Hello! Does anyone integrate Marketo with Veeva and leverage Veeva Timeline, similar to the Sales Insight platform that  is in Salesforce.  If so, what are you providing to sales?  How is it rendering in timeline? Thanks in advance! Kelly

We have a form with a "interests" field that is being shown as checkboxes. We'd like to be able to use a link to the page with a query parameter that would automatically check one of the boxes on the form based on the value of the query parameter. This would happen when the page/form is first displayed.   Here's the page with the "interests" field: https://discover.semi.org/technology-communities-subscription-registration.html Usage example would be, if there is an email talking about cyber security (or a web page)  then there could be a link to the above subscription page and the "cyber security" checkbox would automatically be checked.    Is there a way to do this with Javascript? Hi.  What are your thoughts on stopping a batch smart campaign? Is better to abort or to cancel? If to cancel, could someone snapshot where and how to do it? After aborting or cancelling, what do you do next with the people who are still in the flow of the campaign?   Thanks for your help!

Hi team,   I have a question about the 'Random Sample' feature in the flow step. I've looked in other topics and they solution looked different to what I was looking for (sorry if looked in the wrong place). Basically we want to send a Survey for a % of our database. This is not an A/B Test.   I have a database of 10,000 people and we would like to send an email with a survey link for only 30% of this database. I would like to avoid having to do it manually. We just need to send the email and nothing else.   I know I can add 'Random Sample IS 30'. Is this the best way to select a percentage of your audience to receive a basic email? Is there a better way to do it? Thank you all!

Since the May 15th patch the following issues are ongoing in our instances.    1. Failed custom integration sync that was preventing 32,000 leads that were deleted in Marketo, but no in SalesForce. The custom integration sync stop working morning of May 16th and all 32,000 leads have been recreated in Marketo.  2. When leads / contacts sync between Marketo and SalesForce, the Marketing user in SFDC tied to Marketo is clearing a number of SFDC custom fields including opt out fields, contact status, and the custom integration sync field from being populated to null / blank. 3. Campaign failure alerts around the clock.    I have submitted tickets to support, but the responses have been slow, been given canned responses, and no resolution.  I have been a Marketo Admin for 8 years+ now and have never experienced such problems. I am losing faith, help! 

Question that may end up being a feature request:    I want to be able to change the default From name and email address to the company name so we don't accidentally send out emails under our own names. As an admin, I was able to do this for myself - but that only affects emails that I set up.    Is there a way for a non-admin Marketing User or Standard User to set the default From name and address to something else, or a way for an admin to do it for them?  

We are having an issue right now with the incorrect title displaying on our LinkedIn post when we post the link to our landing page. The title of this seminar is: "Utilizing Rheology and Tribo-Rheology for Development, Characterization....." but it is displaying as "Upgrade your AR Series Rheometer...". For other context that may be helpful we do not use tokens for the title, the meta data was empty for the page until I put in the appropriate title, and the incorrect title showing on LinkedIn is an element that just has an <h1> tag in it for page titles. I initially hid that element because we don't use it for these pages, but when I saw the issue I went ahead and input the title in there and tried both hiding and showing the element with no luck of it changing the incorrect title. 

I've read a number of tokenizing articles but couldn't find the answer to this question. I'd like to tokenize the URL for links within emails but have the flexibility of showing different link text. I therefore don't want to tokenize the link text and the URL - I only want to tokenize the URL. How do I do this?

Hi all - I've read numerous posts and materials found here in the Community and such on Wait steps and I'm more and more confused.    Desired action: Upon a form fill, wait 48 hours - skipping Sat. & Sun - to send follow-up email.  We only want the follow-up email to be sent M-F.  Fill out form... Mon., receive follow up on Wed. Wed., receive follow up on Fri. Fri., receive follow up on Mon.    To test, from what I found and have read, I set up the wait step as (Only used 24 hours in test to get moving.) Wait - Until: "24 hours and wait must end Mon-Fri at 3:00 PM EDT" My test, entered the flow on May 19 (Wed.) at 6:21pm. I did not receive the follow-up email on May 20 (Thurs.), and as of May 21 (Fri.) @ 1:29pm I still have not received the follow-up email. SHOULD my Wait - Until: be set up as "24 hours and wait must end on Fri at 3:00 PM EDT" vs "Mon - Fri?"    THANK YOU! e  

The requirement: Show content in email based on a particular segment the user belongs to BUT using a velocity script.   We can see all kinds of fields associated with leads in the Objects dropdown right panel but segments that the leads/users belong to don't show in the list. Note: The requirement is to have velocity script to populate the dynamic content. The script token is already in use to populate the user's data in the emails based on his/her field values. We want to utilize the same script. We're tying to solve a problem where we don't have to convert every email into dynamic using segments alone. We believe using one velocity script will do the same job for all the emails under program.   Has anybody tried this? Is it even possible in Marketo?

Hi    I like to check if anyone in the community had any success in implementing the "form in an email" feature?. I was of this workflow  1.Passing the values in the URL to the "Thank You page" via the "GET" method. 2.Once we have the values on the Thank You Page URL, then we can get the values stored/transferred to the desired database.   Will be interested to know if this is the correct approach or is there a better process to test this interactive form in an email feature?.   Thank you & appreciate your input here.

  Hi all and @ SanfordWhiteman We are trying to come up with Velocity Script to display field data from an Custom Object when certain criteria are met. I have it working when there is just one qualifying product but when a person has 2 or more qualifying products, the script does not complete and when I preview the email it give a Communication Failure error as you can see above.  1- User qualifies for a renewal for 1 product-mostly it will show no errors 2- User qualifies for more than 1 product - above errors will show - can't it be because the database it needs to check it is huge? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue in Marketo or if this is an end-user issue related to resolution?  We think it is related to resolution within Outlook but not positive. Any suggestions would be appreciated! 

We sometimes purchase vanity URLs to some of our MKTO landing pages, and they have worked fine in the past, but we ran into an issue with our latest iteration which is using a mobile optimized landing page template. When the redirect occurs it displays the desktop version of the page on mobile devices, instead of the mobile version. This does not occur when going directly to the MKTO landing page URL, just when accessing the page via the redirect. We've reached out to the registrar and they said that it isn't something that they can help with. Does anyone know why this might be occurring/how to resolve it?  Chris

Hi, when should I use "Web Page" and when should I use the "Referrer" Constraint?

We usually use Kentico for our landing pages, we only create Marketo landing pages for individual campaigns. Visits to a Kentico landing page are easily recognized under the Web Activites at profile level.   But if I select “Visited Web Page” in a smart list, I don't get any results for Kentico landing pages.   Why is that and how can we change that? Or maybe I need a different filter?

Hi all,   I was using lots of JS in my Marketo forms but after the UI update, I am seeing that all JS in Marketo forms has been disappeared. I cannot use JS anymore in Marketo forms. Does anyone has seen the same issue? Any idea?

Hello,    We are currently looking to see if there is a way to add a Sales Transaction table into our database. Similar to how there is an Activity Log table on every record, we would like to create a Transaction table that would log all online purchases in an itemized way with date and transaction info.    Has anybody done this within Marketo in the past and know how to go about this?    Let me know,    Thanks!
