Would love to see an improved variable change log incorporated within the Report Suites area of Admin Console (Conversion Variables, Success Events, Processing Rule, Traffic Variables, etc). I could see this as an additional expanded menu that shows changes for that specific variable and the date. This would help with quickly debugging issues and keeping a record of changing that can have a large impact on your data. The Admin Tools Log is not exactly what I want to be sifting through when I am double checking a change seen in a particlar variable and need to get a better understanding of potential changes on this variable's settings.
if i send a workspace project by PDF (or CSV) without schedule (just immediate sending), it will produce an entry in the list of "scheduled reports". this way, the more projects you send by email, the longer get's the list. an moreover, you can not filter which "scheduled reports" are really schedules or not ...even i think this is a bug in implementation, i raise an idea to improve the "scheduled reports" list and ask for an additional filter:- "active" schedules: would show only scheduled reports which are still active, will be sent in future- "scheduled": will show all scheduled reports which have a real scheduling option- "expired": will show scheduled reports where the expiry date is in the pastfeel free to add more filter ideas in the commentskind regardsurs
We're currently looking at importing offline sales data in order to help us evaluate the performance of our optimisation campaigns. Ideally I want to be able to look at the A4T ranked report with a number of online metrics and our offline sale metric. I've attached a screenshot which shows the standard A4T ranked report and the Sales metric that is being imported using Data Sources. Currently we're importing the sales metric as event11 and correlating with purchaseID, so when I look at the purchaseID report against event11 I'm seeing data as expected. However, if I try to breakdown A4T activity reporting by purchaseID and then tie to event11 it will show all as zeros. I'm assuming this is because the sales event is only correlated with the purchaseID but not the A4T activity report. It would be extremely useful to be able to evaluate Target campaign performance against offline data that forms a key part of the end to end purchase funnel.
It would be great if Adobe Analytics allowed customers to identify variables in the Admin console as they wish instead of having to use "event1" or "event2"If users could pick their own names, they could more easily make implementations align across multiple report suites instead of having to worry about pre-defined variable slots for events, eVars and sProps. For example, if you defined internal searches as event.internalsearch, you could make that consistent in all implementations vs. having to make sure all report suites used the correct event number. This would also make it easier to share objects across implementations.
Working on React Native and getting Adobe Analytics to work in a pain, we need to create bridge and make methods avaliable from the Native path in ReactNative, so can we please have a npm package that works in React and ReactNative?
As an admin, I would like to push specific calendar events only to specific distribution lists as long as we have a multi brand account. This way it would be quicker to share the calendar event, instead of selecting (and potentially forgetting) all the users interested in the event. Thanks
Currently, the Adobe Analytics tool does not show Logs for Classification rule builder. I happen to check with the client care team as well and they confirmed that the logs are not available at backend as well. The option should be available in Admin Logs so that admin can track down users who made changes in the RULE Builders rules.
It would be great if we could create a custom calendar when creating virtual report suites. Specifically, it would be great if we could create a week ending Friday calendar (which is what I need)
When i share a workspace project with someone and select the Automatically Shared Embedded Components with Recipients option, the other user can view any Calculated Metric. However, if there is a segment nested in the shared Calculated Metric, the user is unable click to view the segment logic.
In Adobe SC, there should also be option to schedule the dashboards quarterly. We are sending 100+ dashboards quarterly but all that is manual effort to do so and this takes a lot of time every quarter.
I think it would be super-cool if users could use SHIFT or CTRL to select rows in Analysis Workspace and temporarily see them grouped together and with metrics for the grouped rows summed. Today, you have to leave what you are doing and either build a segment or create a SAINT Classification. This stops the flow of doing analysis. For example, let's say that I am looking at a Freeform Table with Day of Year as the dimension. What if I wanted to group the first 7 rows and see the data aggregated. It would be great if I could select the rows and then right-click to open a new table that has those rows summed. As another example, what if I were looking at a set of blog posts (or pages) and I randomly wanted to search for the ones that include the word "campaign" (shown below) and see all of that aggregated into one row:In the future, it would be cool if these ad-hoc (no pun intended!) selections could be saved, shared and turned into segments...Better yet would be a way to create these aggr
My idea is regarding the Marketing Channel Overview Report:There are default metrics for the conversion reports, but I can't find any option for Marketing Channels. Especially for content sites without tracked revenue it's laborious to always change the metrics and further this always needs to be explained to less experienced users. It would be great to set a company wide default for the selected metrics. Best Regards,Sebastian
In Analysis Workspace, provide a new table type called “Details Table”. I would think this would be on the level of Freeform Table. From there dimensions and metrics can only be applied across the top It would treat everything at the Hit level. Dimensions that are Visitor/People level would align automatically to the left, Visit level would be to the right of Visitor/People and Hit level dimensions and metrics would always be right most.Hits would be sorted and grouped by Visitor, Visit and Hit in chronological order. There should be some type of shading to show the groupings.Any Visitor or Visit level values would repeat itself for each Hit in their respective Visitor or Visit grouping (note that Data Workbench does not repeat the value for each Hit but I think it should to make it easier to create Pivot Tables after exporting to Excel).Allow up to ten dimensions/metric combinations. Any dimension or metric could be applied. It would be great if the
I very much like the graphic element within site analysis especially since it makes executive presentations more intuitive.Given this, could you add a feature that would allow animation of this over time? For example, if we were viewing traffic and made a change, we could see how the traffic pattern shifted as the changes were instituted. As our ad campaigns ran, we could monitor new traffic patterns. We could graphically depict how a Target experience influenced the visitor path with the end result updating as tests ran. If a technical issue arose, we could visualize this through the issue. The software would enable an export to run in PowerPoint or on a web site.
Hi, Currently in Adobe, we use a few calculated metrics that rely on averages. We use arithmetic mean when calculating Average Order Value(Sum of Revenue divided by Sum of Orders) and Average Selling Price (Sum of Revenue divided by Sum of Units). Unfortunately, when applying these calculated metrics to a smaller population or segmented data set in Adobe Analytics, the mean does not account for outliers. It would be nice if calculated metrics had a harmonic mean function.
I would like the option to bulk delete users from Adobe Analytics, even if they have bookmarks or saved dataThe interface should offer the option, but ask me if I would like to accept the risk of doing so with some promptsCurrently the option is not offered, which I think is very time inefficient on my end to manually delete each user one by one
Adobe is a global company, offering its products around the world. The expectation is that the tools work also in non-English environments. There are several issues where functions do not work as designed due to lack of language support (or foreign language testing), especially in ReportBuilder.I am not talking about translation issues or missing languages (all our reporting and also Adobe UI settings are in English), but there are issues if the Windows client and/or UI is not English. For example, the "segment segment from cell" script does not work if the OS is German (even if Excel UI and ReportBuilder UI are English). My suggestion: Adobe, please test your tools in non-English UI environments before rolling it out to the customer.
I would like the ability to set up simple year over year daily alerts. Our industry is very cyclical and/or seasonal on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Trying to set up day over day, week over week or month over month alerts is not feasible. I have done the analysis on basic metrics; visits, transactions, etc. and I see the variance for the highs and lows for those comparisons as follows; Day over Day: -47% to +148%Week over Week: -51% to +150%Month Over Month: -71% to +142%When I do a Year over Year (i.e. -364 days, same day of week) I get the ranges -15% to +21%,So for us having alerts for a Year over Year day are a much more accurate measure of change and allow for setting tighter thresholds
As an Adobe Analytics leader across many markets, I would like to enable account & data access governance by creating different permissions for our reporting users. In the Old Adobe product, you could provide Read Only access to the Admin - Report Suite settings section. This means user could at least go into the configuration of a report suite and see the eVar, Props, events, marketing channels rules that are created (but prevent their ability from modify the settings).Today you can not with the new portal. It has a "Read" view in Permission-Report Suite Tools, but you can still Write & modify configurations. This is not good for data & account set-up governance.I would recommend to redefine the current Read Views as they are quite inaccurate.
A Flow visualization can get a little difficult to handle after the user switches from one dimension to another. One dimension:Very clean and aligned with what I clicked. Page Type = Product Details is expanded into all the next Page Types. But as soon as I switch dimensions in the right-most column to Product (to analyze what products were being accessed), I get into trouble:Each value that was shown in the Page Type column is now expanded into the Product dimension column: Product Details, Department, Search Results, Shopping Cart, and Home. To continue my analysis, I have to click everything but Product Details.I'd love to be able to right-click on one of the values in Page Type to focus on paths that go through that Product Details item only:
Hi guys,Background:People using Virtual Report Suite Report suite get the "Component may not appear" alert every time they try to save a new segment / metric / date range which is not centrally added to VRS by the team supporting the implementation.Acceptance criteria:In many other alerts Adobe displays "do not show me this alert anymore", therefore we would appreciate the tick box under the given alert which will allow to not show the alert again. Many thanks for your support on that,Best regards,Jakub
Adobe:In administrating and managing AA at my company, it would be useful if we had an ability to download listings of "Scheduled Reports", Data Warehouse Reports, as well as being able to download lists from all other Admin pages. In some locations within Adobe Analytics, we are offered an opportunity to "Export to *.csv format" - I would like to see this ability everyplace - one example of a place I would like to see this would be within the "Scheduled Report Manager." One example of a place where this already exists is within Admin > Analytics Users and Assets - placing a check mark in the box at the top of the column on the far let checks all boxes and makes "Export to csv" available. I would like to see this function everyplace.Thank You,Bill MenichilloDow Jones
I'd like to propose a new variable that is used to capture both pageviews and actions. I've always done this as a best practice in my implementations, but started to think it wasn't necessary now that dimensions and dimension types can be mixed in Workspace pathing. For example, I can start with Page, select a page, then drag in Custom Link, select a link value, drag in page, etc. This type of analysis is done often in the app world, but makes just as much sense in web analysis too. However, that example is not a replacement for a single variable that captures everything. One big reason is that the above bold example assumes there is a custom link in between each page view. There may not be - a pageview could take place immediately following a pageview - and that path would be ignored from the visualization.A similarly big reason is that two non-pageview links in a row also wouldn't be represented in the bold example. And finally, if the user happened to download a file in between thos
Feature request for a product syntax segment. Basically when you fire multiple products in a single hit and those products have product syntax variables, you can't use them in segments. Any hit level segment captures the entire hit, not just the specific product syntax value you're looking for. For example, if you have one order with three products (two new, one used) and each new item is $11 and the used is $6, let's assume you're setting the condition as a product syntax variable. For the first two the value is "new" and the third is "used". If you build a hit level segment where this variable equals "used", you'll see $28 instead of $6 since all three products were set in the same hit.
Example: In AA, I am only able to see the variable name, but not if it is a prop or evar.AA: Adhoc, which clearly states if thi is an evar or a prop.Asking since AA will be sunset eventually.
