I would assume a lot of implementation specialists are setting up tracking for error in some way in Adobe Analytics, so I figured that I would ask if anyone out there in the Adobe Analytics community who have been doing this a long time developed a best practice for that. Recently, we'e been going back and forth about the "best" way to accurately track different types of errors while also using Adobe Analytics to its best potential. We've approached it from different ways: Originally, we fired one event any time there was an error and then two eVars:Error TypeError MessageMore recently, we have tried firing the same event but instead used a list variable to capture all errors happening in a particular scenario, so we would have an errors array with the error event. The most recent discussion has centered on using three different kinds of error events, like service errors vs. user generated, etc. I've also started to rethink how we also manage the expiration of the

Is there any unique identifier available which we can use while fetching Content Fragments content? I know AEM has jcr:UUID as a unique identifier for all content but I can't access it in the Graphql query.

Hi all, I have been following up different links like below to understand AEM Content Architecture:https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/information-architecture/td-p/566047https://cqdump.joerghoh.de/2017/11/06/information-architecture-content-architecture/https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/content-architecture-on-aem-that-supports-concurrent-content/m-p/395046#M9302 There is a great bit of theory of this subject in these. Is there a simple practical example that I could see and learn please? However simple it is. I highly appreciate all your responses. Thanks,RK.
Hi,We are facing an issue where when a Language master page is rolled out to the live copy, we see that the order of components in Live copy is different from that of language master and this could be because of the below reason. Say, along with other components we have a component A in LM and LC (old content before updating/rolling out)and the node name in crxde for this comp is "abc" in both LM and LC.Now, since the author wants the same comp A again in LM but with a different content, he copy pastes comp A in LM which creates a node name "xyz".Now since both comps are same with exact same content, he edits the comp which already existed before instead of updating the newly pasted comp. Due to this, the node names would be interchanged now and old comp becomes "xyz" and the new - "abc" ,when its rolled out to LC there is a confusion as to placing the content in LC because here the node name of existing comp A is still "abc" which I think caused the re-ordering of components as c
Hi, I am doing configuration for my project for the frontend pipeline and I have followed this article - https://www.oshyn.com/blog/context-aware-configurations-aem Example: in the Config folder we have root folder called my-project, we have created US and INT Sling: Folder Inside that we have created node - sling:configs > com.adobe.cq.wcm.core.components.config.HtmlPageItemsConfig -- In this we are creating some thems example we have created two different theme in each country US and INT. I want to know if there are any options available in Adobe Analytics and Adobe Ad Cloud where you can apply rule-based automation to activate and pause campaigns. For example, if Campaign A reaches 50 conversions, then pause the campaign. I'm looking for a solution to apply campaign activation and pausing on a recurring basis. I receive a list of 20 campaigns with their conversion targets every week. It's such a manual task, and I'm seeking to reduce the labor-intensive work by implementing rules based on the activation of campaigns mentioned in the rule or any source sheet and pausing them when they reach the conversion target.
Having a mental lapse here…you can add reviewers to a proof that don’t have a WF license. But I guess there’s no way for these folks to be able to utilize the WF app to review proofs if they wouldn’t be able to log into the app without having an account? If they have an Adobe ID with the same email associated with the proof sent to them for review, could they log into the WF app that way? Blanking on if possible to have them review proofs via the app when you can approve a proof without a WF license…
We have a requirement to add a domain name as a prefix via the Apache Sling Resource Resolver Factory. Is there any alternative approach to achieve this? Thanks

In my report I group tasks by Planned Start Date-Week (renamed "Week of"), then by Planned Start Date - Day (renamed "Due Date"). By default, the Planned Start Date-Week grouping shows the Week start date as Sunday's date, but I want it to show Monday. I've tried a number of things, but nothing seems to work. Below is my latest attempt: For example, I have tasks with a planned start date of 4/5/2024. I want the "Week of" Grouping to display "4/1/2024", as that is the Monday of the week in which the week will be done, but right now it shows "3/31/2024". Here is what I've tried that continued to give me just the 3/31/2024:group.1.valueexpression=ADDDAYS({plannedStartDate},1)group.1.displayname=Week ofgroup.1.iscollapsed=truegroup.1.groupdatesby=WYgroup.1.linkedname=directgroup.1.notime=false When I change the value expression to the following . . . . group.1.valueexpression=ADDDAYS({plannedStartDate},2)group.1.displayname=Week ofgroup.1.iscollapsed=tru

Hello Everyone,1. Our project structure is like /content/project-name/home is the root path and inside this there are 4 parent level pages like product1, product2, product3 etc.2. For one of the page inside /content/project-name/home/product1 say /content/project-name/home/product1/sample-page, our authoring team is using vanity url like this: /product1/product-feature/investment/planning (this page was created earlier and later it deleted/moved. But still they want the reference/bookmark to work as is and thats why they are setting /product1/product-feature/investment/planning as vanity url for above sample page)3. When we access a page with this vanity : host/product1/product-feature/investment/planningits going to 404 page. This is because its conflicting with our redirect rule which we have written for content resolution:RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/(product1|product2|product3)(.*)RewriteRule ^/(.*)$ /content/${CONTENT_FOLDER_NAME}/home/${tolower:$1}.html [PT,L]4. Hello dear Community!!!I am the best in finding new problems ;DWhat i discovered today: Brandportal does not automatically gets tags unpublished that are deleted from the AEM instance. So our BP contains a lot of those OOTB tags that we deleted very early on in the project 😄"Standard Tags" for example... Now i want to clean up the Brand Portal and this "Standard Tags" is not that easy to get rid of.Since i can not delete / unpublish a tag from BP - i created a new namespace "Standard Tags" in AEM, then unpublished it. No effect. Then i published it to BP and found that the "Standard Tags" in BP seems to be different than the one i created. But i can not see how it is different ;(So, dear BP users, did you figure out a way to keep your BP tags clean? /clean it up after the fact...Did you know a way to get rid of those ooooooooold tags that nobody knows what the settings exactly were? And to you, dear Adobe: Please allow the Brand Portal admin a little bit more than it is curr

The goal is to create a Project report, only displaying projects that had their Weekly Update field updated within the last week / 7 days. Weekly Update is a paragraph textbox custom field - it's updates are being tracked within the Updates system feed/activity. Team members update this the weekly update custom field when there are major updates to the project. Then we want to use a report to view only projects where that field was recently updated. How am I able to capture and filter on the Last Updated date value for a custom field on a project report? Can I create a calculated field that can capture and display this date?

At Adobe Summit last week, we announced registration for the Canvas Dashboards Visualization Beta is now open. The primary purpose of the reporting capabilities provided in Canvas Dashboards is to extend the reportable objects in Workfront. In short, we are making objects such as Boards, Document review and approval, and (shortly) Workfront Planning data available in chart and table reports alongside the other primary Workfront objects like projects, tasks, issues, etc. This extended set of reportable objects will only be available on reports created through the Canvas Dashboards area.Along the way, we are also incorporating feedback provided through previous reporting betas, customer conversations, and your posts the Innovation Lab to improve report creation experiences. Please join us for this beta to gain early access to this new capability and to help shape our roadmap for the next iterations of Canvas Dashboards. We plan on enabling this capability for organizations that have pre-reg
Dear All Marketo Customers, This is to inform you about an essential update regarding the Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) service which needs you to change the Android Push Access notification in the Marketo Admin section. Google had deprecated the XMPP protocol on 12th June, 2023 and will stop support on 12th June, 2024. So we will be migrating to the HTTPv1 API from the legacy XMPP protocol. The FCM HTTPv1 API offers several advantages over the legacy protocols, including enhanced security, increased message payload size, and improved error handling. Migrating to the new API will ensure that your push notifications and messaging functionality remain seamless and efficient. Here are the key reasons for the FCM HTTPv1 migration: Improved Security: The FCM HTTPv1 API employs modern security practices, including support for OAuth 2.0 authentication, allowing for secure communication between your servers and the FCM service. Larger Payloads: The new API allow
After we upgraded to SP19, we started to notice that sometimes web services for dropdown menus do not come back to our adaptive forms. You need to refresh sometimes multiple times to get the dropdown menu to populate from initialize correctly. We wrote in C# code for our web services using both Asynchronous and Synchronous methods. Both behave the same way where it does not come back all the time to the adaptive form. We were on SP15 prior to upgrading to SP19. In SP15 we did not have this behavior with the web service calls in prefilling our dropdowns in adaptive forms. Is there any settings on the AEM configuration that we can change or look at in order to resolve the issue?
Hi all -- I am working on a AEMaaCS migration using the Content Transfer Tool and we are experiencing an Exception during Extraction phase that is causing it to fail. The exception is org.apache.jackrabbit.core.data.DataStoreException: Length Collision (see below) and the source is an AEM 6.5 SP13 instance w/ content-transfer.all-3.0.0.zip package installed. The extraction configuration includes a wipe "Overwrite staging container during extraction" and include versions is part of the Migration Set configuration. Pre copy and User mapping is not part of the Migration Set configuration. Any thoughts on how to resolve? I am running a consistency check now -- but that is generally to identify missing binaries. I am at a loss on this issue since it seems related to the Azure Blob Store being targeted. Thanks! 2023-09-10 12:28:09,672 [oak-ds-async-upload-thread-9] ERROR o.a.j.o.p.blob.UploadStagingCache - Error adding file to
