Hi Community! Hoping someone can help me.I've recently enabled a custom Salesforce object in Marketo. I see I can now trigger based on "added to <<custom object>>". I see I can constrain this trigger based on only those who match a constraint criteria that is a field in the custom object, which I assume only applies at the time of being associated to the custom object. What I'd really like to do is trigger based on a data value change to a field on the custom object, but I can't find a way to do it. The best I can see is to run a daily batch, but ideally I'd love to make it run in real time.It would be fantastic if Marketo added a "data value changed on <<custom object>>" trigger which could then be constrained to new and/or old values of specific fields.Has anyone run into this? Any thoughts?

hi everybody,   I have a question: in other email tools such as Hubspot it is possible to automatically exclude unengaged users, i.e. users that did not open the last emails we've send them, from receiving emails.   Is there a simple way to do that in Marketo? Or do I have to work with smart lists to get that done?   My goal is to reduce the number of emails send to recipients that did not open the last emails we've send them.    Thank you & kind regards,

We've recently had an email released to an incorrect audience. When we talked to support they showed us the issue, but we don't have records of that user in our Admin Audit Trail logs making that change. Also, on our screen, we see the correct filter logic applied (using ALL filters) but on their screen, the discrepancy is someone changed it to (ANY) filters. We know we didn't touch that filter logic when they said we did as we were on a team call discussing something.   Has this happened to anyone before where there is a discrepancy between what support says and what your logs see from the Admin Audit Trail?

Hi, I'd like to transit people to the stream according to the track that they clicked the most. The idea is to send 3 drip emails which we call the pre-stream emails. In each of these pre-stream emails, it contains 4 links (one for each track). Each of the tracks has a stream. Finally, after receiving all 3 pre stream emails, the lead will transit to the stream according to the track that he/she clicks the most.   However, if any of the tracks has a tie (same number of clicks as one or more tracks), then we should have a smart campaign that will prioritize the tracks and transit the people.   Here's a screenshot of the nurture. May I know what's the best way to do this?   Thanks so much!

Just wondering if anyone currently shares/links to Typeform from Marketo, and/or if there are any integration capabilities? Second question - if you do use Typeform, do you have issues when embedding code into guided landing pages? The quizzes don't present in full, in and optimised view.

Hi, We have an alert email go out to our sales reps when a lead clicks on a link within an email. The problem is, we hit some "email probes" that scan emails and click all links. So it's not actually the lead interacting with our email. Does anyone know a way to filter out these email probes from reporting and Smart Lists. For example, the smart list I created that triggers the flow to send an email to the sales rep...I use the trigger "clicks link in email." I'd love to set this so that it only considers if the lead clicked less than 3 links (the probes will click every single link in an email and most of our genuine leads do not). However, the constraints on the "clicks link in email" trigger only allows for minimum number of links clicked--the opposite of what we need. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Hi there,    Wondering what the best way to set up this nurture:  Week 1: First email  Week 2: First email again for people who didn't open the first time (with slightly different content) Week 2: Second email  Week 3: Second email again for people who didn't open the second email (with slightly different content)    and so and so forth for 10 weeks. This isn't how I would recommend content being sent out, but this is how it was decided.    Should I create a smart campaign with a bunch of wait steps and data value changes saying that if they didn't open x email then send the next? We are is there a better way to set this up? I can't use streams right? I still have them in an engagement program so I can change status to nurture.

Hi there, I'm new to the community but thought I'd reach out for some help.    I'm looking to understand if there are advantages to using Marketo's built-in Dynamic Content over using Velocity script in emails (outside of potentially ease of use when creating the emails).    For example, would reporting capabilities be any different if I make content dynamic using the built-in functionality instead of scripting?     Thank you!

Hi I need some help on a velocity script token I am trying to create to use in a text based email. Here's what I'm trying to do: My email is a notification that goes out after a customer fills out a form and the reason I'm going this route is because we're over the 40 token limit that you can include in an email. However not every form fill will have over 40 fields to display as some of those fields are conditional on the form. We have fields for up to 4 users. In the email I want the data that the user 2 has inputted in the form to display only if that field is not empty (if statement only needs to be on the User name since if this is empty the rest of the fields would be too). Some of the fields that they are filling out are Boolean fields (so they check them or leave them blank) and rather than my email having 1's and 0's I want the script to say Yes or No on that particular field and display what the name of the field is. We've been working to get our DKIM verified with Marketo but with no luck. I've confirmed the SPF record is set up correctly, and the DKIM can be verified as accurate through MXToolbox or other DKIM/Dmarc checker sites. However Marketo is still pending setup Marketo support has given instructions that all our servers need to have the DKIM key on them, but we have several internal servers that our IT/Security team has issues adding publicly accessible keys too. So my question...   If external checker sites confirm that our DKIM record is set up correctly, does Marketo's verification matter at all? Or are we able to just leave this as 'pending verification' forever?

Hi Everyone,   As we know, lots of dark mode email clients doesn't support all the colors some supports fully however some partially support.   Does anyone have any latest code for the dark mode clients or have any suggestions on the best code for the dark mode email clients as we struggle every time when we need to work on the dark mode projects, like how we choose the colors according to the email clients?   Any help would be very helpful!   Thanks! The $name variable works and displays as expected in all cases. The url doesn't work. But only doens't work for the dependent values, the fallback value always shows.   After some testing, I found that if I take the $url out of the href tag and paste them as seperate lines, it works just fine.
