Hi all,   I'm trying to set a custom object to an email that is within an opportunity item so that I can use that newly set custom object to send a notification email via the flow step. This is because we send an email to a client with opportunity-specific info, and then we want to alert the sales rep of that email, but for other reasons, not all sales reps are on the lead level, so I need to surface them.   I've created a token that I've placed within the email that goes out to the client, and the referenced items are checked on the right, however, the values don't update.    #set( ${OpportunityList.get(0).SalesRepEmail__c} = ${lead.CustomObjectEmail})   Any thoughts? 

The image on the left you can see that 98 people clicked through on the email. But then my Email Link Performance Report is stating that 376 people clicked through on the email? Why is this the case?

Hi,I'm working on few emails and came across a weird issue-When copy-pasting a UTM into marketo, it adds "amp;" to the UTM.For example, the following UTM:www.google.co.il?&utm_source=marketo&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=testWill be converted into this one:www.google.co.il?&utm_source=marketo&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=testI tried using the "HTML source editor" and the "insert/edit link" button, both didn't work.Can you please tell how/if it affects the UTM?Thanks,Roy

I am trying to figure out the best approach to setting up a welcome program that will enter newly created account leads into a nurture campaign that will trigger off of a lead being added to a SFDC campaign, and will send the first email in the stream immediately, and following emails will come at 1 or 2 week intervals.  I am new to engagement streams in Marketo, but from what I've researched and tested so far, it doesn't seem like an engagement program would be the best approach because I want these leads to be hit with this first welcome email immediately, and engagement streams seem to be very limited to the set days/times for the cadence. The leads would also be continually added to the program 24/7, and to me engagement streams seem to be set up for more static audiences with less flexibility on when emails send while still maintaining appropriate wait steps between them.  Would a single smart campaign with built in wait steps be a better approach? Hi there,  Would anyone please be able to help me wrap my head around the set up of Nested email programs within default program? The goal: product promotion with drip emails on specific days, not reoccurring. Each email has an A/B test subject line. The Main Program syncs and updates statuses in a Salesforce campaign, like Open, Clicked, Visited landing page, Filled in the form. I'm using Email programs to have analytics for every email, however in Salesforce I want to know the overall success of the Main program, not individual emails.  Questions: 1. At what point and how I make the audience of Test Email 1, Members of the Main Program? 2. Should each nested email program have smart campaigns to sync appropriate status to SF and update the member status of the Main campaign? 3. Can I have smart campaigns that update statuses for the Main campaign based on the performance of individual emails, outside of nested programs? (like shown on the image)   4. Is there anythin

hi all, amateur hour over here, but, it's hindering my progress & i cant find anything in forums or docs.   I'm adding a full width image to my email build (i want to use this as a header) - but everytime i add m image, click swap - it adds padding to both sides f the image & i cant switch it off. is this to do with my email template used perhaps? on another email i've tested it (using same template - i think), and it fills te full width of the email as i'd expect.i dont want to clone this & start over as the mjority of the email is done, just the header image isnt right. really simple thing but its stopped me in my tracks.im not technical & don't want to get involved with code or anything.   any help appreciated   thanks in advance, noob

On the flow I have 6 change data value steps. They all worked until I had to change the API names for 3 of them. I'm aware that changing API names in SFDC results in new fields in Marketo, I went ahead and updated the form and the flow to reference the new fields.   However, the flow simply skips over the steps that reference the new fields. It'll sync values back to salesforce for the first 3 fields that I didn't change, but not the 3 I changed.   There is no sync error. Those specific fields also sync back to SFDC when I update values directly on the lead page. But something is wrong about the flow that doesn't update those fields in SFDC.    I've tried removing those steps and adding them back, still doesn't work.   Those 3 problem fields are supposed to be pulling Market token values. Maybe it has something to do with the tokens. But the tokens worked before I changed the field names. I checked the new token name over and over, it is correct, it's just not

Hello, Marketo trigger campaign is set up such that anyone who fills out a specific form is considered Registered, which syncs to Salesforce. We had 100% attendance. So now we want to update the status from Registered to Attended.  What is the best way to set up the smart list and flow steps to attain this?  How to go about this so that the status also syncs to Salesforce? The current program setup looks like this: Trigger smart list: Flow step: Salesforce campaign members status = Registered.  Thank you!!          

For some unfathomable reason it seems since the 48th week of 2021 we are getting a _mkto_trk_http cookie instead of a _mkto_trk . O other cookies do not have a _http postfix. Both client and server side shows this consistently. I am nonplussed. Did anyone else see the same? Is this a setting in Marketo maybe ? 

Hi, I am setting up my first nurture campaign and hoping to have an extra pair of eyes review that everything looks to be set up correctly for what I am trying to accomplish.   We are using one stream with four email assets that we want to deploy one at a time starting tomorrow and with email 2 to go out in three weeks, then email 3 in three weeks, etc. shown below   My smart campaign to enter the stream is shown below smart list   Flow   Schedule   I have a trigger set up for anyone that enters the candidate community once the nurture program is running too.  Am I missing anything on my trigger set up? I assume for anyone that joins, they will qualify for the smart campaign "Enter Employer Brand Stream" and start with email 1 on the day I have listed for cadence?      

Hi Marketers,   In the control panel of my email program it shows that my email campaign was triggered on the schedule time but when I go to dashboard it shows everything as 0. However, in the control pannel the 'Result' shows open, click etc ...  Note: The dash boards are working fine on the past email campaigns. Post this issue I have run one more email campaign and again the dashboard reflects 0 but result shows open, click etc .... Any idea whats going on? and what should I do?

However, Livestorm does not have a native integration with Marketo. We have two options: use the API or use Zappier.Has anyone already done this integration with Zappier or with API and if so what are the main steps to implement.Thanks in advance for your answers.

Hello!   I tried to look everywhere on the Marketo boards but am not seeing step by step documentation when it comes to making a Marketo webform AND then setting up an SMS campaign. Are there any tips/help you can provide to help set this up? I've made a Marketo Webform, i've also created my SMS message, but wondering about the smart list and the flow? Yes, VIBES is already connected to our Marketo instance and we have about 5 lists already done with them.   Any help is appreciated!

How can i add start date in SFDC campaigns in Marketo? In salesfore campaign report Start Date is showing as blank & status is showing as Planning.Any help from experts is very helpful.

We currently have 22k duplicates in our account. We know our API integration is using a combination of the EmailAddress and another field the Centric User Id to know if the contact is unique. Now, when we manually import a list, it creates duplicates if there is no column for centric user id. Does the API dedupe rule apply also for the list import ?   Can you also tell us more about a way to merge these records, but not manually ?

Hi All,   As per the API documentation (https://developers.marketo.com/rest-api/lead-database/opportunities/#query_fields_browse) we can query the opportunity using searchable or ID field parameter, but in the opportunity tab UI level marktoGUID & externalOpportunityId are not there then how do we get/query the opportunity related information based on either contact or lead ID?   Thanks, Chandan

This should be easy for someone to answer. I need a little clarity. We have a simple smart campaign (email blast) An audience ran through the campaign already and another audience will be loaded into the static list in February. The January audience received a single Welcome email.   Now we've been asked to add a second email to the flow, and send it to the January audience and everyone who enters the campaign thereafter. We believe we need to create a smart campaign that sends the 2nd email to everyone who already got the first email - just non-openers actually. As February rolls around we'll have a new list of people added to our static list; they'll run through the campaign. Before that, though, the plan is to add a new wait step then a send email step that sends the 2nd email to non-openers of the first email. We want just the February people to run through this. We don't want the January folks to get that Reminder email again. How would you go about this to ensure no problems
