REQUIREMENT You are managing DITA content in AEM, and you want to publish that content to (say) PDF output. But you have metadata for your publication(ditamap) managed as AEM metadata - and you want to pass this metadata to the publishing engine to use it in the output.   Let us understand this with an example. You have some AEM metadata, say "docstate" or "publisher" or "description" in AEM metadata schema, and you want to show this metadata on front page of the PDF output. Where we are:1. Managing the publication/ditamap metadata in AEM assets2. Description: ACS - Using the ExternalApi to call the "Azure Logic Apps" in complex recursisvity processing;Why: We need to transpose a large table from lines to columns. Within ACS it was not possible;How: Therefore we use our integrator to do this work for the ACS and return the result on another table in the ACS database;We still had to use Azure Function for the response time to be faster, in less than 1 minute, which is the timeout timeout of the ExternalApi :Current: File is manipulated manually and then imported into the ACS:ReResult: This solution is already working in our Dev environment. Let's soon migrate to PRD.

Hi All,Recently we have migrated from AEM 6.2 to 6.4,when we upload an image/asset to DAM, renditions/original thumbnail view is not showing up instead it is showing up ".thumb.319.319.png" thumbnail view. Is there any way to use renditions/original for DAM assets without overlay/overriding OOTB code.We are using below versions in POM.xml but when i check in felix console, cq-dam-commons version is 5.11.182 and cq-dam-api version is 5.11.70com.day.cq.dam.cq-dam-commons - 5.6.8 versioncom.day.cq.dam.cq-dam-api - 5.6.6 version

Suppose In my DAM I have two folder /content/dam/us/en and /content/dam/us/de I want to create option filter predicate for /content/dam/us/en which should not reflect on /content/dam/us/de DAM asset path  Question 1. Can we add filter predicate for just  /content/dam/us/en dam path?2. Can we add filter different for  /content/dam/us/en and  /content/dam/us/de which should not reflect in one another?

In AEM as a cloud service , there are couple of static pages which are consumed by website which does not share the same domain of these pages, By default when we try to load those pages on the website with different domain it gives CORS issue saying No "Access-Control-Allow-Origin" header present on the requested resource.  I referred to the adobe documentation suggested for configuring multiple domains to avoid CORS issue https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-with-aem-headless/deployments/configurations/cors.html?lang=en#dispatcher-configuration I tried to add below 2 lines as suggested for 2 domains. Experience Fragments are getting displayed as Empty page in AEM when ever tried to open after exporting into target from AEM 6.5 as Cloud - We have enabled AB testing activity in Adobe target for one AEM page with 50/50 score, we have used same page for experience-A and for experience-B , we have removed form content in current page & replaced with experience fragment ( offers) which was exported from AEM as cloud. - Later we are trying to update changes in same Experience Fragment in AEM, but suddenly this page is getting empty in AEM author ( AEM as Cloud). any insights/suggestions on this matter, why exported experience fragment to Adobe target pages are getting impacted  on AEM side and Thank you. CheersRaju

I'm working on an upgrade from 6.2 to 6.5. We will not be switching to Touch UI any time soon because they have not budgeted for it. We are only working to get the old Classic UI and JSP pages to run in 6.5.I am also trying to update the project to the latest Adobe archetype. I have everything building and deploying now but when the JSP runs, I am getting a ClassNotFoundException for the com.day.cq.wcm.api.Page class.What do I need to do so that the class can be found by the JSP?

We have a use case where we have to design a form divided into sub forms , tables(static and dynamic) , nested tables and each section have a different requirement of headers. We can handle continuous tables or sub form header with the help of multiple master pages. But with multiple master pages it creates a space between continuous sections following particular master page style and the new section always start with a new page following other master page style. Is there a way can we start a new master page sections just after end of previous master page sections to remove spaces? Attached a sample explaining the use-case

Hi,My AEM instance has suddenly broke.It logged me out and all the style sheets look weird.As you can see below the fonts and input boxes are weird and when i click sign in i get taken to this url:http://localhost:4502/libs/granite/core/content/login.html/j_security_check and on the url there is this error message: Access to localhost was deniedYou don't have authorisation to view this page.HTTP ERROR 403i cant get to any other urls so i cant even get to the sling logs.when i go to the CRX and try logging in it says details dont match:can anyone help me fix this?

I had this question for a long time , especially for Maven bundles. I am not sure if this is the right way but I figured out something after going through many (actually not dat many ) How to add a third party bundle to you AEM package ? | LinkedIn  Hope this helps . I would really like to know if this is a right way to do this. Anybody who has previously done this can let me know if this is ok. For me the packages are behaving as expected even when I do fresh build.
