Hi, Hope everyone is doing well. Has anyone came across a situation where they created Nested Nurture Programs inside Engagement Program and on the cast day, one of the Program ran like the first one in order but the second program did not run. I am trying to figure out as to what went wrong. I ran my cast at 2.p.m  However, I noticed that one Nested Nurture program ran but other did not run. Both are having batch campaigns inside the program & pretty much similar setup just with the difference of having different emails in Flow step.  I have attached screenshot of the setup. We often do not push a lead into a Salesforce campaign until they reach a scoring threshold but I have an issue where an existing lead in both of our Salesforce/Marketo instances was manually deleted out of Salesforce instance but NOT Marketo by one of my team members.  The lead later came back in through another Marketo based marketing campaign and Marketo went to "update" the record in Salesforce but the update failed because the Salesforce record no longer exists due to my previously mentioned "delete".  My question is how and where do I remove the Salesforce ID of the lead in their Marketo record OR is there a best practice way to get this lead back into Salesforce as a new lead? Hello all,   I wonder if I misunderstand something fundamentally about Marketo Custom Objects and I hope someone can help me think straight.   I want to bring information from the Salesforce User Object into a Marketo Custom Object. A Salesforce User has fields like First, Last, Email Address, and lots of additional information that could be helpful to build Account Owner signatures in Marketo emails, like a calendar link, a link to a user image, phone, complete address, job title and some more. That information is not available in Marketo through the native user integration. (Right?)   So let's assume we have 500 sales rep users in Salesforce that are Account Owners. The native integration syncs over the field "Account Owner Email Address" to Marketo persons which I think could function as the link field for the object.   Marketo Person: Account Owner Email Address == Salesforce User Object: Email Address   So if I brought the users into a custom object, I'd h

Hi All,  My team would like to send an email to around 1400 with a personalized link to register for an event. The link is unique to each person. Does anyone have any insights on this topic? Is it best to import the list with their name, emails and link? Are there any custom tokens that worked for others? In there a character count for personalized URLs in custom tokens? I was reading other articles it was recommended to be around 225. Thank you.

Hi all,   We had an agency build us a function into one of our Nurture Programs; either send an SMS (call webhook) or send email.   I cannot locate that program they built, or any discussion around doing this, does anyone have any insight into how:   - I can have a nested program trigger a webhook to send an SMS as first rpeference - Send an email to those who did not qualify for the SMS Webhook.   Thanks,   Lucas

When the lead fills out another form and is updated, can we run them through the auto-assignment rule again so they will be taken out of the initial queue and into a new queue in SFDC?   @grégoire_miche2  mind sharing the workaround in the above article?

Hi. How do I make my email performance report (which I created in the analytics tab) to show all the emails sent last month? When I compare the results (aka the list of emails) sent last month which are in the email performance report to the Marketing calendar, I am missing two emails. Why is that and how do I get the report to reflect what I see in the marketing calendar? What am I missing?Thanks, K NOTE - the emails were sent in last month. One was sent March 1st ~8am and the other March 22nd ~12pm.

So this is a complicated scenario, but I am wondering how it should work: A person fills out the form and gets sent an email. The rules on the campaign kick it to go thru a nurture stream:   Nurture stream rules (not actually nurture stream campaign style but using just campaign to do a drip at specific intervals for specific emails) All people sent from marketo campaign trigger people not on suppression list   Campaign flow: wait 2 days email 1 add to suppression list wait 3 days email 2 wait 4 days email 4 wait 51 days remove from suppression list Assuming they enter the flow would they be able to finish if they are added into the suppression list mid flow or are they immediately removed from it?

I had this idea to use in the email builder.  I was given a design where we have space between modules, and I built it into the module. The option to have a spacer module is ok but it's too time consuming, and for the most part, there will ALWAYS be a space. However, in a few rare cases they'd like to not have it. So I thought I'd do a boolean. It will be set to true as a default, but in the few cases they need to, they could control it and turn it off. But I read that booleans in email are not advisable.   What do you think in this specific case thought? Thanks

Hello! I am looking for best practices for the revenue cycle model... we are implementing this, and our sales cycle includes ALOT of stages. Before a lead becomes an opportunity, it must pass through six stages. Once it becomes an opportunity, it must go through seven more stages before it's a 'won opportunity'. For the revenue cycle model, would it best to list ALL stages between the lead and opportunity, or only the lead? Below is my current model (still in draft mode). I would appreciate any insight!    

 We are looking to delete records in our Marketo database to clean it up. We currently have our Marketo synced to Salesforce.   Questions:   If I use a smart campaign to delete records in Marketo but choose to keep them in our CRM (Salesforce), will these records re-sync over to Marketo after we delete them? Or would the only thing that would introduce them back into our Marketo database be activity on our resources from them after they are deleted? If I need to create criteria in Salesforce for these leads to not be re-synced over, how should I go about doing so? If we were to delete someone from our Marketo but they remain in our SFDC, what would cause them to resync with Marketo? Would it be activity in Marketo? Edits on their Salesforce record? Would it sync back automatically immediately after the initial deletion?

Has anyone worked on an integration between Marketo and Foleon? Do you know if we can use Zapier or if there is some other way to make this work? I am hoping to keep it relatively simple, but we would like to use some of Foleon's higher converting lead gen components, which would mean more than just gating the entry into the doc. If you have some experience with this, please let me know. Thank you!

Mytoken is used in the email content and sometime happens that Smart campaign qualifying the records but Mytoken with the empty value.   Thus, Email preview with the empty space.   Is there any way to check if the Mytoken value is empty, not sending the email to that record?

Hello,I've recently created my first engagement program, but I'm experiencing two issues. In my add to nurture step the contacts that should be affected are not showing up in the "results" tab or becoming "members" and they are not entering the stream aka not getting any of the emails I have setup. I feel like there is a trigger missing and it's not being solved with the case I have open with Marketo. Anyone have any ideas why? or has anyone else run into this issue?Thanks!Jeannine

We use embedded forms on our website.  One of the fields is an opt-in checkbox.  When checked, we have a flow step that also populates an "opt-in date" field. If the lead had opted in during a prior form submit, we want to hide that field.  The thought was to define a visibility rule on the opt-in field to only display if the hidden "opt-in date" value was empty.  This isn't working for us.  I'm assuming this is because there's no way for Marketo to prepopulate the hidden date field since this is an embedded form, correct?  I think what's needed are separate trigger campaigns that do all of this processing after the form has been submitted (e.g., "Data Value Changes" of the opt-in field from "false" to "true" AND if "opt-in date" is not empty, then reset "opt-in" to TRUE.

I'm now trying to figure out how to pass Q&A and poll responses back to Marketo after the webinar ends. I didn't see a field mapping process anywhere in the documentation or in any of the other discussions I've found.I thought maybe that's what the Marketo custom object was for (which includes fields for Q&A and poll), but then I read this: If you aren't going to use Zoom registration pages, and are also planning on just letting Zoom send the confirmation and reminder emails, then you don't need to create the custom object "ZoomWebinarOtherInfo" or any of the fields therein.So if I understand, since we're using our own page and not using Marketo confirmations and reminders, I don't need the custom object at all. I have a form that uses a field for marketing notes. It's not required, but there in case a person asks a question, etc.   Is there a way to prevent the date stamp from being added when nothing is added to the field upon submission?   An example landing page here.    It's the "Have a Question" field

Hi, I have created a LP(with form) in Marketo and want to use it on 1500 pages on external site(hosted on AEM), I would just give a Marketo live link to publisher team and they would use it to create snippet on AEM and ultimately that goes on 1500 different pages. I need to route the Alert email based on the URL that the form is submitted (All 1500 pages has different URLs), please guide me to handle this request in best possible way. My approach - I have created a form with hidden field to capture the source URL on which form is submitted and use it as choices in send alert flow step to route alert email to concerned person, Any inputs in setting up the smart campaign is appreciated.
