In early 2022, my company finished its acquisition and, as with many, streamlining and centralizing were key themes for all teams. One of the core focus areas was a relaunch of our Microsoft Dynamics CRM (D365) so that both sides of our company could work in a single tool (the other side of the house used Salesforce). As a result, my team had to relaunch our Marketo instance so that we could integrate with the new CRM (Marketo can only be connected to one CRM ever). This meant the start of a core MarTech project – a project that none of my team had any experience with or had taken part in before, a project that would take almost 18 months to complete, and a project that would provide us with many learning opportunities along the way. Here are my five recommendations for fellow MarTech and Marketo professionals, should you find yourself starting your own migration project. Work With a PartnerWhen our project started, my team had three people, one of whom had just started,
Hi everyone,I'm struggling a bit to get my publish instance working properly with AEM + CIF (1.10.0) + Venia + Magento. Everything works properly in author - I can view products, add to cart, and complete checkout. My commerce config path is set as /api/graphql.The problem is that in publish, I'm getting a 403 error when it attempts to hit the graphql endpoint:http://localhost:4503/api/graphqlI have set up the COMMERCE_ENDPOINT environment variable and this is working as expected in author.I checked the CSRF configuration and by default it only has the /graphql endpoint listed as ignoring CSRF, so I'm assuming that the publish endpoint cannot just be /api/graphql. I tried adding /api/graphql to the CSRF config just for fun, but that didn't fix it. So my question is, in order for publish to work, do I have to set up a proxy and update my config in author (and then publish it) using that URL instead? I actually tried changing the URL to hit Magento directly,

By tracking and comparing planned versus actual data in Adobe Workfront, you can identify process gaps, training opportunities, bottlenecks, resource needs and ultimately, better understand why the delivery veered away from the original plan. From there, you can implement improvements to keep things on track for future project execution. The most used comparisons are planned vs actual dates, cost and hours. There are multiple ways to capture this information in Workfront – custom forms, column rules, text mode reporting, calculated data expressions – but to keep it simple, let’s stick with conditional formatting, or column rules. Step-by-step instructions Follow the step-by-step instructions in the blog, Compare Dates (and more!) Using Conditional Formatting, to learn how to apply conditional formatting to cells or rows where actual data is greater than planned. Then, apply this new learning to each of the scenarios below in your own instance. We've included additional
Make no mistake – email is still a primary channel marketers rely on to engage with their customers. Research shows that 41% say it’s very critical—up nearly 30% since 2020. And consumers are just as reliant on email, where they prefer brands to communicate with them via email over other channels. Therefore, it is as important as ever to marketers for emails to make it to the inbox and drive engagement. But this can be a challenge, as 1 in 6 legitimate, permission-based marketing emails aren’t delivered (Validity, State of Email, 2023). To succeed with email marketing, email marketers must address challenges related to planning, infrastructure, and data. To support overcoming these, and other challenges, we are excited to announce the availability of deliverability offerings, Essentials, Enhanced, and Plus. These offerings are designed to give you the ultimate flexibility in choosing which package is the best for you and replace all legacy deliverability packages for Campaign

Marketo Measure is a business-to-business (B2B) marketing attribution solution that tracks and reports on the effectiveness of marketing efforts and channels. Adobe offers both standard Marketo Measure (with multiple tiers) as well as Marketo Measure Ultimate to best meet the attribution needs of various types of customers. So how do you know which one might be the best fit for your organization? Both versions of the product use website activity and “offline” data to track all of the interactions a person has with your brand, otherwise known in Measure as touchpoints. Both surface up insights as to which touchpoints align to critical stages in the customer journey, like first touch, lead creation and opportunity creation, as well as the channels those touchpoints came from, whether a specific paid ad or attending a particular event. Both also integrate with key ad networks such as Google AdWords, LinkedIn, Facebook and Bing. Finally, both offer powerful Discover dashboards withi
SMS (that stands for Short Message Service, if you were wondering) is an incredibly powerful tool for engaging with clients – after all, the open rate of SMS is 98% and text messages can be 8x more effective at engaging customers, who, by the way, tend to read a text message within 5 minutes of receiving it. This and more nifty data and strategy can be found in this handy strategy guide from Adobe. Any number of SMS delivery platforms can integrate with Marketo Engage, leveraging its REST API endpoints, Marketo also offers a native tool to create and deploy SMS messages within the Marketo user interface – Vibes SMS Messages. While leveraging the SMS functionality of Vibes.com, this add-on feature is offered through Adobe and comes with the benefit of building SMS messages graphically within the Marketo interface, just as you do with emails, and sending them via an intuitive flow step. You can see as you are building the message how long it is and where it might “break” into two
Were facing an issue with saving an instance of a content fragment. From Navigation --> Assets --> Files --> content fragment folder --> content fragment instance, I am unable to save new data in these content fragments. Below are screenshots of what we are seeing: We are using AEM version 6.5.10 and intend to use GraphQL 0.0.6. Just curious to know if theres anything in the config manager or bundles that need to be taken care of to resolve these errors were seeing in the console.
While it is in my clipboard... If you have a Custom Parameter dropdown with a lot of Values in it, I invite you to add some numerically prefixed section breaks and train your users to type the number of the section of interest for quicker navigation (e.g. typing 9 will "jump" to Reg Approval Stars, after which they can then scroll further down to the item of interest. Enjoy! Regards,Doug

Imagine working day and night hard, throughout the whole competition window only to realise that a day before, a miscommunication happened. We were initially given the deadline to submit on Wednesday, 28 February 2024 at 22:59 Pacific Standard Time.Yesterday, A new message comes up which says: "Hi students, This is a reminder that presentations are due tonight by 11:59pm PT. We are seeing successful uploads of presentations without any issues. If you come across a repeated error while uploading, try another browser. Thanks," Can someone say what 11:59 means? It obviously means 23:59 PT, 1 HOUR EXTRA FROM THE PREVIOUS MENTIONED.Since this was the latest message, we thought to trust it. But to our surprise, the submissions closed at 22:59 and all are hard and honest work, swept away with time. Whom to seek? Perhaps, left alone, with no support. Extremely disappointed from my heart.I have attached an image as well.
While Analysis Workspace is excellent for sharing data stories across Adobe Analytics users, users often need help if there is a need to share the report with outside individuals. Using the Workspace Project PowerPoint Exporter, you can go beyond exporting a project as a .pdf or .csv. You can automatically export visualizations and tables into a PowerPoint deck using the tool. As screenshots of the report and .pdf/.csv versions are a common way to share insights with a broader team, there are limitations around editing and clarifying key data points. This limitation may be a significant challenge if you want to emphasize or update critical findings from the analysis. However, using the PowerPoint Exporter tool, Freeform tables, including those with breakdowns, are transformed into native PowerPoint tables, making them easily editable and customizable. How to Use: Open the existing project or create a new one in the PowerPoint Exporter. Ensure the project is fully loaded and navigate t
I have a java class that I call via data-sly-use but unsure on how to access document.referrer. I need to find out where the request came from. Example: I'm on localhost:4503:/content/mysite/page1.html. if I click on a link that's in page1.html, I want to get the URI/URL of page1 after the new page loads. This is Mozilla's explanation (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Document/referrer) of document.referrer: The Document.referrer property returns the URI of the page that linked to this page. Thanks
