Hi people, My actual code is rolling out all the products from a catalog, using the method: rolloutChanges (Page master, Page target, boolean reset) - docs I'm trying to rollout to generate the product pages from this catalog, but specifying what product I want to rollout and generate the product page. I've tried the other documentation methods: executeProductRolloutHooks (Resource productComponent); executePageRolloutHooks (Page page, boolean reset); but nothing seems to work. Don't know if I was clear to explain what I'm trying to do. Thanks in advance for the help. Edit: using AEM version 6.5 When I tried to use executeProductRolloutHooks, it always give a null pointer exception and don't generates the pages.
I see some intermittent issues with deviceemulator clientlib. I verified the permission of everyone group and it has the read access to all the required folders. Because of this issue, it is restricting the click action of the emulator bar in authoring mode. Version: 6.5 /libs/granite/author/deviceemulator/clientlibs.min.js Can someone tell me what is the fix for this issue.
I am trying to deploy AEM author on OCP, the version I am trying to deploy is AEM_6.5_Quickstart.jar. When I run the Dockerfile it is running with the port 4502 on my local. But when I am trying to deploy the same Dockerfile on OCP, my container is not able to spin up and it is in CrashBackLoop state. I have deployed the dispatcher and it is working fine. The error I am getting: The container will fail after the above output as shown. Hi, Currently using OOTB accordion, we are trying to add icon/image in accordion output. Which will provide image details to author before opening. Tried adding image using (coral-fileupload) in core/wcm/components/commons/editor/dialog/childreneditor/v1/childreneditor/childreneditor.html. coral3 fileupload does not provide functionality to browse assets from AEM DAM. you can only upload from local. 1) Anyone suggestion and recommendation to add icon in accordion, requirement is as per attachment provided? 2) Code snippet used in childreneditor.html, but it is allowing only local file system not from dam. Looking same functionality as cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/fileupload drag and drop image in dialog Regards, Guru Pavan
Hello experts, I faced some errors after adding the AEM Form component into Site Page editable template structure:Anyone knows how to solve it? Thanks very much.
I currently have the standard LogManager configuration that writes an access.log file for AEM.The value of Message Pattern (org.apache.sling.commons.log.pattern) is "{5}". This logs the standard NCSA extended/combined log format. Now I want to add custom fields, as described in:Apache Sling :: Client Request Logging However, I cannot add these format strings in the system console LogManager configuration like that. If I try it just stops working. As I understand it, the "{5}" is just a placeholder for the default message being logged by the logger (which in this case is NCSA).My org.apache.sling.engine.impl.log.RequestLogger is configured to an SLF4J logger. The way I understand the section about MDC in Apache Sling :: Logging it sounds like it should be possible to pass through some custom log message format strings to the logger. Now I tried %d{dd.MM.yyyy HH:mm:ss.SSS} *%p* %h %l %u %t "%r" %>s %b "%\{Referer}i" "%\{User-Agent}i" "%\{Host}i"But this does not work, logging stops in t
Introduction When using Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), you may encounter "No Value" entries in the data within an Analysis Workspace project. This occurs when an event in a CJA dataset contains a metric, but its corresponding dimension does not have an associated line-item value during the reporting time period. The "No Value" entry serves as a catch-all line item to identify the remainder of the metric data that is not tied to a distinct dimension line-item value. Understanding the variations in your CJA data is crucial, especially when dealing with "No Value" cases. In such instances, it may be necessary to take appropriate administrative action in the Data View component settings to prevent users from drawing incorrect conclusions. This blog post discusses how to handle "No Value" entries in CJA. It covers available methods for administrators to mitigate them in the Data View component settings and at the user level in workspace projects. “No Value” Options in Data View Compon
Hello All, Boomi seems to support a lot of third party things though Splunk isn't listed here. Dell has a "contact us" page for this specific use case, though - that of adding integrations. My guess is that one of the ones they already have should be able to be modified to move data to Splunk, since Splunk's so good at snagging random data formats. One of the listed ones may be some sort of JSON or Syslog dump to file, which should be all the Splunk needs. A bit of potential parsing and tada! The hardest part, and maybe this is partly what you are asking about, is what exactly are you doing in Boomi that you'd want to know about in Splunk? Session information of a sort? That is definitely an answer of "Well, it depends on what you are using it for and what you WANT out of it..."Jitterbit's entire goal seems to be to enable integration, so I can't imagine it should be too hard to configure it into some semblance usability with Splunk. It could be as simple as dropping a syslog out of Ji

Global Form Validation Rules —a.k.a. server-enforced banned email domains — came out last year for Marketo forms. They’re a step up from JavaScript-driven domain validation: server-side rules can’t be bypassed by hackers, and they also hide your list of “interesting” domains from end users. (That is, if a person is blocked, they can’t see the other domains you block all at once.[1]) But they have one downside that custom JS validation doesn’t: they only officially support a single language. So if you have this Error Message text: That's what everybody sees, regardless of other translations at the form level: So let's do something fun to enable additional language support. The form error payload You wouldn't have any reason to know this, but when there's a submission error (that is, an error after sending data to Marketo, not validation errors that occur entirely within JS) the Forms 2.0 library passes aro
We have a significant investment in statewide forms produced and maintained in AEM Forms. Forms are extended for Adobe Reader before publication on the organization's website. Recently, we have begun receiving phone calls complaining that the buttons to Save, Print and Clear forms are no longer working, and in the process of looking at that, we have found that check boxes with Global Binding (so, mutually exclusive) also no longer work as intended. Is this some new feature? A known bug? We would be grateful for any insight. For reference, see https://www.courts.ca.gov/documents/ch109.pdf - page 1, item 4 for checkboxes, and page 2 for buttons. I checked, and they are formatted correctly, and as we have done it for the past ((at least) 10 years.

Find Out Why Your AEM Integration Is Not Working by Achim Koch Abstract As AEM developers, we often encounter situations where third-party plugins are used to enhance the site’s functionality. Often you don’t have the plugin’s source code — and when the integration does not work ad hoc as expected troubleshooting can be challenging. There are two types of integrations: Frontend integration — the browser has a connection to both AEM and the 3rd party service. This sometimes is referred to as a mashup. If your plugin uses this strategy, you can use the browser’s development tool and you can stop reading. This article is not for you. Backend integration — the browser connects to AEM, only and the 3rd party service is called from there. Frontend and backend integration Backend integration’s often are a black box. You don’t really know what’s going on. Debugging is more difficult. These are your options: Remote-attach a debugger and have the code decompiled by the IDE Crank up the log
AEM Full Text Lucene Search Implementation -Part 2 by Shubhanshu Singh Abstract Searching for content can sometimes feel like finding a needle in a haystack. In the previous article AEM Lucene Search Part 1 we understood how to create index definitions in general. With the concepts highlighted below, we can get more accurate and relevant results. In this blog post, we’ll explore Filtering, Stemming, Suggestion, Analyzers, Boosting, and Similarity Filtering: Restrict Search Filtering narrows down search results based on criteria like category, date, or location, you can refine your queries and exclude irrelevant documents. Index Query path=/content/my-site type=cq:Page property=jcr:content/category property.value=Books fulltext= p.limit=10 The query engine searches for pages that match the specified path “/content/my-site” and type “cq:Page”. It then narrows down the search scope to pages under the given path and of the specified type. Read Full Blog AEM Full Text Lucene Search I
If you're a human working with Marketo (or any Marketing Automation platform for the name's sake) - you most likely have witnessed or at least have heard from your colleagues, friends, or connections about how a messy database is draining their Marketing investments without the expected proportional ROI. Keeping your marketing database clean is one of the most important things you can do to improve your data-driven marketing. This blog post discusses some of the best practices for auditing the Marketo database and ongoing data management campaigns/monitoring setup to ensure that the data remains accurate and clean. Auditing the Marketo Database Following is the list of things that I do and suggest doing while auditing the database of a newly inherited / client's Marketo instance: Start by documenting and comparing how aligned their products/BUs, and marketing team is with their existing workspace - person partition implementation (if any) in place. I've seen a hand

We've just picked up an AEM implementation from another shop and came across this issue, which appears the original developers never tried to solve. For some reason we're unable to remove first rows on AEM forms. We did a bit of debugging and it turns out the javascript code doing the event handling is actively preventing first rows from being removed. The file that's doing is is called guideRuntime.min.js. So yeah, we're trying to understand why the odd behaviour. I'll add more info to this ticket as I try to get all the deets about our AEM implementation (sorry not an AEM developer here). Hope anyone out there can give us some guidance!
Not sure, how many of you liked the legacy useradmin page in on-prem and AMS but I am a big fan of this page. Especially while debugging issues. I am really missing this feature in AEMasCS and Adobe suggested raising a feature request with the pain points.Planning to collect others pain points aswelll to consolidate and submit for the feature request to bring back legacy useradmin page in AEMasCS. Please do add yours!.
