We are planning on creating a custom object in salesforce and sync over to Marketo to host our demo session data. There are multiple types of demos we host, and the CO will have "Demo Type" and "Demo Date" associated with leads and contacts. I mapped out the field usage and need some help on certain points.   So the "Demo Date" field needs to be available for Dynamic content in email: velocity script field on the web form from user input: can we use API name to push data like standard fields? filter for smart campagin/lists: is this possible? I read different answers on the forum Sync to SFDC for campaign reporting: custom report with campaign members and CO Is this a feasible solution for the use case? Love to hear if there are any other ways instead of creating a lot of custom fields.

We have our Marketo instance synced up with Salesforce, and our Marketo Launchpack rep had recommended that we do the majority of our deduping in Salesforce. Does the community recommend any particular deduping tools for Salesforce?

We have a form that we have custom CSS styling in place. This is our go-to form for cloning and previously we've never had any issues with the copies, it retains the CSS styling from the original. However recently, all of the cloned forms are looking very differently from the original.   We manually compared the form settings of the original and the clone and all are the same including the Custom CSS.   Can anyone advise? 

I am noticing that leads visiting the same pages within seconds are entering a flow where I am trying to identify individuals who visit multiple pages over time.  Does anyone have a way to filter these out, seem like it's probably bots clicking through?  Thanks

Hi All, Does marketo have a different release cycle for their sandbox vs production environment? Like SFDC do, you get to play with the features first in a sandbox before it is released to production. I couldn't find anything online.   Thank You!

Hi everyone,   Lately we are having some trouble with Sales Insight functionalities on Microsoft Dynamics.   We recently updated our Dynamics version from Online 2016 to Online 1710 (9.1.0.21048). After that, we still had the data showing in Sales Insight (Intersting moments...) but we could not confirm campaigns any longer from Dynamics (yet they were still visible).   We decided to updated our Sales Insight version and since that moment we are not seeing any data populating with Dynamics with our Marketo Sales Insight. Also, requested campaigns are not displayed at all when I click on "Add to Marketo campaign". We've checked the activity log in Marketo and the interesting moments, scoring, web visits are there.   The only exception is for the System Admin on Dynamics, he can see all of the data and can trigger campaigns. But we tried every role to see were the issue was coming and nothing worked.   Any idea were it could come from? Marketo support h

Hello Marketo Nation,   I am trying to implement custom progressive profiling in our forms. Here is the issue that i am facing and would like your suggestion to resolve it.   I am trying to get the unfilled fields by a known lead so that i can display those in the next return visit. I cannot use the lead tokens in the landing page as we cannot expose that information in the page. Is there any API to get the list of filled or unfilled field names without exposing the actual values?   i tried using the internal marketo API call ('/index.php/form/getKnownLead?_mkt_trk='+encodeURIComponent(munchkinCookie)+'&form=xxxx&munchkinId=xxx-xxx-xxx&filledFields=false';) but it is only giving Firstname, Lastname and not any other unfilled fields. In the filledFields list also it is not giving the list of filled fields properly. Whatever fields are filled in the first visit are not part of the filledFields list also.   Could you please suggest any possible solutions to

Hi All,   I am trying to create a smart list where I have a data value change filter that keys off the same date/time of a particular form fill.   So, for instance, let's say someone fills out Form X. That action causes a data value change in the system that makes Field Y = Snowcones.   I want to be able to create a smart list that shows me all the people that had a data-value change for Field Y = Snowcones based on filling out specifically Form X.   Thanks!

Hi Folks,   I am trying to create 3 buckets of leads based off their web inactivity.   When I look at the inactivity filter for Not Visited Webpage, the In Past Before" Operator is not available.     Here are the buckets I am trying to do: Not Visited Any Web Page in the past 30 - 60 Days Not Visited Any Web Page in the past 60 -  90 Days Not Visited Any Web Page in the Past 90 + Days Any suggestions?   Thanks,Randall

I've seen form styling come up a few times in the community and wanted to do my part to post some basic CSS that can be used as a starter to get your forms from zero-to-hero with a little copy/paste sauce. Out-of-the-box, Marketo forms "are responsive" but they leave a bit of room for improvement and my hope is to help close that gap a bit by putting together a basic CSS document as a starter and then putting it out to the community for feedback and review - together maybe we can come up with something new and shiny together  To get the party started...I've put together a very basic LP to host a Marketo form and the CSS code used to style that form. For starters, I've stuck to the basic fields. You can play along at home by grabbing the CSS at the bottom of the page and pasting it into the Custom CSS on a new form. You'll want to spin up a new form and add these field types to replicate the example linked below. You'll also want to change the form's theme (pg2) to the "Plain" (7 of 7)

Hi all. Is there any way of manually importing data, but making it seem to Marketo as if it were a FB lead ad form fill.     The background is that I've discovered an agency misconfigured a FB page, so the leads haven't been coming into Marketo.  I need to load them manually, but all the things that trigger from a FB lead ad need to occur as well.   I'm reasonably comfortable loading them through the API rather than the UI if that helps.   Cheers Jo

Has anyone had issues with hackers getting a hold of a landing page form and signing hundreds of people up (with real email addresses)? How do you prevent this from happening? 

We have one 'lead' that has been spamming our customer team by filling out multiple different forms on our website each day with the same message. This has been an ongoing occurrence (for a couple years), and the message is not relevant to our business.   We have tried reaching out to this person multiple times in the past to point them to the correct business that could help with their enquiry, but this person continues to spam us.   I have been asked by our customer team if there is a way I can stop this person from filling out our forms, or the internal alerts that come with this. I am wondering if it is possible to: a) block this person from filling out any of our forms b) allow him to fill out the forms but stop all internal alerts to our customer team when this person fills any of the forms (we have 10 different forms on our website) c) any other ideas on how to deal with this   Thought and ideas welcomed!

As title says.When I try to add an email script token the script editor the tree on the right just contains a list of items labeled "Standard Objects" that keeps growing as I try to (unsuccessfully) add script tokens.Here's what my editor looks like. Note the growing list of "Standard Objects" on the right, none of which are trees that allow me to drag tokens into the script editor window:If I look in the Console (Chrome 67, latest) I see the following errors when I drag an email script token to the page: I have no ad blockers installed in this profile.Anyone else seen this or know what's causing it?

Looking for help on how to automatically pull GoToWebinar simulive webinar attendees from Zapier into Marketo (since the current GTW/Marketo integration only works for live events). I already set it up for pushing from Marketo --> Zapier --> GoToWebinar via webhook and I saw there are a lot of community posts on this, but now I'm trying to do the reverse and pull attendees back into Marketo after the webinar has ended and I haven't been able to find any articles for this. Hello,   Each morning at 10am ET we send out an email that includes our daily rate. We're looking to automate this process so the actual rate would pull from our website and be inputted into the email. At that point, we could set it up so that the same email would deploy everyday once that rate had been updated. What's the best way to go about this? Should I create a new field that is updated by a webhook every day, or is an RSS feed a better bet? I've looked through discussions regarding both but am unable to figure out what would be best since the content we are looking to add to the email is a single rate and one other datapoint, not an entire blog feed.   Thank you, Sheila

Hi everyone,   I am trying a create a smart list using the field "Notes" in which I have stored the different type of newsletter I have. When creating the smart list, I can't have this field "Notes" displayed. Any idea ? How could I move all the information in Notes to another field witout using smart list? Many thanks for your help. If there a function available to detect when say a new conditional select element or input has been added to a form? I am using the functions found here to strip all styles from the form but these dont apply to conditional elements added later. I also have some javascript on the form to add a class to the mktoFieldWrap of each element so i can target the labels by say label for checkbox vs label for input. These classes get added when form is ready, but not to the conditional conset checkboxes that appear after selecting values from select elements.   Another option would be to not use the <div class="mktoPlaceholder mktoPlaceholderconsenttoProcessing"></div> and instead just have the elements already inserted into the form, but I couldnt find any options for this?   Thank you in advance for any help!     <form id="mktoForm_4312" class="dk-nobg-btm-2col center-form"></form> <script> MktoForms2.loa

Is there a way to specify location of a form on a guided landing page based on device, so that if a user were viewing the page on mobile, the form would be at the top?  Currently the form is displaying on the bottom in mobile.
