop off the backlog and sprints. How would you like the feature to work -The functionality should mimic the Scrum setup. If a project is on hold, then the cards should drop off the Kanban backlog or the board if already put on the board. Tasks that cannot be worked on should not show. Current Behaviour -If you have a card on your Kanban Board and the project is put On Hold, the card becomes stuck on your board. You cannot update the status, progress, or assignments because it the source project is on Hold.
Red Hat uses a variety of Kanban boards to manage work. Many of these boards have different statuses that are unique to each project. The following limitations prevent us from using Kanban boards at scale in Workfront.Cards cannot be moved out of the backlog without physically dragging them.We have projects with hundreds of stories in the backlog. Physically tracking down cards to move them forward after clicking into a card isn’t possible, especially when projects can contain many cards that end users are responsible for moving (see the appendix for details on one such process). We would simply like to be able to move cards out of the backlog from within the card, in the same way something can be moved from “New” to “In-progress” after it's out of the backlog.Kanban boards cannot be filtered, except by the user working on the card.Current tooling allows us to filter within any field and build advanced filters with if/and statements.Statuses can’t be readily customized by Kanban board, except within groups, which do not usually align to specific Kanban boards. This causes governance problems as — even within groups — there can be many boards with many different statuses.Ideally, we could create a custom field and use that for status within a Kanban board.
Description: We would love to see additional fields directly visible on a card when looking at a board rather than clicking into each card. Why is this feature important to you: This could help with quicker prioritization, understanding capacity, and organizing the work within a board without as many clicks/steps. How would you like the feature to work: Unlock the Visible on Board option for custom fields for at least a few (understanding only so much fits on a card) like maybe having a space below the assignments/due date/status that allows for up to 2 or 3. Current Behaviour: Visiblity on card only functional for pre-built fields Thank you!
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Adobe provides monthly twice updates to AEMaaCS Environments. Even better, Adobe introduced Non-Intrusive Updates. But the updates are happening only to Prod and non-prod environments. No ability for RDE to update. Developers have to trash RDE and spin new RDE to receive latest updates. Use-case: Extend the ability to update AEM servers to RDE environments as well. Current/Experienced Behavior: RDE Environment cannot be updated to latest AEM version. Needs to be trashed and recreated new. This mandates redeploy to code, configuration, content and is time consuming. Improved/Expected Behavior: RDE provides Update option similar to Non-prod environments Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): RDE on AEMaaCS Customer-name/Organization name: SGWS Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if applicable):
The External Lookup custom field should allow for OAuth JWT authentification. This feature is important, because of IT security guidelines.Currently, the external lookup field only allows for basic authentication via key-value pair
Apologies if this exists, but I cannot find it.It would great if you had the ability to link segments to other segments so that if Segment B is dependent on Segment A, and Segment A changes, Segment B would inherit the changes. See below for a use case in which I think this would be helpful.Use Case: Funnel AnalysisStep 1: I create the following sequential segments.1. Product Page2. Product Page > Cart Add3. Product Page > Cart Add > Cart4. Product Page > Cart Add > Cart > Checkout5. Product Page > Cart Add > Cart > Checkout > OrderStep 2: I create a report using these segments with the visits metrics to create a funnel. This works really well for me. The challenge I have is that I have 8000 + product categories on my site. If I want to look at the same funnel for our 'Electronics' category I have to do the following:Re-create each segment and add category logic:1. Product Page (Electronics Segment)2. Product Page (Electronics Segment) > Cart Add (Electronics Segment)3. Product Page (Electronics Segment) > Cart Add (Electronics Segment) > Cart (Electronics Segment)4. Product Page (Electronics Segment) > Cart Add (Electronics Segment) > Cart (Electronics Segment) > Checkout (Electronics Segment)5. Product Page (Electronics Segment) > Cart Add (Electronics Segment) > Cart (Electronics Segment) > Checkout (Electronics Segment) > Order (Electronics Segment)I cannot simply drop an Electronics Segment on Top because an Electronics product needs to exist at each step. A Hit of Visit Segment does not support this analysis. It will also be very time consuming to recreate this for every category. Thus, the ability to have dynamic or linked segments would make this much more efficient. What I propose:In my electronics example, wiithin each segment, the electronics portion of the segment would be a link to a dynamic segment. Within Analysis workspace (or other interface) I would be able to:1. Select a different segment to use on the fly. i.e. if I wanted to compare 2 different categories.2. Save the segment to be a hard coded segment. i.e. If the team responsible for electronics wanted to always have this segment for themseleves they could save it as there own with the configuration of their choosing. The above allows an end user to simply select the correct segment rather than recreating this multiple times for all categories. They could do this quickly by making configration dynamic.
Currently, users are able to select multiple projects and are able to Add a Custom Form to selected objects such as Projects with a single Save. (For example... see Add custom form field in screenshot). Users are apparently unable to do this for Programs. When my company wants to roll out a new form for all existing programs we would have to add the form one by one. Please enable the ability to add a Custom form while bulk editing Programs.
I understand I can change the constraints of a task at the individual task level, or at the project level if I use a template. I would like to be able to set the constraint on a project without using a template, and without doing it individually on tasks. Please add this as an enhancement for future release. For example, I'd like to be able to calculate start date, end date, and duration is these three ways: Duration and Start date = calculate End date (existing functionality)Duration and End date = calculate Start date (existing functionality)Start and End dates = calculate duration (requested functionality)
We send a an hours report to our billing department. The data we send is the summary tab that is grouped by hour type, account and project. The issue with this report is that the summary version of the report puts an unnecessary "Sum:", "Count:", "average:" etc before the actual value. Can the description of the value be headed as either a column heading or another column next to it? The unnecessary descriptor exports to excel in the same cell requiring in the accounting team to manipulate the data so that they can get the actual value.
We are looking for customization in sorting/viewing our updates. Specifically, Project > Updates can be hard to navigate through/follow and with multiple email notifications coming through on the same project it is hard to click to the actual thread and sometimes results in scrolling/starting a new thread and missing key details relative to the project. This is especially helpful with multiple teams working on a project at the same time. Looking for a 'sort by' option to be made available on the updates page to custom sort the threads whether by when the thread was started, or to have the most recent update to a thread pull that thread to the top of the page. Workfront has confirmed: When someone comments on an old thread in the updates section of any project, their comment stays at the bottom or their original place, and users need to scroll down to view the comment on the thread. This is working as intended.
In the Environment Configuration area (https://experience.adobe.com/#/@nos/cloud-manager/environments.html/program/XXXX/environment/XXXXX -> Configuration), i't will be nice if we could complement the table with a description field and allow this field to be filterable, this would allow those who have several sites to filter the variables by site (for example). It would also be nice if you could sort the fields alphabetically.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Enhance AssetCompute microservice to accept altText Use-case: Today AssetCompute microservice, helps to upload asset. If the asset has associated `altText` or additional metadata, the code has to wait until processing complete event. And then update `altText` and metadata. If the microservice itself supports updating additional metadata to asset, can help saving second trip to update. Current/Experienced Behavior: No ability to update asset metadata during create Improved/Expected Behavior: API supports ability to update (limited) metadata during create itself. Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Currently in AEM DAM AVIF file are not supported. It would be required to support this format whenever user upload the image and want to use it in the content Use-case: When Author upload AVIF file (file with AVIF extension, file in AVIF format) to DAM THEN file is processed correctly, thumbnails are generated AND Author can use file in AVIF format on a page (eg. in the Image component) Current/Experienced Behavior: Author can't use file in AVIF format on a page (eg. in the Image component) Improved/Expected Behavior: Author can use file in AVIF format on a page (eg. in the Image component) Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): Customer-name/Organization name: Screenshot (if applicable): Code package (if applicable):
Description - Ability to have a single project linked to a card instead of each individual task linked to a card in Boards layoutWhy is this feature important to you - Would help in visually planning and mapping out projects coming down the pipeline and aid in prioritization and categorizations in a board format which is often easier for our creative team to follow. How would you like the feature to work - Have the ability to have a card be linked to a total project instead of individual tasks or issues. Primarily for planner use and setting priorities.Current Behaviour - n/a - attempting to plan with lists only and outside planning tools like calendars, trello, etc.
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: Automating the Creation and Edition of Front-End Pipelines via: 1) API https://developer.adobe.com/experience-cloud/cloud-manager/reference/api/#tag/Pipelines and/or 2) aio cli https://github.com/adobe/aio-cli-plugin-cloudmanager Use-case: As DevOps we want to automate the creation and edition of front-end pipelines within Adobe Cloud Manager. This involves setting up a process where pipelines are instantiated without manual intervention whenever new code is ready to be deployed. Without this feature we can't fully automate onboarding new sites and it generates unnecessary costs of manual work. Current/Experienced Behavior: Methods are now available only in CM private backend API (https://cm.adobe.io/). Improved/Expected Behavior: Methods to create and edit front-end pipelines available in public API ( https://cloudmanager.adobe.io) Environment Details (AEM version/service pack, any other specifics if applicable): AEM Release: 2024.9.17689.20240905T073330Z Customer-name/Organization name: F.
