Marketo

We are migrating to Marketo but keeping our CMS in Hubspot. Is there an easy way to embed Marketo forms onto Hubspot landing pages?   I've explored options using the "Footer HTML" in Advanced Settings of Hubspot, but if anyone has any other ideas, would be appreciated 🙂

I have webinars which use a 2 landing page/2 form registration process.    Form 1 is just an email address Form 2 contains 4 additional fields   Yes I know there's JS to do this on a single LP but we have 2 different styled LPs for this 2-step process so here we are.    On Form 2, email field is hidden with prefill turned on. So far this is working fine, BUT there's a problem when someone clicks through the email invite which has been forwarded to them.    In Form 1 they enter THEIR email address, but somehow when they get to Form 2, the hidden "email" field gets populated with the original recipient's email address. What ends up happening is this new recipient is now updating the original recipient's information with their own.    Is there a way to pass the new email entered in FORM 1 to the hidden field in FORM 2? 

We have the following: - Our CRM is synced with Marketo - Only 20% of the contacts are cookied   We will distribute a personalized printed magazine, and all articles will link to a ‘digital version of the same magazine’ ( which will be hosted on Marketo ) ( we use a complex printing technique to print a deeply personalized magazine for everybody, custom text, custom images,… )   Every single link in the printed Magazine will be personalized . We have the option to include the marketo-id in the link ( the CRM holds the marketo-id, and the printed version is created from the CRM )   Is there a way the place a Marketo cookie ( if not existing ) on page load (digital magazine), I mean, Is it an option to get the contacts data (on page load ) via an API call based on the contacts Marketo Id (contained in the personalized url), prefill a hidden form, submit that form (by code), and continue to the first page of the digital magazine, so that the digital version can be personali

hello we have, somewhat customized marketo forms that we use via the javascript api.   now the code stopped working in local dev environment, I suspect it is related to this call:   in written words: getForm?munchkinId=MYID&... returns 403 forbidden   basically I am getting a 403 and MktoForms2.whenReady never triggers     MktoForms2.allForms() returns []   this didn't use to be like that. This used to work.   Obviously, for local development, I use a virtual host e.g. mylocaldev.local       it still works in production, and it still works in staging as well where we use a subdomain of production   maybe I got black listed because I was "spamming" marketo with my local testing?    

Please find the Job Status below. Even if the status is 'Complete' , it is still not reflecting in marketo and Salesforce. Is there any way to track the changes? We have Marketo engage, the request is to increase a score as people move down the page. I have a feeling this may need GA.  Can anyone give any suggestions so, we can use that. perhaps a GA goal and then that might be used to trigger an increase in score. I am sorry I am not a GA expert. Perhaps we could use a time on site element as well Any suggestions or solutions, systems would be be very much useful!

Hi, I'm trying to test creating a task in Salesforce from Marketo, and when I run the campaign, I get no results even though my schedule tab says there is one person qualified to run through the campaign:Below are screenshots of my set up (sent by is not empty, I've just erased the name from the screenshot):(Owner is not empty, I've just erased it from the Screenshot)I realize this particular person is blocked from emails as indicated below, but since this campaign doesn't involve sending an email, that shouldn't matter because they still qualify for the campaign, right? I also tried this with another lead who was not blocked and had the same issue.Each time I select Run Once, and Run Now, my results tab stays empty.Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, We are currently working on a product which uses Marketo APIs to GET or POST data (e.g. Leads). As part of the product performance testing we run endurance tests which need to run for at least 3 hours. But we are currently unable to run these tests due to the Marketo daily request limit of 10000 requests. We hit this limit with in first 35-40 mins and cannot proceed with the test.  Also observed that the API access per instance is limited to 100 calls per 20 seconds. Is there a way to increase these limits? E.g. the daily request limit to 100K and the API access per instance to 1000 per 20 seconds (or a equivalent limit).

Morning all, has anyone else noticed that making a change to a webhook does not update it immediately?    I've had several instances where I've updated the payload and/or the URL for a webhook, and then gone to a test record and done a campaign request for the campaign where I have a call to the webhook in question siting.   it is quite clear that the URL and Payload haven't been updated (just go to the campaign and look in the results).   This seems a terrible flaw.   Thoughts?   Regards Jo

Hi there,    So I have a question for the greater collective. If I have my Webinar channel tags set up like:  10 - Invited 20 - Waitlisted  30 - Registered  40 - No Show 50 - Attended 60 - Attended On-demand   Now, if I wanted to add 4 new statuses will that shift any of the historical data? I have like 150 programs that use this channel tag and I don't want to break any historical statuses / reporting. The proposed new statuses are below in red:    10 - Invited 20 - Waitlisted  30 - Registered  35 - Registered Paid 40 - No Show 45 - No Show Paid 50 - Attended 55 - Attended Paid 60 - Attended On-demand 65 - Attended On-demand Paid

While data cleanup process, our team focus is to remove the data whom we have not target in last 2 years.  And as per https://nation.marketo.com/t5/Knowledgebase/Marketo-Activities-Data-Retention-Policy-Overview-FAQ/ta-p/250750 data retention policy we came to know that it deletes activity after 25 months for Email send.   Problem- In lead activity, we still see email send details in 2016. We found this when setup the filter "Not was sent email" is any. How can I justify this activity in Marketo?

I'm currently in the process of building a nurture program with multiple streams. A lead will qualify for the engagement program and will enter one of the four streams once they have been added to a particular Salesforce campaign by one of our marketing representatives.    In our other nurture programs, once someone is added to a stream, the cadence is set to send them the first email in the stream the next day.  However, for this new engagement program, we want to send the first email in the stream the same day the lead is added.     I was planning to set up a trigger campaign in the first email program that says if you were Added to Engagement Program and your stream is "X" then send "Email #1"of "X" stream. They would then go into a status change campaign that would pause them, wait 30 days, then change them back to normal so that they would then get the next email in the stream. FYI - the 2nd and 3rd emails in the stream do not need to be triggered and

Hello All,   I'm just checking to see if someone has experienced not able to pull historical data thru a smart list? We are trying to pull our data for our reporting and was stunned to see that our smart list didn't return any records. Criteria used was just "Was Sent Email" then put all emails sent for a quarter.   We checked on a campaign level (1 campaign only) and the records were there so we know that the data was not deleted in the system.   Anyone?   Thank you in advance.

Hello, I'm trying to put in a button alignment option in an email template but I'm having issues on Outlook. In my EOA tests, the button seems to align fine when I select left or center, but if I select right, it works on Outlook 2003, 2011, and 2016, but all other versions it's on the left. Currently I am working on new email templates. Since it is best practice to include a 'view as webpage' link, we will finally start using this within the new templates. But now I have a problem with this. Once a lead is created, fields like 'business unit address', 'social media links', 'contact page' and 'unsubscribe page' are filled with HTML so they fit with the email template. Every lead gets different links to different pages depending on their country and language. Within the email template we use tokens to populate the right business unit address, social media links, contact page and unsubscribe page. This all works when testing and sending emails. The HTML is transferred into the icons etc But.. We include a 'view as webpage' link in the email. If you open this webpage, you will see the actual HTML and not the icons etc.. Any solution for this? Thanks
