Description - Tracking changes to the name and status of the projects that present what the changes was (old to new) and when it happened. Why is this feature important to you - Executives need reports on changes that happened to the project status, for example, how projects changed status during the past month, and from what status to what status. The purpose is to report changes that happened within the portfolio since last portfolio meeting: for example, how many projects went in progress, on hold, completed, etc., during the past 2-3 months. How would you like the feature to work - I would like to be able to track changes to the name , status, and some other attributes of the projects that are captured in custom fields. Journal entry field allows some of the tracking but it is not for all and not intuitive. Also, journal entry fields cannot be accessed through custom forms if I try to create custom fields based on them. Current Behaviour - Journal entry fi
Due to the new timesheet UI, columns widths do not always fit ideally to the column content. As an example, the column width for Hour Type is fixed, but our hour types are of quite long names like "Remote working time - billable". As an consequence the hour type is not always completely visible and users use the wrong one due to missing information. Ideally the timesheet columns are dynamically adjustable by the user similar to other lists in Workfront (e.g. tasks, projects, etc.)
Description - In the Workfront mobile app, currently it is not possible to click on custom hyperlinks that have been created by users to allow them to open a new page and open the link in a new tab. When looking at the same item in the Workfront desktop view, the custom hyperlink is clickable and will open a new tab in the browser. On the app, the word 'link' simply appears but is not clickable and does not appear as a hyperlink Why is this feature important to you - Users would like to be able to access custom hyperlinks on the mobile app. Users advise this is basic functionality and without it, it does not entice staff to make use of the mobile app. How would you like the feature to work - The custom hyperlink should be saved as a clickable HTML link that will open a new tab to the hyperlink when clicked Custom hyperlink example: https://www.figma.com/proto/y6WcwPgnOp48koUHFlwVVe/Ford?page-id=2147%3A86&type=design&node-id=2147-2291&viewport=1694%2C-344
I understand that changing the timezone impacts how things are displayed. The issue is that the user marked 3 work days of PTO this week, and asked me to shift tasks off of those days. When I went to the Workload Balancer, it was not showing me that the user had taken three work days off PTO it only shows two. Then when you go to the users PTO page, it shows five. How am I supposed to capacity plan when im seeing three different values for a user’s PTO? Is the expected behavior that anyone doing resource balancing has to change the time zone of their laptop in order to see accurate data? When you're trying to manage the workload for dozens of resources, flipping timezones on your computer to 'check if anyone in india selected PTOs' on a daily basis IS RIDICULOUS. I'm okay with the display being slightly off b/c of the time difference. BUT THIS is actually missing to display accurately. I should see 3 days worth of PTO in the workload balancer, no
Description - allow System Administrators to change task statuses implicitly without restrictions based on the project's statusWhy is this feature important to you - as a System Administrator, cleanup is part of my every day job. While one could wish for users who mark their tasks as Cancelled before updating the project to Cancelled, this isn't always realistic. It would be great if I could just use a report of all tasks in New or In Progress status that are in a project of Cancelled and update them all in a couple of clicks. How would you like the feature to work - when a System Administrator is attempting to update the status of a task in a Cancelled project, either allow this change to happen without issue, or show a pop-up window first asking the user if this is what they'd like to do (for example, "A task's status cannot be modified for a project with a status of Cancelled. As a System Administrator, you can override this. Do you wish to proceed?" - this is similar to pop-ups in S
For projects where we bill the customer based on time and materials, our users usually setup custom billing rates for each job role within their projects. It works properly for task hours, but it doesn't work for issue hours or project hours. Our users often record a lot of hours in issues, and this results in creating incorrect billing records. This request is to make it possible to apply those custom job role billing rates for all hours within the project, not just tasks. Here is the documentation for the current behavior:https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/manage-work/projects/project-finances/override-role-billing-rates-and-calculate-project-revenue
Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary: We create a new page under /content/soucedcode/language-masters/en called home . Within this page, we will drag in an Experience Fragment Component with the XFPath. In this scenario, we have XFPath = /content/soucedcode/experience-fragments/language-masters/en/button/masterWhen we language or live copy pages, the XFPaths should be updated as expected, but it is not. Now let's continue with the scenario. Please note that we have the entire structure of the XF created - /content/soucedcode/experience-fragments/language-masters/en/button/master - /content/soucedcode/experience-fragments/language-masters/fr/button/master- /content/soucedcode/experience-fragments/language-masters/es/button/master - /content/soucedcode/experience-fragments/ca/en/button/master - /content/soucedcode/experience-fragments/ca/fr/button/master- /content/soucedcode/experience-fragments/us/es/button/masterNow after when the new page is created in la
It would be helpful if "pinned" projects/tasks could appear at the top if timesheet or there could be any sort of views, groupings, or filters added.
Currently, all feeds must be created through the UI. It takes a lot of man hours to create and validate a new feed. It would be a nice for Adobe to expose an API which we can manage our data feeds programmatically and automatically. Thanks
Description - Data Sets in AEP (expecially Prod sandbox) are extremely important assets. There should be a rigid process on its deletion, just like Report Suite in AA.Why is this feature important to you - I think no one wants to have its Data Set in Prod sandbox to be deleted easily. How would you like the feature to work - The deletion should involve Adobe tech support, as the final gate keeper.Current Behaviour - With the proper permission, admin can just delete Data Sets easily. Thanks.John
Certain types of requests (queue topics in some cases) require a document to be included in the request to pass initial assessment in traffic before being approved. The ability to force an attachment of some sort would stop the requester from submitting the request (like you do with required fields) without the attachment and save back and forth time for the request to be approved to begin work or be assigned out to a team.
The "Action Needed" daily digest email shows both already-completed actions and outstanding actions. It does not, however, state which action is what type (open or completed). The problem is that the wording - "Action Needed" - leads users to think that it won't include actions that have been already been completed, when in fact these are readily included in the digest. Please can this be fixed!
It would be a great addition to charts to have the ability to sort the Y axis groupings by ascending or descending order. Example: Currently, if we have a project report, grouped by program, with a bar chart showing Actual Costs, it will display the chart in alphabetical order of the program name. We should have the ability to sort the Actual Costs in Ascending or Descending order in charts, displaying the most expensive programs at the top and vice versa.
I saw that someone had this suggestion for Updates (which is great), but I would love to be able to edit the style of text in tasks, issues, project details and custom forms too. It would really help to break up big blocks of instructions and call attention to particularly important information. Caps and punctuation only go so far.
Specifically needed in agile but would be useful for all description fields
Description - When users copy tasks from an old project with assignments, if they don't choose to carry over the old projects permissions the task in the new project does not give any permissions at all. I would have expected this task to take on the task permissions set on the new project but WF support says this is not the intended behavior. Why is this feature important to you - Our PMs often copy sections of tasks from previous projects to save time, but they do not realize that the new task doesn't give any permissions. When the task assignees try to interact with the task they are met with no access errors. How would you like the feature to work - I would like any task copied from one project (if permission is not selected to copy with it) to take on the task permission set on the new project.Current Behaviour - Currently the task copies over but no permissions are given to the assignees for the task or project
Description - A Project owner gets a notification when a new document is added to their project. Apparently this type of notification does not exist when that document get a new VERSION added. This mean that the Project Owner needs to rely on the person adding the new Version to make a comment in th eupdates feed or some other manual communication to the them so they can stay updated on the activity. It would be nice if the Project owner could have the option to get notifications upon upload of a new Version as well. Why is this feature important to you - Important for communication to keep the flow of work moving. How would you like the feature to work - Just like the notificaiton for new documents being added to a project.Current Behaviour - There is no current behavior.
Description - I like the enhancement where we can now include native fields on the custom form. I would like to see the subject field be available as well. Why is this feature important to you - At my organization, users submit a request to activate their campaigns. Those requests are automatically converted to projects through Fusion. We actually would like the Subject field removed, but since that is not possible we would like to be able to use the subject field as the Program Name or Project Name. We also have a field on our custom form that asks you for your Program Name or Project Name, so it can be redundant to have both fields, so if the user enters their Program Name or Project Name in the subject field, it would be nice to have that automatically applied to our custom field. How would you like the feature to work - Similar to how the description field now works, where whatever the user types in the description field is also available in custom
Description - I'd like the ability to sort my to-do list so I can stack my priority for the day. I'd still like the ability to sort by date if I have a date for a to-do ite. Also, it'd be nice to add notes to a to-do so I don't have to try and jam all the context into the title. Why is this feature important to you - I was a heavy user of "My Priority" in old home and haven't found anything that works as well. This might help, but it also seems like pretty easy functionality that most other to-do applicants have. How would you like the feature to work -Current Behaviour - To-do widget items aren't sortable. They're just in the order you enter them.
The ability to rearrange/reorganize my favorites would be nice. Currently, I would have to remove the favorite and then re-favorite it in order to get it to move up on the favorites list.
Description - Ability to segment data to show only top 10 results (e.g. top 10 projects by planned cost)Why is this feature important to you - This view/feature helps better analyze portfolio performance at a macro levelCurrent Behavior - Feature unavailable
Have the "Sum of Sales Squared" available in A4T, since it is not available in Target when using A4T or have it still available for download from Target even if we use A4T. The download option isn't available from target when using A4T. I'd like to estimate the time to significance easier for revenue in Adobe Target Sample Size Calculator
Description - Currently Workfront Goals does not include the description of a goal as a field you can use in reports or as a field that you can access over the API. Please include this, it seems a little silly that this field is not even part of the reporting system in Workfront. Why is this feature important to you - the description contains import data that should be available for reporting to any client, especially in the case of Goals were we not allowed to create custom columns. This column/field default to Goals is used to capture unique data about the goal that we would like to see in reports. IF it's not possible, this should be at least be available over the Goals API. How would you like the feature to work - as a column that is selected in the Goals Report and/or as a field that is accessible in the Goals API. Current behavior - Not available as a field you can add to a Goals Report. Not available as field accessible over the Goals API. &
Description - Ability to change proof viewer background colorWhy is this feature important to you - ability to view pdfs with black backgrounds/bordersHow would you like the feature to work - An additional setting within the settings are in proof viewer?Current Behaviour - with background being black it it difficult to preview pdf final proof edges as designed by artist/art director etc
Description - Scheduled Report attachment (html) that is sent via email does not show links as links in the report but it shows links as plain text. Why is this feature important to you - The attachment report in the email should show the data fields in the same format as the report shows it in Workfront. How would you like the feature to work - I would like links that are created by value expression in the reports show as links when the report is sent via email as attachment. Current Behaviour - Scheduled Report attachment (html) that is sent via email does not show links as links in the report but it shows links as plain text.
